I don't see an issue with Virgo people. I find Virgo people are very self-sacrificing which can usually be endearing but sometimes tough for my Sagittarius rising to deal with, since being straightforward and honest can prevail above sacrificing yourself for me sometimes, especially in love... I'd rather you be honest than lie or give something up just to make me happy. This is what many Virgo influenced boyfriends have acted like towards me. I don't hate on them for it though, obviously. It's actually sweet but can be frustrating.

Virgo influenced people have many strengths, from being self-aware to wanting to help in any way they can. Sometimes they can be annoyingly uptight, can correct your grammar or the little things you do incessantly, etc etc. But these small flaws can be overlooked compared to how sensual, sincere and meticulous they are in relationships and how they can be great family members and friends who give awesome advice or help you fix any little thing that bothers you.

I'm a Cap, and I love Virgos.

Most Caps I know love Virgos.

My gripe is that the Virgos don't love Caps as much as we love them.

This cruel trick of nature cost me years of heartache.

That's all I have to say about that.

We love you too. But you're being so harsh on us sometimes.
Most Virgos I know are with Capricorns.

awh my best friend is a virgo!
i love her dearly. she's one of very few people that i truly respect which is saying a lot considering how polar we are concerning a lot of things. she's a very sweet girl who has a lot in store for her because she's ambitious, intelligent and loving. as critical as she can be, she's very accepting of me and tolerates a lot of my craziness. and she's just weird, i love that girl!

Interesting...I have not experienced that! I adore my Cap brother, I would love to get to know Cappy Zoey actress. And with my brother I sometimes feel he is evasive with me!

I wonder...what house is your Cap in? And what house is Virgo in? And do you have Any planets in Virgo in that house? And what aspects do they make?

^ Ohhh you may be onto something. My singleton sun is in the 6H, that's probably the most "Virgo" thing about my chart, but my Juno (marriage asteroid) is in Virgo.

And I have a Pisces moon...opposites attracting.

What house is your Virgo in? And what house is Pisces? I'm curious if it's 4,5,7,8...Or if Mercury is any of those houses...

I, too, have spoken negatively about Virgos, but I try to make it clear that it is from my perspective.

And I dont think we can lump all sun signs into either negative or positive.

I stated already my half a century experience with them...and it continues.

But I am a Pisces, they are my opposite and clearly opposite we are!

My mother has never been supporitve of me on anything, she is 76 now, only in the last few years has she come around. She has always found something "negative" to say about me. She finds negative, unsupporitve things to say about anybody and anything. But she is learning as per herself, to keep her comments to herself.

My bfriend does the same thing. No support, everything I do is done incorrectly and he has the correct way. He, too is learning to not hurt my feelings so much.

Like I said, I am a Pisces and I am still on a learning curve, all these years later

I try not to speak negatively about Virgo, but my negative experiences with such.

And I have had positive ones, too.

blessins!

Sorry you have had such a bad experience with many Virgos. It's a shame for anyone on here who has had bad experiences too if they have been multiple ones.

Too bad a forum doesn't allow us the true chance to meet one another because there are Virgos like me who are warm, kind, friendly, full of hope and love and laughter and pretty amazing people if I do say so myself! lol. :-D

Most Pisces I've known are marvelous. My mommy is one and she is such a beautiful spirit. I think I've only had amazing experiences with the pisces I know... When close...we share dreams, and have significant psychic connections with one another.

Anyway...blessings right back at ya!

That is interesting... We are like alcoholic daughters. She who attracting alcoholic men even if she not know that from the beginning, because her father was an alcoholic man.
How about you Hippichick? You looks like be in love in someone with the trait you feel from before. Your boyfriend looks like your mother. This is nothing new in psychology.

People who complain on other people all the time has problem with law self esteem. Ive met people who complain and been negative on everything and speak bad about other people in every sign.

I think that Virgos are maligned because they unemotionally speak the truth. They are NOT seeking to hurt another's feelings. They are just being direct and honest.

Virgos are rich with common sense and as the Servants of the Zodiac, you couldn't have a better choice than Virgo. They never miss a detail.

So I feel that we should love our Virgos as they do much for others that most would not think about doing.

Bottom line..I love Virgos.

O, absolutely, I think I have attracted my bfriend into my life to work out issues with my mother.

I tried a long time ago to tell my mother about her terrible parenting skills, she denied (forgot) everything.

Actually she really ****** me off yesterday with some things she said. I got up in the middle of the night and emailed her so. I told her why she was wrong in saying what she did and why.

