Hey Everyone!

I was thinking a lot about the signs and in astrology cookbooks they always mention that Sagittarius placements have double marriages, or LOVE to be bachelors....that Scorpios want to merge with their significant others and that Libra sun/ascendants view the world as if everyone is a potential partner.

And Aquarius? Well....they ALWAYS say Aquarius is not marriage bound at all--especially the men.

But, what would you make of someone who is an Aquarius Sun, with a moon in Sagittarius who been looking for his significant other and WANTS to be married? I mean, someone who is ALL about being married and takes it very seriously?

What signs/ placements/ or ASC would you expect?

I vote for Libra rising.....(cliche I know! :-) Some 7th house placements of course also.

In general, what are your thoughts on men who are all about marriage and partnerships (not one night stands, hook-ups,etc--the real deal!)

:-)

I've noticed Sagittarius men tend to be players/bachelors.I have a sag first cousin he is very handsome educated.34 never been married no kids and has lot of female friends.

I dated an Aquarius man briefly for a few months he was allover the place had horrible communication. He was very much a free spirit type of guy he was 33 never been married no kids.I don't see it changing for him anytime soon.

I feel men with lots water and earth placements are more open to commitment and marriage. Also you gotta look at his natal aspects as well.If you see and hard Venus/Uranus aspects in natal chart, run he may have difficulties committing no matter how many earth/water placements in his chart.

Well, considering I am one of those men .

I do have heavy 7th house placements, 4 personal planets.

Also my Sun is in Leo, and Moon in Scorpio, enough said .

Look to see how saturn works in the chart.

Saturn in the 6th is loyality position when not badly afflicted as saturn in the sixth provides duty to laws, morality etc.

I have a 38 year old male friend, Scorp sun, Aqua moon, Sag venus, Aries Mars and Cap rising. Has always lived alone and always will. Definately NOT celibate! But will never settle down, very happy to be alone.

The guy I am dating...who doesn't like any labels at all even "dating" even "seeing each other" even "talking" ALL OF THEM! Is all water and earth. Besides his n. node in Aquarius.
And his moon is in the 7th house...but then his sun and mercury oppose it.

Sometimes I wonder wtf!?

But I don't really mind that much for right now...I am not one that likes to jump into relationships anymore. Knowing someone for two days and then making it fb official, and already saying "I love you" when it's only been a week. When they haven't even seen your wost side yet. I like to know what I'm getting myself into. haha
I'm more about actions being louder than words. And I like seeing and knowing who I can stand the tests of time with someone now of days.

But yeah, I do want that American dream of getting married, having kids down the road.

Hey guess what I have in the 7th house guys!?
...
My DC! lol and that's it.
Also being an Aries Sun born in the year of the Metal Horse...I read a lot of astrology advice not to settle down young. haha

Personally i love aquarius sun and sag moon combination, they crave that friendship factor plus sag moon is opposite my moon. The thing with aquarius placements is if you dont have the friendship foundation with a Aquarius heavy person their not going to value your feelings. Friendship is sort of the ultimate bond for Aquarius heavy people in general but if there isn't a mind body soul chemistry between you and them it's not gonna last. Ultimately for some Aquarius heavy people you have to be the end all their could ever possibly be. You have to be the one, you have to be the bestfriend with all of the correct chemistry that they can't live without.

Some sort of Scorpio would probably help i think.Maybe a Mars in Scorpio? or another strong Mars.

My partner has a mars in scorpio, and a venus in Aqua, i think his strong mars trumps that independent Aqua. His 7th house ruler is Sag as well.He is crazy about marriage and having kids. And he is a Pisces!

Me on the other hand, I have Aqua in the 7th house, and it makes me fear marriage on many levels. My mars is quite weak, in pisces.Idk a lot about astrology but i think you need a strong mars for serious unions.

First of all - men who are both social and fixed... so that's Leo and Scorpio!
They will 90% of the time - choose to get married.

Secondly - the feminine-influence men - Taurus, Libra and Cancer.

& That's all. No one else wants to get married.

I think it depends on the chemistry/synastry quite a bit.

I have always had an easier time getting Sagittarius and Aqua men to commit to a long-term relationship with me. Guys who are Scorpios, Libras and Pisceans have refused to commit to me, and Cancers I've always sensed wanted a commitment with me but I tend to not be attracted to their essence at all. Cappies - mixed results. I'm usually not all that attracted to them, sometimes the feeling is mutual.

I should note that I am saying long-term relationship. Because 99% of the guys I know of every sun sign are not thinking about marriage. I think a lot of it is financial, and a lot of it is cultural/generational. Americans in general value marriage more than we do here in Canada.

Sometimes I think that regardless of their charts, EVERYONE (male of female) has a yearning for lasting love somewhere in their hearts. Maybe they have a hard time finding it because of trust issues, love of personal freedom, and what not. But that doesn’t mean that they don’t long for it. Most people want to get married eventually, even if not right now. Usually everyone has a vision of what they want for a partnership.

i would expect to see most planets in houses 4-7, and a lot of the 'feeling' asteroids (like ceres, juno) in a watery sign like pisces, which can be dreamy and romantic. and perhaps a venus in an earth sign.

The men better have a loaded 2nd house for themselves, and an 8th house for their wives. lol

Odette,
Would you include Pisces as feminine influence?
& What would you say for the women, or is it the same combo?
