I was speaking with another astrologer IRL and she stated that having Saturn in the 8th house was a good placement for making money in the occult. According to her, 8th house ruled the occult, and Saturn was the symbol of the businessman. I really liked that. It is time I start looking seriously at making a career out of all the astrological knowledge I have accumulated. IP: Logged |

Blind Writer,I am a Sag-Sun, too, and Jupiter is my most dignified planet, in rulership in Pisces, in triplicity and i think in term. Also, I have two dispositor trees in my chart, one with Jupiter at the head, ruling my more intellectual planets; the othr with the mutual reception of Moon in Aquarius and Saturn in Cancer at the head, ruling my Moon and Venus. Jupiter and Saturn are trine, and Saturn is actually in the exaltation of Jupiter. So at the end of the day, it is my Jupiter which is calling the shots I think. It feels very difficult to separate these though, as they are in that flowing connection to each other. IP: Logged |

*laugh* Well, if we want to go there, my strongest planets would be Pluto and Venus, which disposit each other. 8H Pluto in Libra, and 9H Venus in Scorpio top my disposit trees. House-wise, 8H Pluto rules the day with 3 planets and my Moon there. IndigoDirae likes to call me an "honorary Scorpio", due to all the Plutonian energy. All that energy is funneled to my Venus, so even though Venus is in detriment in Scorpio, it's still very strong. And Venus lords over both my Jupiter and my Saturn. Of note, Libra also rules the 9H. I have a 10H Sun, which is Saturn's house, but Venus isn't alone in the 9H. I've got a singleton in Cap [squaring Saturn-Jupiter], plus Neptune in Sag. I would say Saturn and Jupiter are on about even footing, with Jupiter having the edge. So even though you and I have completely different configurations, it looks like the Jupiter-Saturn energy is almost the same. In your case, I think it's more about working together hand in hand and very easily and over a broader arena, whereas in my case it's utterly impossible to separate the two and very focalized. I'll call it... Jupiturn. With all that Jovian energy, it's hard not to somehow still be optimistic [but discerning!], even though an 8H Saturn is supposed to be super depressing. Saturn rules over my 12H, Jupiter over my 11H, and the energy is pretty interchangeable. As for 8H matters? Jupiter plays its part, and think Saturn acts as the "reins" to prevent Jupiter from going out of control. Meanwhile, Jupiter prevents me from having any kind of neurosis, lol. IP: Logged |

8th house Saturn here, in Scorpio...oh yes, and it tightly squares my Venus and Moon, plus loosely (8 degree orb) squares my Mars.I take a long time to let people close, very rarely open up "on cue", so to speak. I also love deeply, and don't "get over" my feelings of love and devotion easily. IP: Logged |

