Ice Queen? Seriously? She's never struck me as icy, more as one of those people who feigns that whole "I don't care" schtick because they think it makes them look tough and intimidates people - self-defense mechanism, basically. Especially in the young.

The ironic thing is that that is one of the things I like about it, it is progressing with a more natural flow. I have had the "fast" experience before and that never ends well .

Ummm I think you misinterpreted my intention with that statement

I called her "Ice Queen" because she called herself that towards me in a previous thread. It is sort of an inside joke . I was in no way insulting her.

Anyways, I don't see how age is relevant?

She'll touch you more, play with your hair, touch your arm etc. She won't flinch like a crab surprised in the sand if you touch her. She's be more emotionally comfortable with you, cancers of have a tenacity of feeling other people can't feel is deep as they can or they can't understand the depth of their personality therefore they console instead of letting themselves be consoled by someone else.

She won't mind taking time out from her personal "shell" to spend time with you. Cancers love alone time, so if she's willing to cut her own alone time in order to be with you, she probably likes you.

Also she has told me about a lot of the bad things that have happened in her past, would you say that is a sign? or is she still being platonic? I am talking about really deep and painful experiences here. When she talks about them though she doesn't get emotional or anything, so I'm not sure. Maybe she is testing to see how I react to them?

Well I guess I am doing better than I may have thought . I have handled everything she has brought up just fine so far, I think she is slowly presenting the depth of what has happened to her to me. She may think if she presents it too quickly I will be scared off?

I'm like that too.

I would say that it's for a few reasons:

--I've already gotten emotional about them before.

--If I tell someone about things, I usually have been planning to do so for awhile, so I'm prepared and have rehearsed it mentally.

--I don't like crying in front of people.

--Sometimes when things hurt I feel numb, empty, detached, and lifeless. Other times I feel intense. Sometimes I feel both at different times.

I agree it is not that long, but I have seen her quite a bit in that amount of time.

The reasons you stated are interesting, I think she is probably a little bit of all of them . If she has been rehearsing it mentally then she is amazing at delivery because it seemed to me that all of it was on the fly. Would you say that Cancer women plan things like that often? (assuming you are a Cancer )

Also, what in your opinion would be signs I should look for? Good or bad.

Besides puppies and laughing (two points that admittedly work for me ) I would just make sure that what you say and what you do are the same thing. Don't try to impress her with something if it's not you - it will backfire.

And honestly, if she really likes you, trust me, you'll know

I'm not a Cancer sun, but a Cancer moon.

As for planning, I do tend to do that with personal revelations. I think a lot about it in my head (and, in general, enjoy imagining/wondering how I would handle hypothetical situations, so I do think about things a lot; my mind is just always active, even when I'm so lazy that I don't even want to use the microwave lol--I go back and forth between being a burn-the-candle-at-both-ends person and being a couch potato; it alternates depending on my mood and the situation/day).
