if a man has venus in aqua with a libra rising , he could also be attracted to his 11th house no?

My venus is in my 3rd house and i find gemini men attractive .

My 5th house is Gemini and i find gemini , virgo or a high mix of mercury attractive .

my 7th house is leo and i find men who dress nice and are basically leo personified easy to begin relationships with and I love leos , But to be honest leo influenced people flock to me must be all that aqua!!

my eigth house is virgo and my mars is there i tend to HATE virgo influenced people with a burning passion and i find others hot as hell and i get pretty obsessed with them. Since my mars is there i also find aries men HOT ! but i hate their blunt agressiveness yet its soo hot!

Virgo 5H Virgos are attracted to me. My mom and gran are both virgos.

Scorpio 7H I scorpios, altho very infuriating to say the least lol

Yes to 7th house too, Gemini is there and I have attracted Gemini suns and moons more than Gemini Venus and Mars. Mercury in the 9th, I like those culturally different from me, as well as good conversation.

Yes!!! I have Pluto&Saturn and like Scorpio/Capricorn energy. Also, with a little bit of Pisces. I've never dated a Libra before or had a romantic interest.

I did an entire thread on this a while back… about Venus and Mars and how the signs of Venus and Mars each rule a house… which shows more of what we like about the opposite sex…

And about your original question on the 5th ,7th and 8th houses. Yes I’m very attracted to mine.

My 5th house is Aries ruled by Mars in Leo, and I just love fiery outgoing guys. Guys with courage, daring and a trusting sort of enthusiasm, are very hot to me. And, yes, Aries placements are very common in those to whom I’m most attracted.

My 7th house is Gemini, ruled by Mercury in Sagittarius, with Jupiter in the 7th house. I’m overwhelmingly attracted to Sag people in general, and I just love Sag guys… They have this likable boyish innocence even when they’re old, and their humor, intellect and idealism is fun to me. I’ve been attracted to those with Gemini influences too, but the Sag attraction is more powerful… probably because of both Jupiter in the 7th and Mercury in Sag ruling the 7th cusp.

My 8th house is Cancer ruled by the Moon also in Cancer in the 8th house. I’ve got ruler of the 8th in the 8th because of this. Cancer Moons and Scorpio placements in general are intriguing to me, like I wanna figure them out and get inside their hearts and minds…. When someone touches my Moon in synastry it can really turn me on, and I have to use my Saturn self-control to keep it in check.

My Gemini Dsc symbolically rules the 3rd house, and my 3rd house cusp is Aquarius, ruled by Uranus in Scorpio…. I have noticed that I ’m also really attracted to Aqua/Scorpio combos in people. One of my celeb crushes was Ethan Hawk, he’s a Scorpio with Moon in in Aqua…. And it’s interesting to note that he’s also got a tight Jupiter/Sun conjunction which resonates with my original 7th house.

THE 2ND HOUSE IS THE HOUSE OF SENUSAL PLEASURE AND HAVING SOMETHING TO OFFER

The 2nd house can have to do with a very basic kind of physical attraction in synastry and overlays. The Sun, Moon, Asc, Venus, or Mars here particularly could enhance physical attraction. A person influencing this house will not make them your romantic ‘type‘, but there are other benefits to be gained from 2nd house synastry in a relationship context.

Yeah, I’ve noticed similar things.

What I’ve noticed is that the 5th and the 7th are extremely activating, and that the 8th house seems to activate in response them. Yeah, the 5th house is extremely thrilling and stands out a lot in the beginning…. You notice that person really fast.

I think the reason for this is that the 5th house rules the initial spark in a relationship, where we are first swept away by somebody. So when you have 5th house connections with somebody it’s like an instantaneous recognition of ‘your interesting’. 5th house connections make you fall in love right away.

The 7th house rules established partnership and affection. This house can activate fast, if there are also 5th house connections in synastry, but it can also take it’s time when there are not…. Kind of like where you like the person so much and they grow on you. The 7th without the 5th is like a warm friendship that gets stronger and turns to love with time.

Out of the 3 relationship houses, the 8th house rules the last phase of the relationship process….. Here we’ve moved in with the person, joined our resources, and consummated the relationship. In a sense you need to go through the 5th house (courtship) and the 7th house (official partnership) before you can fully access the 8th. If there are only 8th house connections in synastry and no 5th house and 7th house ones…. An activation to the 8th house may be slow to manifest, or it may not manifest at all.

That being said, my 8th house ruler is the Moon and I’ve felt it activated very powerfully in the past, but there is always a 5th or 7th house connection as well in such cases.

I guess my thoughts are that the 5th house opens the door to the 7th house, and the 7th house opens the door to the 8th house.

Another thing to consider is that if you have 5th house connections with somebody and the 7th is missing you might not be able to see that person as the ‘one’ for you long term even if you are attracted. And if you have 7th house connections without the 8th , you might love to be with that person but sometimes it’s like you just can’t ‘reach’ them on a deeper level.

And if the 5th and the 8th are activated but the 7th is not…. You might have an intense attraction to them and want to spill all your personal feelings to them, but you might not want to marry them. If the 5th and the 7th are activated and the 8th is not, this person is exciting and lovable to you but again it might feel like you can reach deeper into the connection. And if the 7th and the 8th are activated but the 5th is not, you really like this person, feel you can trust them, and have a physical attraction, but it’s like that certain exciting spark is missing.

My feeling is that you need all three of the relationship houses activated one way or another to have a complete relationship. And if all of them are not activated it feels like something is ‘missing’.

Having all of them activated is not hard though…. If the 5th and the 7th are strongly activated for instance, all you need is one aspect to the 8th ruler, or one planet in the sign of the 8th house cusp or it’s ruler, and you’re good. Even if you do have all of the relationship houses activated in synastry, different relationships will have slightly different vibes depending on how strongly each is activated, which is part of the fun of life. As long as each one of these houses is touched somehow in synastry there is a chance for a ‘complete’ relationship.

Sometimes it might seem like one of these houses is not influenced when really it is… That’s when I start looking the secondary 5th, 7th and 8th houses…. Perhaps because it is an angular house, the secondary 7th seems to be especially potent, but I’ve noticed that the other ones work as well….

Actually, I’ve got some celebrity examples of the secondary 5th house in action…. Both Claire Danes and Patrick Swayze are/were Virgo risings… They have Capricorn on the 5th house cusp and Pisces on the 7th and yet both have married Gemini Suns…. Claire Danes is an Aries married to Gemini actor Hugh Dancy, and Leo Patrick Swayze had a very long marriage to Gemini Lisa Niemi…. Capricorn symbolically rules the 10th house, which for Virgo is Gemini. To be fair Danes does have Mercury in Pisces in the 7th house, and Swayze has the 8th house ruler in the 3rd house, but other than that there is nothing else in their respective natal charts to tie them to their respective partner’s Sun signs. Something as big in your psyche as the Sun aught to be strongly represented in your partner’s relationship houses. And that was the biggest connection I could find for these two couples.

Gemini rules my 7th H, with Venus there. I attract Gemini planets, but not really Gemini Sun, usually Gemini Moon or Mars.

For 5H Mars... I really don't do well with Aries people in love. Especially Venus in Aries, it bothers my Scorp Venus. Also, my Mars in Cancer doesn't help. It's in the 29th degree and opposite Uranus+Neptune, in the 8th house. I don't really go with Cancer people in love... the Cancer connections I've had have been me healing them, or them wounding me and us healing together, or them opening up to me and us having a soulful connection [I have Moon-conjunct-Chiron].