I attract emotional abusive men, always have, cause she was to me.

I am not backing down, I am going to find a way!

My former mother inlaw another Virgo, phsyically and emotionally abused her son, the dad of my kids, my former husband who killed himself.

Uggg..I HAVE to heal this Virgo thing!

I'm a virgo. My birthday is on the 30th, I don't know if I'm a cusp with Leo. But about me, I'm neat and orginized, if I don't have it neat I'll stress till it's right. I know things arn't perfect but, it's a difficult trait to have. Especailly when it comes to love and dating...I love to learn and havea thirst for knowledge. I'm an easy going person, and once you get to know me I am a good person. I am very shy and I think people think I am a snob, hence why nobody approaches me. But once you've aquainted me and it becomes friendship I have your back. The negative side is I get upset and depressed easily. I have trust issue's especailly with the opposite sex. I think it's mainly the shyness that people take for snobbiness. My appearence isn't a big thin and I'm not materialistic..I don't like talking about myself so I am stoping here, just laying down some of virgo traits..

This is very much how I am as a Virgo Sun/moon Aquarius except I'm quite emotional and passionate and love being close to those I love.

Virgo Sun/Moon in Aquarius: Probing Mind
You have a passion for adventure and excitement. Your activities and interests are made for the scientific and the conceptual as well as people and social campaigns, the uncharted and the unfamiliar This is because the logical and careful Virgo has a humanitarian and visionary Aquarian Moon that is creative and curious. This means your dreams and ambitions, are both extensive and offbeat. Mentally and spiritually you are a maverick and a pacesetter, but like most Virgos you might reside and work in a conformist setting. Your faraway look makes you different from other natives of your sign, and suggests shenanigans and revolt, even though you may look in some ways like a mild-mannered Virgo. Your quick motions and gestures show your need for diversity no matter how reserved and careful you may appear to some. You enjoy observing others from afar and are objective and quite insightful. Your feelings about people are amazingly on target and they fascinate you. There are occasions when those around you feel more like objects in a scientific test than real friends because you are so objective and detached. You treat everyone with thoughtfulness and deference. Your real fondness is usually just for social causes, ideals, or scientific projects. You think that love embraces all of humanity, not just a few. You need a lot of freedom and autonomy on the job in order to stay content and concerned. Your combination is perfect for scientific success. Besides technological pursuits, you can do well in education, psychology, social activism, and unusual areas like astrology and the occult. Your talent of detaching yourself from things is perfect for humane pursuits such as nursing, medicine, and the clergy. You mostly feel a strong connection with charitable and humanitarian undertakings in general. As with all Virgos, work is extremely important to you, but enchantment is the key to your combination. You instantly become restless and perplexed if drudgery or boredom or sets in. Specialization is the nature of this combination. You are primarily interested in mastering one thing even though your pursuits and dreams involve a broad and creative spectrum. There is no stopping your dedication once you have discovered the area that interests you most, because you have the logical strengths and accuracy of the Virgo, as well as the innovation and pioneering spirit of the Aquarian.

So with Mercury there this could have something to do with your attraction to Virgo! My husband has uranus in libra 7th, but I have a very strong Uranus personality...so it makes sense he is attracted to me. Does that make sense?? And for me...Taurus/Gemini have always gotten under my skin and I have been totally infatuated with the men Ive been involved with thay have these strong in the chart. So My 7th is cancer but the 4th house that rules cancer is Taurus which goes into 5th and also gemini in 5th too and of course I married a Sun Gemini/moon Taurus. Before him though...dang Taurus Gemini broke my heart...there is a post that does such better justice explaining this. I'll find it for you!

Here it is! You gotta read the whole post to get an understanding of what is discussed! It's a great thread:

havent found virgos to be so critical that its intolerable. i just dont like their moodswings that much. and i think they are more sensitive than anything. they are more critical of themselves than anybody else. I love them because theyre nearly perfect, and about the only sign i feel i can trust other than my own sign cancer. I will probably end up marrying a virgo.

i'm a cancer, leo moon, libra rising
i always attract people with virgo placements.

Its different to be critical or negative or complaining. To much critical seems to be like negative and complaining.. The limits are not so clear. Virgo people see all the small details and know how to put it out in word. Not everyone manage the people who are so straight like a virgo.

The negative complaining sign is personal and not just a virgo. Everyone here on LL complain and are negative sometimes, also me
