OMG! I was just about to say Aquarius! Again, like you said this is all very general...

But I am quite the commitment girl with strong Saturn in my Chart, but I also have strong Uranus/Aquarius in my chart...

Moon in 1st in Aquarius and Sun // Uranus and few other aspects...I get bored quite easily. I'm happily married, but if we get too stuck in mundane schedule, I have been known to get a little dramatic...I get bored doing the same things over and over...

I would also think strong Sag aspects too could produce this...Freedom loving, philosophical, exploratory...

Suprisingly Taurus too...because part of their incarnation is to develop a strong sense of self and that might be why some Taurus seem slow to commit.

Yeah aquarius Hates routine and gets tired of it easily , i would believe aquarius is the lover that is not 'always' all gushy mushy when theyre with their partners i would even think that when the partner needs too much attention aquarius would start getting annoyed ,same with jealus partners, they can feel how their freedom is being taken away from them.

haha or thats what i think, i am aquarius moon annd ascendant

Moon/Uranus or Venus/uranus I'd say are the most obvious. Although not always, of course. For example, my dad has Venus conjunct Uranus in Leo oppose his Aqua moon and as far as I know he's never cheated on my mother (I am fairly certain on this, at least since I've been old enough to observe these things), and they've been married for 31 years now.

I wonder what everyone's first thought was...

Mine was "c*nt" but then i said: "nah, it's in 2.0.. It's probably about conjunctions".

I disagree, aquarius is fixed and fixed signs like stability. I'm an aqua sun, ascendant, and venus and I don't have any fear of commitment or intimacy. its just I need breathing room , if I have that I'm fine, if I don't I run.

Yeah I was about to say I have Moon trine Uranus, and an Aries stellium in the 11th which adds a little Aquarius flavor (or so I was told.)

Sagittarius, Aries, Aquarius, Gemini, and Pisces ruling the 7th house or having some affiliation with it maybe? I have Sag ruling my 7th house too with Uranus sitting pretty in there at 5.20 degrees.

I don't understand why romantic commitment makes me choke so much. I want it, and I think I'd be a good girlfriend. I'm an EXCELLENT friend (sorry, getting a little Aries here boasting.) and have kept the same friends for years but for whatever reason (Uranus most likely) my romantic partners are never in my life that long. One was for a whole year but it was dramatic and I don't look back on that fondly. I feel like I'm destined for flings and nothing serious, even though I find the stability in that very attractive and appealing.

EDIT: Maybe it's not the commitment that scares me, just the emotional intimacy! I constantly wonder what it's like for the girls who find guys that are devoted and trustworthy.

Commitment issues...look to Venus aspects with Uranus, Neptune and look to the ruler of the Fourth, and maybe Seventh.

Shmeh. The most dominant signs in my chart are Sagittarius and Aquarius and I tend to seek out commitment.

I also have an "afflicted" 7th house... Saturn and Uranus conjunct DSC, I also have Neptune in there. My dsc is even in Sagittarius, another sign notorious for wanting freedom and its ruler is in Aries, another independent sign.

Maybe my Libra Moon is trumping everything.

Venus in Scorpio
Moon in Sagittarius
Sun in Capricorn...

my Venus doesn't make any Saturn contacts..actually it only makes pleasant aspects, like trine Mars, conj ASC, trine Jupiter, but it does square my MC..

my Moon is conj Saturn..don't know if that has anything to do with it.

What i personally think is going on is that I have a LOT of Sagittarius/Jupiter influence, and I think I just want to be free and unattached, always.

It's your moon that's doing that.

Air needs stimulation. I find Aquarius can be very committed when it wants to be. With Sagittarius, a sign that seeks and chases, it makes sense to me you crave commitment until you're bored (which also sounds like Libra.)

Hmmm...

I have
-Venus Square Saturn
-Moon Square Uranus
-Venus opposite Neptune
All within 5 degrees.

-Sun square Uranus (Wide)

Nope, not afraid of commitment but afraid of commitment to the wrong person.

I don't get people who are afraid of commitment. How many live times do you think you will get to experience a deep and lasting bond with one person?
Isn't relating and coexisting the reason why we are born? How would you evolve your soul if you are afraid to satisfy such a basic human need? To belong, to be loved, to share, to create...

My Saggie nature is fickle and ever searching but relationships have so many stages, ups and downs, joys and sorrows... I want to experience ALL of them. How would I do that if I don't bond with my partner, if I don't give it all I got?

It's sad to live on the surface of feelings and never reach the depths only long term relationships offer.

Strictly my opinion.

My chart:
Saturn in a grand trine with Chiron and Mercury. Saturn square Venus. Saturn co-rules my Asc.

I understand your plight, but in my instance it's a fear of being vulnerable and probably has to do with my self-esteem. I'm willing to be people who have a fear of commitment aren't afraid of someone else but what the commitment will bring out in themselves.

Hanna, this is not directed at you.

Life is too short. I no longer have time or patience for fear of commitment. Things either work out or they don't. If someone takes my most exposed and vulnerable self and throws it to the wolves - then they are not for me. It's OK. I get up and I try again. Hopefully wiser and more cautious but still without fear.
