What ascendant and moon signs would enforce low self-confidence?I have libra ascendant and virgo moon, I think I am insecure and have low self-confidence even though I probably shouldn't. IP: Logged |

Does Saturn aspect any of your inner planets? What is it doing in your chart as far as house and aspects? How many 12th, 8th, or 4th houses do you have? Contrary to popular belief, I feel like fire signs are prone to confidence issues because of our gigantic ego needs not being fulfilled. I feel like Mars or Sun in certain signs can be culprits or aspects to these can give issues with self asserting and ego, and an afflicted Moon leaves your feelings unsure and vulnerable to input from others. Afflicted Venus affects your self-worth.

to me low self-confidence is how you build up your personality. i do not think there is any particular sign or position which is a "set" standard indicator of low self esteem.IP: Logged |

there's a number of things that could indicate this besides the ascendant and moon, I personally think sun/saturn aspects = low self confidence. I have saturn conjunct sun in the 12th house -_- IP: Logged |

I kind of agree with the idea that some fire signs lack confidence, this coming from knowing more than a handful of Sagittarius and Aries suns. Verbally they can be the most outlandish entertaining people but sit down with one and you kind of get the feeling that they have a serious lack of self-confidence and most of them seem so ambitious but they lack that spark, that higher degree of self worth. Placement wise I'd say mars 2nd house, the 2nd house ruled by Taurus, possessions, things of value, physical body etc there is a conflict between the passion of mars and the actual value of one's self. No afflicted venus in my chart <---everything is healthy with it, but saturn is in my 4th house natal wise (what a ***** ) and it is currently transiting in my 1st house....(pain in the ass)
I have moon square mars (virgo moon square gemini mars)

In the charts, I'd asssume Saturn touching any personal planets. Depends on what you lack confidence in though. Like merc Saturn aspects, may make you feel intellectually incompetent, or just doubting your intelligence . Mars/Saturn can make you feel sexually insecure, or passive aggressive. I've actually read that ppl with this aspect can even make them impotent. Sun Saturn or moon Saturn I think will deal with lacking confidence as a whole.IP: Logged |

I would think Saturn aspecting personal planets for sure. I have Sun square Saturn and Moon conjunct Saturn. My self-esteem is terrible, but I'm trying to work on it.IP: Logged |

Is saturn sqauring ur AC? on your IC? that would defnitely affect you emotionally! IC being your deepest core feelings, then having saturn sitting there at your core in judgement of all you do! Squaring your AC/DC, so not particularly happy with the way you appear to everyone, and not happy with your relationships? You would feel like you never were good enough, never chose good ppl, never were proper enough or did things quite as good as you should have! And a saturn in cappy...exalted saturn, makes for a very strong saturn...ouch! Are you way to hard on yourself?IP: Logged |

^^Yes, Saturn on the IC really sucks, it makes you question everything you do. I couldnt deal with it when I had my Saturn on my IC when I was located in the southwest:/IP: Logged |

Saturn squares or oppositions to personal planets. Been there, done that. It's over now - i am now very self confident and communicative, i don't know how, but i've done that. So if you have them you just have to learn to let it go. A few people that appreciate you much and like you, should be a help. IP: Logged |

this!!! so badly!! i've got most those things. nearly all the fire suns i know are shy, though. except the leo's. but even then there are a few i know, which have suffered chronically.libra asc always wants to please and want to be liked aswell. or at least doesn't want to be seen to be disturbing the peace, ever. that doesn't help, when expressing certain fire. your chart is split in 4 your Ascendant is the 1-3 houses the very beginning of the 4th house is your IC...the sign and degree of the very beginning of your 4th house is so critical, your deepest core self, very tender and emotional anything falling there is going to impact you deeply! If your saturn is close to this point, your will struggle with looking at yourself in a critical way...but you can overcome!! I have Saturn in the 12th. It doesn't make prominent negative aspects.
It just means I like being to myself and I believe looking for spirituality ...  I think Saturn in the 12th doesn't have much to worry about. IP: Logged |
