I've been told I talk very laid back and down to earth, and others aren't annoyed by my voice but it's something I'm always conscious of. I have Gem ASC. It's kind of thick and low sounding, but not deep or raspy. I tend to be loud without knowing it and tend to not care about my tone of voice a lot. I've got taurus rising and my voice, in my opinion, is borderline obnoxious. It gets rough easily, but when it's not it carries well. Extremely well. As in, I'm always the person who can make a loud room shut up without doing more than talking loudly because it just carries so well. Not exactly something I'm proud of, but there you go.I'm originally from the midwest and people where I live now--the southwest--can tell. When I go back to my hometown, though, I get asked where I'm from. (Once I was asked if I was from england...that was weird.) I think I must pick up pieces of accents easily. IP: Logged |

I have Pluto in the 2nd house with Scorpio 2nd house cusp I'm very clear when I need to be and I'm good at speaking to groups of people, I can project my voice so everyone hears me and pays attention. * AQUA rising.As a girl, my voice is comparatively low, I can never pull off a squeaky or high-pitched voice :/ It's husky and slightly hoarse, but clear. I talk slow - I find it to be strange since my mercury is Arian. People tell me that my voice is very soothing and I sound like I'm sleepy or exhausted. @lovehate122 same here, I used to suffer from asthma, so my voice tones developed into breathless ones. I have a Capricorn Asc and Moon in Taurus and I have a young-sounding, feminine voice that totally makes people think I am much younger than I am. I've been told many times it's very pleasant sounding and that men like it. I guess so since I have a problem with guys getting a crush on me when they talk to me on vent (I'm a gamer.) It's gotten as bad as my male gaming friends telling me not to let new men on the vent because it invariably turns into a crush. lol Interestingly enough, I read that Moon in Taurus usually means a pleasant sounding voice! Maybe there are some other Moon in Taurus people who can comment? Incidentally, and maybe most people find this is the same, but my voice changes somewhat according to who I'm speaking to/the circumstances. My voice very much betrays my emotions. So for instance, if someone arrives who I have feelings for, I've been told my voice "melts" and makes the other guys present very uncomfortable... lol. Ironically I didn't really notice it till some of my male friends started messaging me to ask what was going on with the fellow because they recognized a distinct change in my voice when he was around. anyyyway! People told me all the time my voice sounds like a kid. I even got kindergartner and spongebob. which is not true! i dont sound like him lol. Also that when i sing its too piercing. When i was a kid my voice sounded all scratchy though then it went away. I like to sing but i can't really sing well. Its just an impulse that i HAVE to sing along with songs.

I have a Scorpio rising, and my voice is very deep. It's natural pitch is in the 110-120 hz range, and I can go as low, maybe lower than 80 hz. Capricorn rules my third and I have Saturn in Aries in the 6th on the DSC. I also have Mercury conjunct Neptune exact in the third, both squaring Saturn. ------------------

My ascendant is Scorpio, but I think my voice is more Taurean like my Sun sign. I've heard that I sound more cheerful and upbeat than others would expect from my online posts, which is extremely misleading considering I'm not cheerful and upbeat very often. Offline, no one would ever mistake me for upbeat and cheerful. I'm very private and not very talkative. I think my Gemini Moon could also be playing a role in how I sound. It could be your MC that's playing while you're online. I have to admit that I come off quite differently online compared to how I come off in real life. Online I am more Leonine, and in real life I am very reclusive. ------------------

There are multiple things in my chart that seem to be the reason for the different aspects of my speech lol. So I have an aries asc, it definitely makes me speak as if im a "boss" haha, but the ruler (mars) is in my 8th house & in scorpio so it makes me my personality (& speech) more hidden. I don't talk as forward and direct to most people as other aries rising might.
I have jupiter & saturn in taurus in my second house. I feel like saturn definitely restricts my throat and voice when i try to speak LOUD  ( physically I never really learnt how to speak loud and so that has definitely not been a good thing lol. I believe that saturn also would have more of an impact on my speech than jupiter because the saturn squares my mercury/venus conjunction in leo. So when I am speaking (just in general and im relaxed) I do tend to have a pleasant sounding voice because of the mercury/venus conjunction.
I guess overall my voice is usually quiet & soft but I can definitely get loud (without realising it)IP: Logged |
