It always seems right when we are about to break something gives! I would say approach him, but if your not comfortable with that there is probably a reason! Everything happens at the right time, and you don't need to push something before it ready! I do think you need to focus on you for awhile, set him on the back burner, build your self worth up and then see how you feel. You can't sit around and think about him, theres nothing good coming from that, i think the best thing you can do is work on becoming the person that would attract the man you most want, get very focused on that!! If it is him, then he will make the situation that allows you to be together, if it isn't you'll be ready for someone who is available, sees you and goes after you!

I've heard over and over the cardinal ascendant/cardinal axis is the hardest! Esp libra because its all about balancing...a never ending process! Ugh...i feel your pain! I think finding someone else who understands and has the same thing going on, is going to be important to us!

I've battled low self-confidence my whole life. It comes in phases though and it used to be a lot worse when I was in my teens.

As a Leo Sun, its difficult to relate to most of what Leo represents - pride and boosting a lot. I am self - depricating and often feel I'm not good at anything. Also I have social anxiety and I can't stand being in groups of people - Pluto in the 11th H maybe?

In fact my lack of confidence is so bad that I constantly brush off compliments. And rationalize them as they're just being nice, they don't mean it.

Yet most of my chart is ruled by fire planets and houses. My only conclusion is that I prefer to subvert from conventions and I have Saturn in the 1st opposite Venus.

Hi, this is an interesting post....I too have all my life with yo-yoing self esteem. I have a pretty tough chart anyway but I'd say the main contributors to it would be my my Sun and Mars both conjunct (good) but both opposite Saturn!!! (not so good) I also have Pluto conjunct the IC.....oh and my sun squares Neptune. :-S

Had this misconception that fire signs had all the confidence in the world, and nothing really effected them, never figured that others with plenty of fire can have serious self-esteem issues. Thought it was just a water element problem. My chart is almost nothing but water(Cancer), and I have struggled so much in the past with self-confidence, trying to get the right people to like me, needing approval, and just over all trying to fit in. Now that I am older, after awhile I just learned it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. I learned to love myself as I am, and if anyone doesn't like me or they try to bring me down...then they can kiss my butt

I have saturn conjunct the ic... But i also have the Leo pride... Its a mix i have confidence but i do question my self at times hoping i did the right thing..

I worry alot abt doing what's right.. Sometimes i can't decided and it causes inter termoil.. Then i get stuck with debating with my self...

I had this kind of environment growing up but didnt realize it until i saw my children starting to be treated the same way i was. something in me kicked into high gear and i high tailed it out of there, i didnt want them to feel that pain and feel so lonely and isolated like me!
Its taken 10 years but finally, i like me! My kids are happy, and i dont have much association with those ppl. If somebody doesnt see the good in me then i dont want to deal with the negativity they bring and i walk away!
You know the hugest thing to realize is that its them causing all the trouble, not you!If they were better ppl they would be bringing the good out in you by seeing and respecting you for who you are...not tearing you down! Its there fault you feel bad, and when you feel bad you cant do your best no matter how much you want to!

I think everybody has those not feeling so great days, where things seem to wrong. It took me awhile to get more assertive and just do what makes me happy. In the end if your sure of yourself other people will be sure of you too. I know that sounds very cliche, but its so true.

IMO, I think it might be the Saturn IC locale issue. Had the same problems when I resided on my Saturn line. It felt like I was fighting everybody just to prove myself, just ridiculous...

Leos seem to have that constant glow of confidence around them, so even if their not feeling so great about themselves, they still give off that vibrant vibe

My sister is a Scorpio Sun and Libra Moon and she has the lowest self esteem of anyone I know. It's actually pretty sad, because she's so beautiful and likeable. She's very controlling and jealous though, she wants to control every situation and she wants everyone to like her and think she's attractive, constantly worried about what others think. I feel like she's always in her own head, she can't ever relax. If someone doesn't like her, or if someone's mad at her, she gets nauseous (has panic attacks.) She's like a prisoner of her own mind.

I agree. I have Gem ASC, Sun Merc and Venus all in A ties and all square Saturn in the 7th. Mars in the 12th. Standing up for myself and leading is like a parapaelgic walking for the third time. Its familiar but uncomofrtable. Fire signs especially since we see our potential in our own minds and want other people to see it so badly.
