Well so my purpose is to find out more about virgo sun females-their thoughts and feelings preferably towards a gemini sun guy. Below are my superficial views on different sun females based on my interaction and experiences with them for the past 20 years of my life from a gemini point of view so pardon me if i do offend anyone Gemini - playful, attention seeking, Aries- domineering, bossy, thinks they can do whatever a man can do cancer- extremely emotional and sensitive Aquarius- Good to chat with can talk about almost anything, but they can be quite unpredictable and weird, enjoys freedom Libra - fun but they are the sort that like to pamper themselves and seeks comfort and luxury, can get along great though. Saggitarius - Probably the only sign that can talk to any gemini sun guys on the phone for days- they are honest and fun but sometimes selfish and stubborn and think their way is right although it might not be. Pisces- They like to avoid conflicts by changing subjects and they are very good at doing it subtly, but they are kind and compassionate to the extent of being like a people pleaser but a bitter one,i think they daydream alot and indulge alot in fantasies which they think it could be reality lol. Scorpio- smart, capable, in relationship may be abit manipulative and likes to be controlling to feel secure This leave me with a few sun signs that i havet yet to know off, probably dont click well enough and never seem to understand which are the taurus, capricorn, leo, and virgo. So obviously there are some similarities among them with capricorn, taurus and virgo which are all earth signs and leo which is a fixed sign which i conclude are too stable and serious for me which i think they see as not attractive to them?? But amongst them lies one that has intrigued me which are the virgo female and i realised although they are earth sign they are also mutable which was they reason why i still do get fun moments with them. But sometimes i feel they are too filial and they always put their families above everything, they can be selfish and the things they are selfish about are always their family or themselves not their friends or maybe even partners. They are very rational in the realistic/practical sense and are not like gemini who are abit more creative/idealistic which sometimes can shut off a gemini during conversations. The initial attraction with them is great for some reason which i cant explain why i just feel this way with a couple of virgo females, and i feel the need to understand them better and how they work. So any virgo sun females can share their views on gemini sun guys? or any gemini guys here have any experiences with a virgo female?? ------------------ Just a water monkey gemini guy

Virgo sun here...Gemini sun was my first honest/real love. He was my favorite BF... we really could talk about anything into the wee hours of the night on any night of the week. Youth and our foolishly moving too fast in the relationship was ultimately what broke us up but there were no hard feelings & nothing drama-filled. We are still friends (16 years later). ------------------ "Most people would rather be sheep and have company than stand out on their own with antlers on." — Tori Amos IP: Logged |

Well... Virgo ladies are known for their sex appeal even if we don't present ourselves as sexy. That may be a part of it anyway. ------------------ "Most people would rather be sheep and have company than stand out on their own with antlers on." — Tori Amos IP: Logged |

Virgo women are like this with everyone, I think. The main thing I notice about Virgo women (as a Taurus with Virgo Asc) is that they give off the impression of not being very ambitious, and of not doing just a ton to advance themselves in life. They analyze and judge people, however, according to a pretty high standard - including themselves. Virgo is the calculating and practical side of Mercury. If a Virgo woman gets the idea that you don't measure up to something important to her or didn't do something exactly right that she cared about, she'll figure that she won't be able to get what she wants through a relationship with you. In all, it's pretty tough to do everything right, especially if you don't know the girl all that well. So focus on being confident, initiating things, and figuring out how you feel about who she is - and what to do about it. I think if you show confidence and leadership in the interaction - and especially in the romantic and sexual aspects of it - you'll be in as good of stead with Virgo women as any other. Good luck! I'm a Libra girl, but its different. I act like a Virgo, because I'm shy and critical but my social nature wasn't fully tHERE, until recently when I realized that everyone has insecurities. And the human theory isn't to be outfront about it. To me BOTH mercury ruled signs arent nearly the same as water even if its chinese. Because Gemini energy is so scattered and careless. IP: Logged |

Hahaha your descriptions of the signs are pretty accurate Virgos always have an aura of purity, and they're always independent, often very intelligent and have strong opinions, even if it may not be clear at the start. They are quite stubborn and aren't the weak type. They appear quite controlled, and that's because they actually have a very soft center they feel uncomfortable showing, UNLESS they trust you. They can be hard to get to know, and hard to get emotionally, but they are very passionate, attentive and love to chat for ridiculous amounts of time when you get to know them better. I feel if you want something stable and long term, earth sign females are generally better. They're more consistent and no nonsense. IP: Logged |

I also find that Virgos can be very promiscuous, or sway to the other end of the spectrum. Either way, they're complex. IP: Logged |

I'm a Scorpio Sun, but I have Venus and Mars conjunct in Virgo.

