To me, a non manly man is a Mars in Cancer man. I don't mean to diss anyone. I have Mars in Cancer and if there were two of me, no one would get off the sofa to pick up the remote

I actually much prefer sensitive men with predominant Yin energy over one-dimensional macho assholes.

Femininity in a man is actually a real turn on for me. Not flaming gay man feminine, but a nice harmonious balance.
My boyfriend of 8 years is a Virgo Sun, Venus and Mars and an Aqua ascendant. He has a well-rounded brain, and his emotional and mental diversity keeps me interested and satisfied. He's super nice and sweet, but I've never mistaken that for weakness. He's the strongest man I know.
He's also damn smart. A creative genius really, and the most intelligent men who have ever lived have always been very much in touch with their feminine energies.

When it comes down to it, the ones who always have to appear strong and dominating, are really the weakest of all... and the least intelligent.

My ex-boyfriend's chart, but don't look at the ASC as I don't know what time he was actually born!

He was hardly a manly man... Can you see something in his chart which is so feminine?

Virgos do seen to have a rep for seeming very feminine. I've never known a Virgo with a Libra moon; however, one of my close friends is always being mistaken for being attracted to men and he's a Virgo with an Aquarius moon. Maybe the feminine, earth signs combined with air gives that femininity? And what about Virgos opposite sign, Gemini? I would consider them pretty androgynous--could go two ways, either really feminine or masculine.

My little brother who loves girly things and high heels has double Pisces influence with his Sun and Moon there. I've also noticed that Pisces men lean toward a more feminine side, too.

Moon in Libra? Um...no. Mine is there and I'm more of a man than most actual men.

Well, I once went out with a Virgo who definitely could pass the less manly test. In fact, he was downright fussy in an almost old grandmother kind of way. Didn't do it for me.

You are Leo, and at least *some*--not all--of the Leo women I've ever met seem to really like those "Marlboro Man" kind. Maybe that's it? A little of both? You like them a bit more rugged, and Virgo, well, they're not necessarily the most macho sign of the zodiac.

Not true. You have to look at the entire chart. I have sun mercury, NN and dsc all in Leo, but also four planets in LIBRA, and I like a combination of the two. A dude that's pretty but at the same time, still masculine-looking, like this :

Pisces Moon? There could be some truth, because as I looked at the chart I posted above, I realized my ex has Moon in Pisces and maybe that's why he always acted like a little girl (which I didn't like)...

To me there are two types of Virgo men.
The Keanu Reeves type and the Peter Sellers type.
Both have Sun and Ascendant in Virgo. Many Virgo men I know resemble one or the other a bit.

Neither is a "manly" man. But I wouldn't call them feminine either.

I was once with a male cross dresser with those placements so that may be the case after all. But at the time I attributed it to his Sag Uranus (like me he had a lot of Sag, and we both had Sag Uranus) as that's about freedom from restrictions and can lead to a radical rejection of it (including of gender roles). He wasn't gay, btw (bi-curious at most), or even interested in have gender reassignment surgery done, he just liked being girly (more than me actually) and dressing up like a woman. And I think he was drawn to me because I was so tomboyish at the time. I wish now in retrospect that I'd thought to look at where his asteroids were but I didn't pay attention to asteroids back then.

I knew another guy heavily influenced by Pisces and while there was nothing overtly feminine about him (and he had a Libra Sun) he was more passive and easygoing than usual and liked bossy women...not that he was passive, he just liked to be able to know a woman's mind without guessing or games. He's a Libra so would try to find some balance. And given how he looked, a few women were attracted to him because they thought he was macho and perhaps abusive, but those type of women left him cold.

idk about Pisces moon my twin has that and he is very manly and masculine, also my step bro is a Virgo and while I wouldnt call him super macho he def isnt fem either. I think that when people talk about feminine and masculine energies its not necessarily whats on the outside, it may be their thinking or there outlook or their reactions to things. Its not suprise that Aries woman are called masculine but you could never tell by the way I look, as I am very fem in that way but my aqua friend told me i am masculine in my thinking.
