Would my moon in Taurus in the 11th house opp. Pluto in Scorpio in the 5th be part of the reason women seem competitive with me?

I'm getting frustrated because no matter how under the radar a crush seems, there's always a girl who is competing with me. Sometimes it's a classmate-acquaintance, sometimes it's a friend. It's subtle but I pick up on it and I just have to go find a new guy to like. I don't understand this because I don't actively compete for anyone's attention, especially if I know someone else likes him. Why? Because I hate that being done to me!

If it's not the Moon opp. Pluto, then astrologically what else could it be? I have Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune (all Capricorn) in the 7th ruled by Sagittarius. Mars in Gemini in the 12th ruled by Taurus.

It's Pluto. Makes you so provocative, you can't be ignored, whether you like it or not. Pluto's power should be harnessed, however - acknowledging the attractiveness - even through the manipulation, conscious influencing, seduction, etc.

Moon/Venus in H11 on their own have appealing quality, too.

Pluto? It's rocking between my 5th and 6th house, so I thought it's power in the 5th was weakened!

What do you do to remedy such an affliction?

Don't fly under the radar, embrace your wants and feelings, don't go off and find someone else, stay consistent...if you let these girls know all they have to do is give a bit of competition and youll back down, then they will always do it! You don't have to be mean or competitive just don't let them being there change your behavior...follow through with what you would have done..wither they were there or not!
Your setting yourself up, and your teaching these girls that if they challenge you, you'll back down...so they will go after you just to feel superior to someone.

i have taurus moon in 6th, 20 minutes from my DC opp my pluto in 12th.

i dont really relate to this but i can be pretty intimidating being triple fixed and scorp asc, people don't often cross me very much. in that situation i would just give them a look and it's like "i dare you"

my friend would just know better than to do that to me. i would call them out. and be like "what are you doing?"

i think my ascendant might work in my favor with the opposition and it might be more about the houses you mentioned?

i have one flirty friend and i have literally said before going to meet up with a new guy i liked "don't flirt with him. don't even look at him for too long"

i make it a point to respectful of my friends' crushes/bfs/etc and not to flirt or even be extra cute in front of them so i expect the same in return

Maybe you are more sensitive to this because your Taurus moon is scared of the jealousy and intensity that could be unleashed by Scorpio Pluto in this situation..? idk

Or maybe it's the nature of the 2 signs (Taurus and Scorpio)?

I have Sun&Venus Scorpio opposite Taurus Moon - I don't mind competition but I won't actively compete. The girl I like either likes me more (than the 'competion') or not - if they don't then I will withdraw.

i reread this and your original post and thought it probably has something to do with the mars in the 12th. so i googled a little bit and this link might be interesting for you to read
http://theastrologyplace.blogspot.com/2011/01/mars-in-12th-house-repressed-rage.html

i think it would make sense that you get frustrated and then just find a new guy to like instead of standing your ground/making it obvious it's not ok and you like him instead of bowing out.

since i have the same opposition but i have mars in my 5th in aries it makes sense why i wouldn't be afraid of assertiveness in dating where you might not be as inclined with it in your 12th

hannarama, i have taurus moon opposite pluto and its similar for me, but slightly different since i'm a guy. my experience is that girls i'm pursuing intentionally try to make me jealous by mentioning other guys and playing mind games. it always feels like a giant sh*t test, i've gotten to the point where i dont have the patience to deal with it.

Hi Hanna,

I have the same problem as you do, but I don't have that same aspect you have. I'm thinking that Pluto does probably have something to do with it though, because Pluto is my chart ruler... But I also have lots of outer-inner planet contacts and I tend to think that makes me more noticeable, even when I try not to be.

I think that if a guy really wants to be with me, he'll be with me and that competing with other women just sets yourself up for failure because if he's that easily swayed by another woman who is being obviously over the top and disingenuous (which they usually ARE) that he was not that interested to begin with. That's just my take on it though.

Thanks Gabby.

I get confused in my relationships with women because I'm good at getting along with them too, well - in comparison to my quadruple Scorpio friend. Girls give her dirty look for no reason too (she has Scorpio ASC, so Pluto again.) but I have Sun and Mercury conjunct Venus in the 11th house, planets in the 7th, Mars in the 12th - So the houses naturally ruled by Aquarius, Libra (and I have Gemini ASC). My point is I'm a "group" person, I like getting along, compromise, communication... if I can do and be those things with women I assume they're my friends with I guess is not always the case.

Sorry for rambling! But if it's the Moon opp. Pluto, then does this aspect also draw women to me, just maybe with ulterior motives that I'm not aware of? Oh you know I also forgot I have Mars inquincunx Pluto too...

You're right and that's something I knew too. It's just frustrating, and I wondered about what caused this kind of thing astrologically.

Something else I thought of is Venus. Where are your Venuses placed and do they make aspects to Pluto?

Anyone making a hard aspect to your pluto, esp square/opposition to their sun/mars is going to be competitive with you, but add in your moon and yes it will be women more than likely, and if their planet makes a t-square the energy is going to be much more aggressive as it is looking for an outlet for the stressful energy that is created! They will see you as someone they need to make a point of, and to show they have the superiority over!
You just need to stand your ground...i've my pluto on my asc, so i understand pluto's games and how it draws adversarial relationships to you if your not careful...to combat it, you have to build a good offense. You need to consistently let ppl know you won't play and if they force it you'll give them a good fight, thats enough right there to prevent most of them because they are looking for the weaklings...the rest would have challenge no matter what! So, just make it easier on yourself and fight them off before they attack by letting everyone know your not mean but your not a pushover either!

It's interesting to note that you have Pluto in it's home sign of Scorpio and
your Moon exalted in Taurus.

Well I got your invitation through e-mail, but that e-mail isn't the one I normally use for Facebook. I tried finding you through the search engine there, but I didn't know which one was you, so that's why I asked if you were wearing a red shirt in your picture. (By the way, that doesn't sound any less creepy the second time around asking.)

Wow.
I have the same problem.
I never had not to compete with another girl for a guy. It's really quite frustrating and tiresome.
I too have my Moon in the 11th house, stellium in the 5th and Mars in Gemini
but my Pluto is in the 3rd.

Interesting SmilingHearts, my Mars is in Gemini too. I can see competitiveness being a necessary evil with that placement alone. Gemini is a multi-tasker sign and Mars is naturally competitive... Pluto in the 3rd, home to Gemini (although maybe not ruled by it in your case) Interesting. Do you have to compete to be heard?

Yes, alot of times I do. It made me very unpopular in high school. I found that challenging others and competing was one of the only ways for me to be heard and and recognized by peers and teachers alike.
I find your theory interesting, I never thought of Gemini as a sign of competition. But it makes sense - Gemini is easily bored....maybe we Mars in Gemini types look for intricacy in situations and people unconsciously ?
I really do not like to compete but I often have to anyways.
My third house cusp is in Libra (Pluto in Scorpio) which explains why I sometimes rather walk away from these situations.

Seems like we're from the same generation too with Pluto in Scorpio and a Saturn/Neptune/Uranus stellium. Which year are you?

I don't know how that plays out in astrology though, my sun and moon being exalted. Does it make their traits more identifiable?
