So I like twitter and tumblr and stuff and I follow a lot of zodiac accounts like @HeartCapricorn and @Zodiacfacts. I've been sooooo disappointed by their lack of knowledge about Capricorns! Most posts about Capricorns look like this: - A Capricorn will stop at nothing to achieve a goal. - With a #Capricorn things get serious and disciplined. (Seriously?) -If you are the type to wear old, beat up sneakers, forget about dating a #Capricorn.(I am the QUEEN of old, dirty, beat up shoes) But most posts about Capricorns almost always have something to do with achieving goals, ambition, and success. Most of these will probably apply to women more than men seeing that I am a woman.-Capricorns LOVE recognition and praise, but not in a Leo kind of way -Capricorns love to impress those that they are fond of. -The best dog for a Capricorn is one that is obedient and easy to train like a Mini Schnauzer -Capricorns are usually in love with themselves, but not in conceited kind of way. Anyone that is patient enough to get to know them will fall in love, too. -Capricorns value information, and each goat goes about obtaining it in different ways. -A Capricorn rarely beats herself up for making mistakes. Once the mistake is made, she can easily learn from it and much more easily move on. -A Capricorn doesn't waste her breath. She doesn't like to hear herself talk like Aries or Gemini. If she's speaking she's assuming you're listening. She will not repeat herself either. -Capricorn usually need a partner to help them let their hair down and stop worrying. I didn't realise how uptight I was until I met my fiery Aries boyfriend. -Who the hell said Capricorns are unemotional? The **** ? -Capricorns are their own motivators. -It's difficult for Capricorns to be in a relationship with a partner that lacks their own ambition and motivation -Capricorns need inspiration and love to inspire. -Capricorns thrive in meaningful relationships -Capricorns prefer relationships to casual dating. My .02 with a good friend who is a Cappy:-Very loyal
-Hard Working
-Surprisingly creative
-Did not mind dressing well, just did not want to pay a lot for it
-When he fell in love, he fell hard..as in "have not seen that dude in a couple of months since he met her" He was very dour, but had a great dry sense of humor, I could see why some thought he was well..a jerk, but once one got to know him no better friend no worse enemy. Stay on a Cappy's good side and try to understand where they are coming from and work at what you do and you'll have no problems with a Cappy. In fact, they will be delighted that someone saw past the icy stare and insane work schedule. IP: Logged |

I have a Cap Moon & Cap Mars. I can be very serious and focused on my career - and I can avoid everything including other people, parties, movies, media etc - when I'm focused on a goal.
So I don't think those things are untrue.What I find untrue in Cap interpretations is that: - they have very intense passionate feelings that are deeply buried and that they are hiding from everyone (all BS from my perspective)..
Capricorn feelings are calm.. They are there but they are not erratic, insane, passionate or dramatic. & - they are very cold-hearted and self-centred (again BS)... It's a transpersonal sign so they are not at all self-centred. IP: Logged |

-see that's where usual descriptions get Capricorns wrong~ we're -not- really work driven we're single-minded we're success driven sure~ fear or hatred of failure and loss --- but whatever has our attention - that's what we strive towards to the exclusion of all other distractions or hurdles before us... in description they always attribute it to a work drive but in reality it's whatever we feel we need and deserve that compels us~ right? that includes our lover~ lol yesh? My friend was very very passionate, almost in a Taurus way, once he fell he was so focused on her that it was work, her, work, her.His intensity impressed me. Other thing was, he'd work 70 hour weeks, and live like a literal "goat", then blow his money on some trifle luxury. He'd literally have a pack of bologna and a two liter of pepsi, and a box of swiss cake rolls..for the week. Then buy a 500 dollar baseball card! IP: Logged |

My mom is a Capricorn Sun with Capricorn Mars.
I love her to death. She’s also my best friend and I admire her so much. Haha I’m such a mamma’s girl.
These facts are true: She’s stubborn and will do everything in her power to achieve her goal— she's a phenomenal planner. She was a single Mom that worked her butt off in order to be where she is now. She enjoys the learning environment (she’s a teacher now), and she pushes her kids (even though we’re both in our 20s) to go for their goals.
She is in love with herself (or as she likes to say “full of herself”). She’s not the type to forgive and forget. Maybe forgive, but never forget. She likes long term relationships—heck, she’s only been in three all her life and each relationship lasted ten years long.

My Moon (Cap) is poisoned by Hades (Pluto) so I will only add bad things.  BUT, I AM a work-horse and WILL work 100 hr/weeks if possible. I do dress very nicely. I am artistic and am a walking encyclopedia when it comes to music. I am also very, very loyal to friends and family. I have a messed up sense of humor and appreciate it if you do to. I am 2 people; 1 work person and 1 private person. I like big dogs  IP: Logged |

 Cappy friend was rock solid, and COULD be unemotional, but it was more like he'd learned to not say anything over time as when he did he came off as badly as a Saggy can at times.

B/c they won't say anything at all! :lol: Perhaps they should a bit, Cappy's seem to just not want to embarrass themselves for any reason, but the only way to not embarrass oneself is to have gone through it before the moment at hand. I think Capricorns don't want to be Big **** Talkers with no substance. People like that are unreliable, something Earth signs avoid like the plague.
I can't tell you how much it annoys me to hear someone brag about a car their gonna buy or a tattoo they're gonna get, but you never see it...

The only Capricornish things about me is nice shoes on me and others, YES. I dont care if its nikes, flip flops, dockmartin boots as long as they clean and new looking. And when I really really really really want something everyone else becomes invisible to me. But that's it!!!I have no work ambition, no future plans ha, family doesn't mean the world to me it just means 'oh I know she'll loan me that 20$ cause she's my sister' get togethers don't exist in my family. A little bit, suspect Cappy's overcompensate by focusing later in life. My friend was a Ringling Brothers hawker for a year for example, loved it, but then "got serious" That sort of gypsy, wandering spirit never left though. IP: Logged |
