Florence has a wonderful voice, and her sound isn't too bad either! All the twinkling harps, operatic notes...Other songs by her that I like include Spectrum, Cosmic Love, and her cover of Girl With One Eye.
Don't forget What The Water Gave Me =) I love her. Now if only she and Tori Amos could have a baby.... IP: Logged |

Hi Node, The approximate birth time I've been given gives me an 18 Pisces moon as well, but that could change once I get the official time. You and I agree on some political topics, maybe that's a factor. Enya has SN conjunct Chiron in Pisces, I'll bet that puts a lot of the soul in her music. I'd be interesting to know if she's a Gemini or Cancer moon. Both seem to fit. IP: Logged |

Hey Ian, I like how most of your musicians are in business suits. Your choice for Cap sun is just one more confirmation of the fact that we Caps are romantics. Even with 10H sun! But also...this one has always seemed very Cap to me. ^ Minus the profanity and booze, in your case.

So are yours, for noticing mine! Actually, it's just that I can relate. I have 3H Pluto, part of a grand trine in air (if 10 degree orbs count ) quote: Originally posted by Got Gemini??: I also have a lot of music from artists who speak languages I do not understand. Like that So com voce song.
Ditto, and the So Com Voce song is so suave. Do you frequent night clubs...wear cashmere sweaters...drink martinis and all that? It's the image I'm getting. As for me, the foreign songs I listen to tend to be Indian (Capricorn supposedly is the sign of India.) It makes sense that a Saturn-ruled country would create hour-long mantras. And yes, I could listen to that for an hour. quote: Originally posted by Got Gemini??: This is an awesome thread BTW, probably one of my favorites in the last 4 years I've been on this site. :-)
I think music is a good way to get to the heart of things. IP: Logged |

What's it mean, can you tell me? I should have asked that before posting it, I guess! quote: Originally posted by Maelstrom: What can I say? I guess everyones got their skeletons on the closet. Definitely, I agree with that. My mother died when I was 14, and I've said to various people over the years that astrology has "parented" me. It knows me well and guides me. quote: Originally posted by Maelstrom: Ironic that Pluto falls in my 4th house and he has a Scorpio sun.
Interesting, yes. My Pluto is Libra, conjunct my sternest grandfather's sun...whose coldness trickled down and shaped my life even though he died before I was born. (My father and both grandfathers were Libra.) quote: Originally posted by Maelstrom: Still searching for those answers though
Best wishes. PS You can edit out the content of your duplicated posts, if you wish, and just write D/P, we all understand that. 'Happens a lot on this forum. IP: Logged |

Hiya Xiiro, Another great song! I love her and Tori Amos, too, but Tori WOULD be robbing the cradle dating Florence. And philandering. The baby would have red hair. Here we go... http://www.astrotheme.com/astrology/Florence_Welch My Mars is exactly conjunct her moon...is her NN conjunct your SN, by chance? And her sun is pretty close to your moon. Hope you don't mind me copying your trademark posting style, I mean to give you credit each time but that would sound too much like hero-worship. And I want to hide that, if I can. TTYL IP: Logged |

Yes, that baby would be a severe ginger. But I don't mind, perhaps it's my Irish roots, but there is something witchy about red hair. Let's see, her NN is conjunct my ASC, but not my SN her Moon/Lilith are opposed my Sun her Sun is conjunct my Saturn her Uranus is conj my Neptune and her Neptune is conj my Mercury It explains why I am attracted to her music for it's ethereal angst. And don't worry about yoinking my response style, I can't fault you for appreciating efficiency. HAhah Okay, putting the Leo back in his den now. IP: Logged |
