I was quite the clown when I grew up but then something happened and I became very shy. As for hopes and dreams, yes, I feel discouraged and very insecure but most of all just frustrated since I know what I want to do I could do very, very well.

Yeah, that would. But only in expressing ideas verbally, as i am good at drawing, for example, and writing as well. Lets say - i have good imagination. My NN also here, so i'll just have to overcome my Saturn placement. IP: Logged |

Makes sense. If it is verbal does Saturn do anything to Mercury like make a square or opposition?

i can feel guilty and have difficulty enjoying fun or being creative (which counts as fun for me) when i know there is other things to do. i'm always feeling they have to be done first. 2ndly, i'm plagued with many self doubts about my creative ability, i'm essentially afraid of trying. it doesnt help having mr saturn square the moon and venus, with practical mars/mercury in virgo siding with it against the fire. Yep, a square, although pretty wide one, but still. I guess it's not so tough , 6 degrees. I'm not basically very shy and non-talkative, i can talk a lot if i want to. IP: Logged |

6 degrees makes sense as it is more ambient. I have this with Moon conj Mars. I am cool most of the time, but once in a while, I lose it ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

Yep, sounds hard. What is funny is that I have an easy chart and I feel I have so many things to overcome. I can't imagine a hard chart. HOWEVER, mine gets hard when next to my mothers in synastry. Then, it gets quite hard. I don't really know what to make of this, as my struggles with my mother should have shown in the natal more. I guess they did in the Child Asteroid which is conjunct Deja but at 4 degrees, thank Goodness. I don't know why my relationship with my mother did not show up in my chart( without looking at the synastry with her) Any ideas? ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Oh wow I'm the only one so far with Saturn in the 1st house. Saturn is also conjunct Uranus in the 1st H in Sagittarius. I come across as reserved and tend to hold myself back at times and people often remark that I'm quiet, but more then anything I'm just introspective. IP: Logged |

So Vertiver Does Saturn dampen Uranus so you are afraid to show you are unique and afraid to show you are different, maybe afraid people will think you are weird.------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

Saturn in Libra/5'th House.talked a little about it - http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum24/HTML/215016.html ...that was also my return to Astrology after a 4 months break - and back then, I was dealing with Saturn in more ways then one - was dealing with a form of anxiety/depression and even tho - i already dabbled with western astrology version back in February, at the time when i made that topic - i found that vedic interpretation "which seemed appropriate for my mood" - couldn't think clearly cause of the state i was in, yet that applied mostly to "positive thinking" - cause i was doing pretty well at finding sources (mostly - unjustified) - that could lower my morale even more... ...as stated in that topic - art is an important part of my life, yet even when i try something "for fun" - i take to serious...

Hi amiann, I've always wondered about saturn in the 2nd house too as most of the astrology descriptions re struggle with money also do not apply to me. My saturn is in Gemini and I guess if anything I can be both generous and frugal with money. I am definitely not attached to money/possessions but maybe a little careless? I don't think I have major self esteem issues anymore but did when I was in my teens. If you have any suggestions, I would like to learn more about this placement as this lesson seems to evade me...IP: Logged |

Well, the money woes don't relate to me. I am not too frugal or too generous. I am pretty balanced with money. I have an earth void, so maybe I am not earth bound. I have had to build my self esteem up from a low place, so the self esteem part fits with me. For you, if neither fits, are you sure your chart is right, time wise? If so, maybe you just really matured, fast ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

Is the NN is the 3rd. If so, mastering the 3rd house and it's sign is one of your life purposes. Does Neptune or Uranus conjunct Saturn. If so, how close? ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

I, too, have Saturn in the 2nd. I have never had money problems. My father, although frugal in many respects, set me up to have a decent career so that I could take care of myself. I also ended up with a husband who made decent money. I should do ok in the divorce. I am generous with others, like I think Ami is, because I have been blessed and I can afford to be. I am not obsessed with making the bank account grow. If I can help someone out now, I will. Definitely have had huge issues with self esteem since pre-adolescence. Body issues, and feeling like I'm not fun enough, not bubbly enough, not popular enough. The poster who wrote about being on the beach in shorts and a t-shirt... that's very similar to me. And the joke is, looking back on it, I was relatively good looking in my earlier years. Definitely didn't appreciate that in myself back then. IP: Logged |

Saturn in the 8th would be a struggle with your deepest emotions and passions. Saturn in the 9th would be a struggle with your spirituality/ religion/ God. This may be a struggle with higher education, too.------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

mine's in the 1st house. i really don't like this aspect. it's great for job interviews, but i feel it hinders me socially, compared to the rest of my chart. IP: Logged |
