here's whats interesting to me, I'm 6'3 and weigh 240 pounds, dress like a normal guy, act like a normal guy except I don't try to act tough all the time, and I am not popular with women lol. the women in my age group tend to go for guys who have a condition I term little man syndrome, they try to pull off a tough persona but I don't buy it lol. lots of guys have admitted to me that they would not try to fight me and if they were in a fight they would want me on their side. But I'm generally a laidback guy and try not to go looking for fights, so I'm not manly enough.lol

You just wanna slap em up and tell them to spit or something just to remember you're on a date and not at a baby shower... But, of course, their spit and saliva smells of summer's eve.

what's interesting to me is most women have a fantasy of a man just taking charge and pushing her against a wall and kissing her passionately or something along those lines. but the problem with that is we pretty much have to guess if its appropriate to do that, because if we guess wrong we could be in deep sh!t. women can be pretty hard to read at times, atleast they are for me. lmao

Umm... Matter of fact, I have had one martini tonight, but no, I'm sober enough. I'd be misspelling a lot more if I were really drunk.

You're still young. Don't worry so much!!

I dont consider fighting or starting fights as masculine...
Being able to handle the situation and take charge of it, and walking away from it..
I would be way more attracted to that..

I dont want a bruit. Masculine is a description of the way he carries him self..

lol oh ok. most women seem to like that stuff an awful lot so everytime I hear a woman bring up manliness that's what I automatically think of.

Amen.

To be fair, I'd like to point out that a person can be a balance of masculine and feminine.

Since Virgo-Libra influenced guys have been mentioned a lot, my experiences:

I knew a Virgo with a Libra moon who was definitely masculine, especially with his sense of humor (very crass at times and fond of swearing), but also cultured, kind, and intelligent. Very, very snarky and sarcastic, but had a good heart.

I know one other person who is both Libra and Virgo-influenced (Virgo sun), but has a Scorpio ascendant and fire moon. That one is certainly no doormat, doesn't let anyone walk over him, and, while patient, doesn't take crap from people when they cross the line into disrespecting him.

I know two other Libra-influenced guys who often appear gentle, but are still masculine. Both of them have at least one planet in Virgo too--one of them is actually a lot like the Virgo sun/Libra moon guy in some ways, though less crass.

I would say that those people are more of a civilized masculine kind of type. Not the Paul Bunyan or Hemingway kind of "macho", and not brutish, dumb, and caveman-like, but still very masculine.

I tend to get annoyed when people think that any guy who isn't a "me Tarzan you Jane" type is a sissy or somehow "less of a man". I personally find caveman types repulsive.

In thinking of my favorite male fictional characters, I would say that most fall into the category of intelligent, classy, but still very masculine types. Not usually metrosexual (though I do have a few of those as favorites characters/friends/acquaintances), but able to appreciate the finer things in life and still have a very masculine energy. Some would even fall into the category of badass.

I'm not a rat, but if I dated (I don't), I would have high standards too. I think that all women should, to be honest.

While it's important to not be nit-picky about things to an extreme level, it's also important to know what you want and be highly selective so that you don't end up with a bad person. Balance is key. I think that instead of women lowering the bar and just taking whatever they can get, women should raise the bar and be particular about whom they let into their lives and with whom they are vulnerable. I've just seen too many women put up with bad guys and pay the price for it. Thus, I think it's better for women to use their heads and be very picky about guys so that they don't end up in bad situations, especially given how hard it is to get out of those situations once you're there.

I've seen how having low standards and putting up with bad behavior ruins people's lives. I figure I'd rather learn from other people's mistakes than make them myself.

Personally, I'm content to stay out of the whole big mess and hassle of dating. Relationships fascinate me academically (Libra MC and other placements, plus Chiron in the 7th), but personally, I find being single a satisfying way to live.

Didn't he cause someone to go blind? He's done some really horrible things, and yet he gets to just live his life like it never happened.

Personally, I myself would not want to meet him or anyone like him.