*blows out breath* Whew...So glad I'm not the only one living in fear because of this placement. I have body image issues, self esteem issues, I HAD father issues but he did die young (CREEPY), sex issues (been single for 7 years now), issues with my own money (and yeah, sometimes I use my mom's money to buy stuff...but I try to pay her back or at least do something...like get her gas for the car or something).I have Saturn in the 8th House (Sagittarius for me) in Capricorn. Retrograde. Just like Neptune and Uranus. I'm from 1989/Millennial generation. And it's funny because my 7th house ruler is Scorpio, who is the natural ruler of the 8th house. So my 8th and 7th houses are tied in tightly together - and I love Scorpio guys or guys who have the Plutonic flair...but at the same time, I fear intimacy and the fact that a guy can pierce me with his eyes and level me with his gaze. But once I fall in love, that's it. I would only want to be with my soul mate and refuse to settle for anything less - even if that means wasting away for the rest of my life, pining, while he has a karmic life partner and is happy. It's either true love, hot passion, and mischievous mind-melding or nothing at all. Saturn quincunxes my Sun, sextiles my Pluto, conjuncts my Neptune and Uranus, opposes my Mars and Chiron, squares my Lilith, semi-squares my ASC, and bi-quintiles my Mercury. *sigh* I'm also depressed. Don't know what to do with my life. Or I'm too afraid to move in any direction to change. I fear change - I think it has to do with this planet's placement too. Such heavy Saturn energy and I wish it would just go away. As a Gemini with a Gemini stellium (Sun, Moon, Venus, and Jupiter) and an Aquarius Midheaven, I want to be light and airy, not feeling heavy and burdened. I want to be happy, dammit! lol. I want to be a novelist and say, fxck the consequences - I don't need money! But the world doesn't work like that and Saturn is only to happy to give me a swift kick in the guts and remind me that money, unfortunately, makes the world go round. ------------------ "Belief is like laying in the dark with someone and telling them you love them and hearing nothing back." I have it in Aries. I'm not depressed and don't think I'd be prone to it, but as with others, it's hard for me to open up to others. When I let people into my sphere, they are there forever unless they choose to leave. Even then, I'll be committed to them. If you are a friend, I'll always be there. If I've been in a romantic relationship with you, I will probably always have feelings for you. But again, I am very selective and need to really trust the person. My Saturn is Trine Pluto, Sextile Moon, Uranus, Venus, Jupiter, and Neptune, and Opposite Mars. IP: Logged |

My spouse has Saturn in the 8th, but I'm not sure what it means. I don't have Saturn in the 8th, but is ruling my 8th house cusp. Natally Saturn is in my 12th - possibly meaning that my death will occur in a hospital. I'm sure there is a drastic difference between Saturn in it vs ruling it. IP: Logged |

I'm one. Saturn in detriment in Leo, it forms part of my 8th house stellium. I was thinking the same thing when I saw the title of this thread, how on earth are there 34 + replies already BTW I don't like to talk about my 8th house stellium, not only saturn in the 8th house. IP: Logged |

I have Saturn, Uranus and Neptune in the 8th all in lovely ol' Capricorn.....I should write a book for you guys A lot of the things I've experienced growing up are things I don't openly talk about unless you ask or bring up the topic first. The face of death has started peeking it's face but it has helped me not be so afraid of it. I fear that my dad with work himself to death, literally and going to school only left me with a huge dept and no interest in pursuing my degree furthur. My roommate also has these placement and her dad just died last week :/ I have 4 planets in the 8th house, including Venus and I just don't know hahaha. I want deep connections so it's all or nothing. I will have a hard time fully opening up to people unless I feel it which makes me come across as very reserved at times. Once I love something/somet\one I am hooked and completely dedicated to getting to the core. I'm at work so to be continued...... IP: Logged |

Right here! Saturn in Aquarius in the 8th! Saturn is the traditional ruler of Aquarius, so I'm hoping it means a long life. IP: Logged |

Natal Scorpio Saturn at the border of VIII and IX house, both energies influence my chart.I'm a late bloomer foe everything in life. I waited really much to have sex for first time because I had to chose properly who would be my partner. I save my money as if it was my treasure, really frugal and this is a big positive issue for me. I also have a psychic mind and can anticipate situations, I'm very good at the occult, as my Saturn is conjunct Libra Pluto VIII house, both square Aquarius 12th house Mars.
I have been very luck at receiving scholarships, presents, money from others ven others resources. IP: Logged |

Saturn in the 8th in Pisces. God help me. I hate it. It drains your hope. It sets you up and you think it's finally someone to stay and then he rips it away. My father was killed when I was 9.IP: Logged |

My friend has saturn and moon in 8th - her saturn is in pisces, her father has alcohol issues, idk about sexuality but as long as i know her and its 5 years she was not in relationship, she had a fling with a guy but did not tell me about it,only after it ended - she likes older men and was linked to boss few times bit i dont know if there was something, she is VERY desirable, like most men and most of them are older approach her - her moon rules her asc so she does look very sexy and they praise her beauty but i gotta say i am uncomfortable with the way they do it, it dosent look like they are in love sith her but simply attracted to her looks and behaviour idk i think she deserves better. In one hand she seems very reserved in other very open sexualy, quite hard to explain - due to moon in 8th i know she hides alot of real personal emotions, because i do to - when we realy like someone we keep it private. Also her fathers friends and coworkers approach her ofter, her mothers surgeon too - older married men IP: Logged |

