My Saturn is in the second house. This seems kind of strange to me, as I have not had financial troubles, but rather an ease, in this area. Ceri said that the 2nd house can be a house of self esteem. I have struggled, a great deal, with trying to lift up my self esteem from childhood abuse. So, perhaps, Chiron in the 2nd House may be financial woes, whereas Saturn may be struggles, with eventual maturity and the ability to overcome. What do you think? I put that out there for discussion, as we are looking at both Chiron and Saturn in the Houses. This should be interesting. Can't wait to hear from you ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

I think saturn in the second relates to being very careful with your money/ possessions. I have saturn in aries retro in my 5th - I'm a late bloomer -for sure! . Also, I have major body image hang-ups.IP: Logged |

Interesting about Saturn in the 5th. Do you have a hard time letting your hair down and having fun? Like being free and laughing etc? ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

Saturn in the 2nd can indicate frugality.

I feel guarded in certain situations or, instinctively, with certain people. I have major body issues so I have a hard time letting go that way... Kind of like "lights out so I don't have to see you cringe" kind of a thing. What I've noticed as I've gotten older is that I had an amazing body at 20, even though I seriously thought I looked hideous. Now, at 43 I really do look hideous ... Lol, but I'm sure at 60, I'll look back and think differently. Anyway, I'm the chick at the beach with shorts and a t-shirt instead of being comfortable and confident in a bathing suit. IP: Logged |

I am not frugal. I am very generous. I give so much of what I earn away to people with needs. It must be the self esteem thing, for me, as the financial does not fit.------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

Maybe frugal isn't the right word, maybe careful is a better description. I have a friend with saturn in the second and he is very generous/ helpful. He is also very good about managing his money. IP: Logged |

Saturn is in my 9th house in pisces No idea how this will manifest in my life though. I hope it doesn't affect travel lol, I've been to a few states growing up without problems and I'd love to travel abroad as much as I can before I die. As far as religion and philosophy go, I haven't had any major things pop out that I can think of. I will say though growing up we often changed churches because of the atmosphere (some places people would always be looking and putting on a show and we once had a pastor that pretty much said if you don't tithe "God doesn't like you"... I believe that guy was caught in a scandal later on for stealing money lol). Thats all I can think of as far as my saturn though :l My 7th house ruler is in the 9th as well as my 9th house ruler is in the 7th so I'm sure sure saturn will influence that. IP: Logged |

Frugality meant living frugally. If you're giving away so much of what you earn to people in need, that would leave less for you. IP: Logged |

Okay, from Chiron on to Saturn. These are some pretty heavy topics for myself today, lol.I have Saturn in Aquarius in the tenth house. I am a lone wolf, by all means. I just really enjoy my alone time, but I haven't quite found a great group of friends either. My best friend and I grew apart within the past year because our interests diverged and neither one of us really made the effort to maintain our friendship. It sucks, but truthfully, it doesn't bother me too much. Not yet, anyways. I mean, sometimes I get lonely, but I find something else to do, like watch a movie or read a book. I've always read that Saturn in the tenth house means intense ambition, but that doesn't really hold true for me. I don't have material goals, just some sort of security at the very least. However, I really don't know what I want to do as far as careers go, so maybe that's how my Saturn is manifesting? I don't know... I also have Sun square Saturn and Moon conjunct Saturn. My parents are probably the single greatest source of conflict in my life, at least at this moment. There is a lot of pressure from them to succeed (become a doctor, engineer, etc.), but I know that isn't what I want. Sun square Saturn... my father's always been a bit of a burden. He's hardworking, but neglects his health and was a drug addict for most of my life, so there was always that fear of losing him. Lately, he's been especially critical of me because I transferred out of a great university back home to minimize my debt. Where my parents are concerned, it feels as though my self-worth is tied into their expectations for me. Now, Moon conjunct Saturn... I repress my emotions because of my mother. I couldn't ever really confide in her without facing ridicule or mockery as though my feelings weren't valid, just entertainment for her. There's also a fixed t-square in my chart between my Sun, Saturn, and Pluto. I'm not even going to try to get into it, because I'm not even sure what it means, lol. IP: Logged |

Well, that is what I am saying. Money is not an issue for me, one way or another. I am comfortable and I am generous. That is why my Saturn in the 2nd house does not make sense with financial issues. It must be a self esteem indicator. ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

Actually, I have two planets which make hardly any aspects and one which is unaspected. My venus is unaspected. Saturn makes a 8 degree trine to the moon, only.
The moon makes a 9 degree conjunction with Mars, only.

I have Saturn in 5th, i wouldn't say that i have problems with having fun, laughing, etc. Rather i have problems with expressing my feelings to people i love, letting them into my life, close to me... they are important to me but i can't tell them that. I am creative and have good ideas but then there is self doubt about these ideas and i can just not tell about them, when somebody else comes up with them, they are actually received by others as great.
