The model pictured there has Venus conjunct Aries ascendant from the 12th house side, with a number of fortune aspects (exact conjunct Mars in Aries, sextile Jupiter in Aquarius, square Neptune in Cap, trine Saturn in Scorpio, inconjunct Pluto in Scorpio). All of that can factor into quite a stunning person--appearance and otherwise. So, placement and aspects can make a difference, too.

i knew some of that - was just pointing out the difference between a good looking celebrity that's known to be good looking (generally speaking) and a somehow "simple looking person" with Venus in House 1 - same old story: some placement or even the Sun sign alone, isn't enough to define us as a person or even, not enough even for our looks... there's always more to it than meets the eye... ^^

i stand by my answer as well lol . i'm realistic, not idealistic, that makes alot of people jump to all sorts of conclusions.

From an astrological point of view - afflicted Venus in House 1/ASC or afflicted ASC implies self esteem issues... and same goes for House 2 - in terms of self worth.

You're not being realistic if you relate beauty to physical/facial traits alone(they've stooped doing that even on major beauty contest) - that's a "superficial" perspective in terms of beauty... and truth be told "beauty is an illusion (literally - An illusion is a distortion of the senses, revealing how the brain normally organizes and interprets sensory stimulation. While illusions distort reality, they are generally shared by most people)." - It can rise interest for a person, but it doesn't show the "real" person just an attractive cover/package - which fades away quickly in a relationship. Real charm has very little to do with beauty (that would be superficial charm) and among male celebs - Gérard Depardieu could be a perfect example... he never seizes to surprise me ^^ - now, officially a Russian citizen since 5 January 2013 - citizenship granted by Putin himself:

...a rare example - he has Venus in house 1, that's true but it's paired with the Sun, Mars and Jupiter... not so good looking objectively speaking (as mentioned above - beauty is truly an illusion), yet many woman considered him very good looking... and i tend to believe that most of his charm is related to Jupiter and Pluto in trine with ASC (in terms of sex appeal) - since all above planets are in House 1/Capricorn but none in conjunction with his ASC which falls in Sagittarius.

One of my best friends is a Virgo with Aquarius ASC and Jupiter in ASC - i'd say he was good looking as a teenager, but girls i know don't consider him good looking when they see him, quite the opposite... yet - he has tons of charm... and i witnessed that myself wile going out quite often with him - girls that didn't give him a chance at first look - started liking him a lot after he started mingling with them ...well, he's very good with words - writing being among his main talents... but most of it comes from his natural charm (Jupiter).

You are correct... it's 2'nd time i make this mistake - confusing Venus sign with Mercury... Venus has no horns - but i keep think of it with horns for some reason...^^

i realize beauty is more then just looks ,i know that! i was simply commenting on the fact most venus conjunct ascendant descriptions mention good looks, in fact it a well known stereotype. . i was simply saying it doesnt apply to me, that is all.

Well since I am looking over Anna Nicole Smith's chart I'd say it depends on the planets being used. She had her Venus in the 1st conjunct her Asc in Libra and she was considered attractive and she had a odd sort of charm I suppose even during her more dizzier moments.

ToB is C rated + Moon could be tied to Venus as well so it's not the best of examples.

Venus in 1st house here.

My managers like me
my workmates like me
my customers like me

I take care of them all as much as I am able to, without trying to gain anything from them.

Follow the golden rule!
Why wouldn't anyone like this?

Venus in 1st house as well. I focus a lot on myself and have been called selfish before lol

ME! ME! ME!

Rings true to having a lot of planets in 1st house but as far as venus I'm pretty laid back but fiesty.