Virgo is a mutable sign. Virgo energy doesn't usually lead or initiate.

I do this too.

I feel this way too. But keep in mind the self-critical aspect. Virgo is trying hard to be and to do everything right. One of the best things you can probably do for a Virgo is give them a sincere complement, or ask them for advice. Show that you noticed their attention to detail.

Bingo. Here's the common ground. Both Gemini and Virgo are ruled by Mercury, and both are mutable signs.

I'm on the other end of the spectrum. To the original poster:
It sounds like you're just looking at sun signs. There is more to synastry (astrological compatibility) than the sun. What are your and your romantic interests' ascendant/rising sign? Moon sign? Mercury? Venus and Mars? These may tell you more about compatibility than just checking sun signs. ------------------ My natal chart

Virgo sun female here...my longest and most serious boyfriend of almost 2 yrs is a Gemini sun. There is so much love in the friendship kind of way. We both like to laugh and play like kids. My criticism bothers him a lot and causes arguments. He tends to irritate me. Arguments can get very verbally bad but conversations last hours. Every Virgo-Gemini pair I know we're some the longest and loving relationships for Virgo and Gemini is absolutely smitten over Virgo. The pair leads to a lovers and best friends.IP: Logged |

Heh no offence though, but imo not really worth it if you consider/weigh the amount of effort vs gains after unlocking a critical and shy virgo girl which is so hard compared to the other signs available.. ------------------ Just a water monkey gemini guy IP: Logged |

^ well since you've never really gotten that far with a Virgo chick how would you know they're 'not worth it?'Virgo girls love deep unlike a lot of other signs that are more frivolous with their emotions. But then again, Gemini guys have the attention span of a goldfish lol so yeah, better stick to Aries, Sag and Aqua. IP: Logged |

I'm a Virgo with some experience with Geminis. I dated a Gemini guy once, but on top of that, I've been friends with several Geminis (mostly female Geminis though). Personally, I think the main differences lie in the fact that Geminis do tend to have a shallow understanding of a lot of things and they flit around too much from one thing to another. Virgos are thorough and enjoy deeper knowledge and understanding. Virgos are readers and Geminis are talkers (that's the best way I can describe it). Geminis typically don't seem to have time for deeper knowledge because their social schedules don't permit it (Geminis are often off pleasing other people, whereas many Virgos really don't give a crap about what other people think). Geminis are fun for awhile... But they can get tedious because they don't really have any serious attachment to most things and/or people. It can make them seem disingenuous about who they are. Virgos are really cut the crap types and so while it is fun to play with Geminis for a little while, we get tired of having to deal with excuses, lies, etc (not all Geminis do this, btw) about why they aren't there for you when you need them to be. I've only had ONE Gemini that was a genuinely good friend to me and was there for me when I needed her. The rest of them seemed to be a bit TOO changeable. It is true that Virgos are also mutable signs, but we're still earth signs and we build solid foundations in our relationships. If a Virgo thinks that you are going to ditch them when the next shiny thing/person comes along, they will tend to shut off to you because internally they attach very deeply and are very sensitive. That may be why you have a good initial attraction to them (in terms of friendships or whatever), but if you don't fit into that Virgo's 'system' (and yes, a lot of Virgos have internal 'systems' that you probably don't know about), then chances are the Virgo isn't going to stick around. You have to show them that you are going to be reliable in SOME manner. The whole Gemini- 'creative/idealistic/fun' thing is only fun to us when it's got some depth and action behind it. Otherwise it's just talk and castles in the sky... IP: Logged |