Sort of Saronna. Rather, more specifically, Cayce's guidance linked different nonphysical dimensions to being "represented" and "symbolized" by our different Planets that we observe here in the physical. Another way of saying dimension is, major consciousness level or state of being. In the Cayce work, it was shortly summarized on occasion to be like the following (from the slowest to fastest vibratory). Saturn as being connected to (Soul) death (because the Soul has so cut itself off from Light and Source), Mars being that dimension of wrath/anger, Earth of course being this 3rd, "physical" dimension of "mixing" and blending (of many different wavelengths and vibratory patterns), Pluto being that of "consciousness" but was also linked as being close to the activities in the earth (i.e. often more slow vibratory than not), Mercury being that of mind/mental (which I have figured out corresponds more specifically to the level/dimension that some call the "akashic records"), Venus being that of "love" (but in a more personal and Like attracts, begets, resonates with and likes Like sense), Uranus being that of the extremes, psychic, and the unusual (linked to the "after experience" of a Soul being destroyed by itself in Saturn, and presumably the Expanded/Higher self creating a new Soul with some of the memories/energitics of that Soul in it that no longer exists as a freewilled being), Neptune being that of the mystic and the "many waters" (whatever is meant by that), Jupiter being that of universal consciousness, spiritual strength, and the ennobling level--more specifically linked to where more experienced/practiced guides/helper types hang out, and Sun being that of the "infinity forces" and closest in our little system to that of God/Source consciousness (and I have figured out, this is where the guides/helpers that are fully consciously in touch with their Expanded/Higher selves are found at). Arcturus and Polaris as being the two main gateways or portals to other greater, and faster vibratory systems than this one. Moon was not given a specific dimension per se, but I have figured out that it corresponds to that state of earthbound souls that some call "ghosts". Basically sort of in between physical and nonphysical. Not really fully physically focused, but neither fully nonphysically focused either. If say dimensions were like colors on a color wheel, and if say Earth was like the color green and Venus was the color blue, then Moon would be like green blue or blue green i.e. in between/blended--partaking of both and yet not truly one or the other. Actually, colors can be connected to dimensions, to Planets, and to the human aura symbolically. But that is a whole other big topic. I was not being literal with connecting green to Earth and blue to Venus--just a hypothetical example. But Cayce's guidance was not saying that we go to the other Planets in any kind of physical sense. They just symbolically "stand in for" those other dimensions, as a reference or contextual base (basis?) for us inphysical, humans. In truth, these various dimensions are not "without" us, but rather, all Higher/Expanded selves directly involved with this system have all of these dimensions within themselves in a simultaneous sense. And in a sense, all of these various Soul selves that it creates and projects, are all having their experiences simultaneously, but this is too much for the human mind to truly and fully comprehend. Hence, we have to kind of look at it in a more linear and case by case basis, because that is our direct experience/perception when we are focused in this 3rd dimension that is connected to the Earth, which in and of itself, is also a "symbol" in the grand scheme of things. The physical earth will eventually not exist, and I don't mean in the physics sense of in billions of years the Sun will expand and engulf the Earth. I mean that when enough Expanded/Higher selves and their Soul parts/aspects have experienced what they need in relation to Earth and this system, this dimension will blink/wink out of existence in the physical sense. There will still remain a nonphysical "memory" or "database" for it, but in a computer type analogy, it will be virtual/sandboxed, and sort of a reflection of a reflection. Not a true, core OS anymore. (maybe not the best nor most accurately put analogy though). IP: Logged |
