No flowers, or sentimental cards (Capricorn Sun), maybe chocolates from my favourite
confectionery (Taurus Moon), and no expensive, or gaudy gifts (Virgo AC)...I just like to have something spur of the moment to do, genuine, but again....
not wasting anyone's time.... (-cough-Virgo/Cap? -cough-)
Just for instance, an impromptu camping trip/hike/mountain biking.
Or, randomly finding one of those hidden gem type restaurants tucked away somewhere
unexpected.... Getting out somewhere familiar but finding something new/different
to take in. I'm far from picky, but I do expect romantic to mean sincere, best way to show
you mean something is to just do it so that it looks effortless (even if you really did have to
get time off, or book ahead, or save up to do such)... it's not like whimsy and dramatic is a
bad thing, but I would probably end up over-analyzing a persons intentions and meaning if

Venus (as well as Mercury & Moon) in Gemini----I'm shy as it is but if I notice someone else is acting shy it immediately grasps my attention. And it won't let go. I'm very drawn to people that are evasive and fickle. It gives me a chance to talk them into comfort which really pleases me. Someone who will let me comfort them. (that had a little Pisces Mars ring to it) ------------------

I love cuddling naked with them, staring into each other's eyes and smiling nd/or looking intensely into each other's eyes, whispering sweet nothings. But not the usual sweet nothings, more like everythings...why you mean so much to me or vice-versa, how you've impacted me and made me a different person, memories that mean a lot to me about you. Eventually this will lead into dirty talk, lots of caresses, kissing passionately, then heated sex.Other things I find romantic: staying up all night discussing my deepest feelings and problems my partner or vice-versa, opening up like with no one else, being a little vulnerable and helping the other to heal those psychological wounds. Then little things, sweet cards or meaningful gifts (not necessarily expensive, just very meaningful like from an inside joke or a framed picture), walks on the beach, eating out and trying new things together, staying up all night exploring the city or just doing laundry together and watching movies. Venus in Gemini in 12th. I especially like it when I get to see their most secrets or hidden parts of themselves...I feel extremely special. I loved to be told how much they adore me and how special I am to them, but it has to be genuine. I love it when it they are witty and have a sense of humor and tickle my mind...it's a huge turn on and excites me.
I love sexual innuendos and play on words.
I love holding hands and pda. Kissing passionately and intensey, and holding hands while making love. Intensely looking into each others eyes... have a an intimate dinner over good conversations.

Nice thread, but it's making me lovesick, lol!Some things I would find romantic: deep conversations late into the night about anything, lazy Sunday mornings cuddling and not wanting to get out of bed, having picnics together, weekend trips, sharing our favorite things together, like music, poetry, literature, etc., lots and lots of physical affection, even just light touches, little things that prove he listens and remembers things about me  Taurus Sun, Aries Venus in H11/H12 IP: Logged |

Oh such a sweet thread - I just love romance fullstop. I find almost everything romantic, whether its actions, words, music, ideas or feelings, as long as its expressed genuinely, I would find it extremely romantic. But if I had to pick just a few things I would say just waking up next to my husband is the ultimate in romantic - I love the way he leans over and kisses me first thing every morning, so sweet - he never forgets, never fails to kiss me first thing in the morning. I quite like PDAs - cos he says he can't keep his hands off me (which I also find sweet after 15 years together) but I also find it intensely romantic when we are in public (usually at one of his boring official work functions) and he looks at me a certain way as if we were the only two people in the room. He doesn't have to say anything, its just in the glance. Then I blush & melt inside...

To me, the most romantic scene is lying together with your lover on the grass of a wide meadow at night, watching the shining stars, whispering your dream and making wishes.
Beside standing at a sea cliff at night and watching the moon together is also my favorite romantic scene.

Scorpio Venus as well (6th House). I can definitely relate to this. Also most of my placements are the same. We're probably born in the same year.
