My parents have been married 21 years! They plan to be married for life! The birth times are accurate.

Like minds...hehe

I guess like RAS suggest, we'll have to figure this one out on our own.

We should keep tabs and tallies and then exchange notes.

Shucks yeah you're right.

I'm gonna scout and find other aspects. I'd love it if you did a once over to see if it was all correct. Thanks

yes and yes.
so far sun conjunct mercury with one of them aspecting venus
or sun conjunct venus
(wide conjunctions count)

all have moon mercury aspects
none have major hard aspects of saturn to personal planets

I'm astrology-stupid.

I don't know what a stellum is but here is mine and my husband's composite chart.

**We have been married one whole year.

We've been together for 5 1/2 years.**

Interesting notes you guys are finding.

I was gonna chime in and say that there is a Moon-Neptune aspect in every chart (I think it was Ceridwen who mentioned this before I dunno) but you may already be aware and uh, Moonwitch's composite doesn't seem to have the aspect. edit: It's lacking in a few charts as well, nvm.
But even still, I agree with the little to non-existent presence of Saturn in a composite as an indicator. Although sometimes Saturn is apart of the stellium.

ok now the only thing i see that's consistent is composite sun in a feminine sign

and no saturn major hard aspects to personal planets

so far

and venus being aspected by sun, moon, or mercury.

edit: i don't think we should discount the moon/mercury aspect pattern just yet. the last one had a wide conjunction. since every other chart has the aspects, we should keep it for now

(i should also note that it's the only thing that sets apart stated composite patterns apart from my exlovestellium bf who was a dumb....)

My theory has always been

PART 1- moon aspecting venus in synastry/composite OR sun conjunct/opp/semisextile/semisquare venus OR sun conjunct jupiter

PART 2- with sun, venus, or moon aspecting pluto in either synastry or composite, for synastry usually a pluto double whammy.

Instead of part 1 I have sometimes seen composite sun or moon being conjunct neptune, or just composite sun conjunct moon. I'd def see the attraction there as well, as I have had those in the composite before and I know that it feels intense, but they are LESS common.

I have had quite a few love stelliums in my day so i think this is interesting to try to decode what sets a love stellium where you date or like eachother apart from a love stellium or composite that lasts

Sorry about that. We have been married one whole year.

We've been together for 5 1/2 years.

ETA: LOL! I guess that's not 'long standing' because it's not 20 years but it's long standing in Los Angeles where we live. I have absolutely no doubts we'll be together until we both kick the buckets.

Composite chart ruler for me is Venus in 7th House loosely conjunct a couple of planets In Scorpio. Whatever does that mean? .

That Venus opposite North Node thing is also a mystery to me. Also, that Venus Conjuncts Neptune. Sounds kind of questionable to me? Imaginary illusory love?

The 7th House can't possibly be the end all and be all of marriage. But I'm heavy there.

it's not the end all be all, but it can make both people feel inclined for "partnership" at least the sun there. i assume all personal planets. i also have heard/seen a lot of vertex in the 7th house in relationships and friendships.. some NN and some venus in there. maybe some moon. idk ive looked at composites with pretty much everyone i can grab the birthtime's for. i've seen a lot of 7th house for meaningful relationships, but since i havent had a long-lasting one i can't attest to what's in that 7th. we'll see

This is a great thread

To me it only further confirms what RunAroundScreaming wrote about her ideal compatibility

I also noticed that so far the composite node is always aspected, either by a conjunction or by a square, with Venus conjunct south node is the most recurring aspect among the composite charts already posted (all of them have at least one planet either conjunct or square the nodal axis). I find this really interesting considering how important the nodes are considered in synastry (and also because I find the nodes in themselves fascinating). I'd have to take a look at some famous soulmate couple to know whether it is recurring.

They say Composite Sun in 6th sux. I see that Crcrincon has it too. It's supposed to make marriage a drudgery and a lot of work, and one person is supposed to serve the other and get oppressed blah blah blah

Well, I'm here to prove them wrong. Crcrincon seems to have a great marriage too.

Well, not to get too personal, but if you wanna smack talk my marriage, then show me you have a successful marriage yourself... rofl... the last two astrologers that smack talked me were divorced... roflmao

You what would have helped the data gathering is if we had people who were married at least 10 years if not more. I mean, not to sound like a downer but lots of people rush into marriage only to break it off. I think RAS mentioned that Kim Kardashian and Kris had a love stellium but how long was the marriage? A whopping 70 days

It's not to say they might not get back together later, but it's highly unlikely with the flow of people into their lives.

Anyway, I was just thinking that while gathering data when I look at someone's chart, who say has been married only 6 months....it's beautiful to study but it's not practical to add to the data or aspect gathering. There is no proven long term effect there... yet.

Anyway, I think from now on, I'll compare charts of people who have been together for at least 10 years in marriage. That should be significant. Maybe it should be 20 years? What do you guys think?

25 years post-marriage should be the minimum standard. I dunno. I've not heard very many marriages past 25 years that fall apart.
