I don't know why everyone so far looked only at 4th and 5th houses. What about Asc/1st house? Logically, 1st house - house of Me, my ego, my body + 5th house - house of children.

Look for aspects between rulers of 1st and 5th houses. Or between elements and/or rulers of these houses.

My example. I would like to have children.

In my chart the rulers don't aspect: Libra Asc, Uranus 5th house ruler, no aspect between Venus and Uranus.

BUT Venus in in 5th house. So either kids are important to me or I am important to them. Also Venus is in Aquarius, so Uranus is dispositor of Venus. That's another 1-5 link. 2 links already.

I do not. For I am content being a starving artist, no room for kids there. Sag Sun-Mercury in 5th. I have a major 4th house stellium (Venus, NN, Jupiter-Pluto, Juno) but I don't want kids or marriage. o.0

My baby nephew brings me joy. I love the little guy. I never wanted kids. I tend to mother people but being a mom doesn't appeal to me. Empty 4th and 5th. Earth dominant. I view parenting as a serious job. Raising kids would be a burden.

I'm still pretty young so I wouldn't say never, but I don't think I want kids either.

I have Jupiter in Virgo, 5th house. The rest of my chart is hoarded in 7th-10th houses.

I've read that signs condsidered barren on the 5H cusp could mean no children or not wanting children. Virgo, Gemini and surprisingly Leo, while Aquarius sag and Aries are semi barren.

I have 5H on Leo cusp wit Virgo moon in it, I work with children and love to teach, but I don't have any strong desire to have children myself. If I happen to get pregnant in my future with the right guy I might have one, but I could see myself adopting a child (5H Virgo moon trine Neptune 9H) when I'm more settled down. Tho it's hard to say.

Personally, I feel like it's my social obligation as a woman and to the planet, to not contribute to the insane amount of population growth in this last century, as it is my choice, I don't need to have a child nor really want to. I feel like one is enough and we done have enough resources to just continue to keep procreating and multiplying like we have been.. resources are waisted and hoarded and millions are starving. There are so many children born and abondoned and already don't have enough love shown to them..

Currently anyway

Because they may grow up to hate you or change and then all of your hard effort would be put to waste

Not just that they are expensive as hell

Plus I don't get to pick their personality what if they are annoying?

It's just not for me lol
