It probably sounds silly but how do I know which planet aspects my moon tightly? Would it be Saturn because it's technically the closest one to my moon?

If you have Moon at 9 degrees of Taurus, then the planet in closest aspect to your Moon is Neptune at 12 degrees of Capricorn, next closest is Saturn at 13 degrees of Capricorn, and the furthest away would be Uranus 5 degrees of Capricorn.

There are 30 degrees in a sign, the planets said to be most closely aspecting each other, share the same degrees with each other, or at least a degree close in numerical value. If you have the Moon at 9 degrees of Taurus, then the closes aspect possible to your Moon will come from other planets at 9 degrees in their respective signs. Planets at 9 degrees Leo make a perfect square to your Moon, planets at 9 degrees Capricorn my a perfect trine to your Moon.

I'm sure going to pay attention any time you post, Lotis White! Thank you for the lesson!

So, since Neptune is the strongest aspect. Oh, wow. For a long time I was attracted to guys who were under my league. I don't mean that there is such a thing as being more unattractive physically, etc. I mean these guys were in and out of jail, came from dysfunctional single-parent homes (not that I think single parent homes are dysfunctional! I'm speaking of these guys in particular), had no plans or goals, did drugs, drank beer, and partied a lot. I had a knack for singling out pot smoking drummers in high school. Me, on the other hand I wasn't a straight A student but I wasn't into drugs, and tended to like hanging out with friends one on one vs. in groups or parties. High school "parties" were extremely boring to me. I was also more emotionally mature than about 80% of the guys I was into. I loved guys who couldn't love me back properly, and who sent me mixed but encouraging signals. I was also willing to help them however I could if they needed it!

My taste in guys now... I'm actually kind of digging more sensitive guys now. I attract a lot of gay guys (not all gay guys are "sensitive" but I hope you can see the big picture of what I mean) I moved away from those who experimented with drugs and towards those who were creative, full of variety, and more polite. I like guys who want to help others, now and who show compassion. I haven't drooled over a Pisces sun yet though.

Awesome, so now your starting to embrace the positive side of Neptune in the 7th rather then the negative side of this placement.

My DSC is Gemini.

Personally, I don't really want to date 99% of the time. I don't feel a need for it. I don't feel a desire for it, emotionally, physically, or otherwise.

Even when I fall into the other 1%, and wonder what it would be like to date, something always happens to bring me back to the non-dating stance, though, so I don't take that 1% seriously. I genuinely feel content to be single 99% of the time. To me, this is a sign from God that being single is the right path for me (I've prayed about it a lot).

The other 1% is more curiosity/wondering than anything else.

Again, something always happens to remind me of why this number is so low. The more I learn about people and relationships and what people are REALLY like, and how psycho they can be/how dangerous relationships can be, the less I want one and the more relieved I am that I am single. The types of people who approach me are bad-news kinds of people. I'd rather not end up on a Dateline special, thanks.

For friends and other acquaintances, since I don't date, I do notice that I really need for people that I consider friends to communicate. People who can't be bothered to do that get on my last nerve. It just irritates me. That's really the only really big Gemini thing that strongly stands out to me as being something important in interpersonal dealings with friends and family and other non-romantic acquaintances.

Hi Regardes,

Yes, I believe I've read many posts before by you about never wanting to have romantic relationships at all. I apologize if this is too personal a question, but have you ever been 'in love' or even just had a crush? Was there a particular bad experience that put you off romantic relationships? Was there a difficult transit associated with this? You don't have to explain the details if you'd prefer not to.

I myself am very conservative in love, and am not interested in sleeping around and such, but I'll admit that I do dream of finding love with a real good man, and still hope for this (haven't found the right guy yet).

I have Gemini DSC, zero 7th house planets. Mercury in Scorpio, square 8H Cancer Mars, trine 3H Pisces Saturn. Mercury falls in the 11th house.

I can say I'm most attracted to guys with Aquarian influences whether it's their ASC or DSC, a Venus-Uranus or Mercury-Uranus aspect, or some kind of Uranian influence in their chart. Merc-Uranus is best for me since I have 11H Mercury in my chart. I don't find I'm attracted to Gemini people so much as I end up being awesome transient friends with many of them. I suppose Mercury being in the 11th of friends and distant acquaintances makes this so.

For me my DSC shows that I have to click with someone as a friend first before getting romantically involved. If I couldn't be friends with them, have many deep convos with them [Scorp Mercury] I wouldn't want to date them.

Quick insight/theory into why people are or aren't attracted to their 7th house sign:

May have something to do with the mode of the ASC/DSC.

EXAMPLES:

LionFish: Leo ASC/Aquarius DSC
Leo/Aquarius mode: Fixed
I am quite enamored of both these types of people. I draw them to me and surround myself with them subconsciously (or astrologically.) Like I said before all but 3 of my love interests whom I know their DOB have been Leos. 2 Aquarius (i just learned the birth date of one ) and 1 Cancer. But I have found that Aquarians suit me much] better than Leos.
Fixed signs - Attracted to 7th house signs.

Sand: Scorpio ASC/Taurus DSC
Scorpio/Taurus mode: Fixed

quote:
I like taureans but only the good looking ones. I find the fug ones pointless. I have merc conj dsc. love virgos. My experience is with virgos with Taurus moon/asc.

Granted because of the Mercury conjunct DSC there is an attraction for Virgos, still a Virgo with strong Taurus placements
Fixed Signs - Attracted to 7th house signs/placements.

@ail221 - i'm confused, your moon is in taurus in the 12th or gemini in the 12th?

Alabaster437: Taurus ASC/Scorpio DSC
Taurus/Scorpio: Fixed signs
Everything you described screams Pluto at me, even when you left out the Pluto-planet aspects that you like to find.
Fixed Signs - Attracted to 7th house sign/placements

Lazyscarecrow: Sagittarius ASC/Gemini DSC
Sagittarius/Gemini Mode: Mutable
First of all I'm glad you have no placements here. You're my unaspected example of mutable ASC/DSC like I was for fixed
A stronger attraction for the ASC sign than DSC, but both are there nonetheless. Also attraction to those who aspect the ruler of the 7th with their personal Planets.
Mutable signs: Attraction to all aspects toward 7th house sign/placements. Individual preferences probably vary with natal placements.

redshift: Capricorn ASC/Cancer DSC
Capricorn/Cancer mode:Cardinal

quote:
My Dsc is cancer with no other planets in the 7H. Dsc ruler, the Moon is in Virgo in the 5H. I don't seem to be attracted to cancer traits at all really.

Distaste for direct 7th house aspects. Those with aspects to the DSC ruler or to the ASC seem more enticing.
This would explain the attraction to Leos seeing as how your ASC would trine their sun by sign if not by degree.
Also, the Scorpio attraction is shown by another indirect contact to the DSC.
Cardinal Signs: Attracted to opposite/indirect 7th house aspects and contacts..

Any thoughts?
