Topic: Venus in the 1st house People

Does anyone here have Venus in their 1st house? Do you make friends easily? Do people graviate towards you and want to form friendships with you, without little effort on your part? DO people compliment you alot even when your not looking anywhere near your best? Are you always getting invited to social events even by people you barely know. Like where I work there are several clients/customers who makes statements like your the best and your so nice and really im just doing my job. its flattering i suppose but a bit weird too. I feel like my Venus in the 1st house makes people like me before they even know me. They want to become friend fast. They offer me gifts and favors like no ones business, small things but still get offered. I also find it strange because depending who you ask some people will tell you i am a ***** or hard to approach, but then some people are like your so nice and friendly. Maybe its all the mutability in my chart. idk whats your experience with hour Venus in the 1st house. IP: Logged |

I have venus conjunct asc 0 degrees lol
I hate this placement so much, its makes one so superficial.
The way I present myself to others is so important to me.
I spend 2 hours getting ready in the morning even if its the freaking dmv...
I spend so much time trying to look perfect and make others like me, because I'm afraid of rejection and scrutiny.
When I was young I was so carefree, I didn't care how I looked at all, or how I acted.
When I turned 15 things just started changing. People would comment on my appearance a lot, sometimes it was positive or just very critical harsh. I would sit back and think, people are actually this harsh and critical wtf?Even now I get strange comment sometimes, like they're trying to knock my off my high horse..lol Bitccch I'm perfect, get over it. One the positive note, I do get a lot of photographers from my college asking me to model for them . I have to say, the attention never gets old hahaha. Sometimes I do it too.
Also every time I enter a room everyone just stares for a minute........,I was the dmv this morning..... I was like, I COME IN PEACE! I think I can be very likable if I try, I can be really excitable and talkative. I think people can feel really comfortable around me. I use to have a lot of friends in high school. I feel you on the attention thing. I think it makes me awkawrd sometimes cuz I am shy and easily blush when complemented or getting too much attention. IP: Logged |

I like to present myself well too and then I have day when I just dont give a hoot and thats when I notice people will make comments. Like im not living up to my potential or something. Like who wants to be on all the time. One thing about my look is that I am always changing it, never look the same for too long.IP: Logged |

^ I was thinking maybe those harsh comments were also because sun and mercury conjunct my asc. I might come across as self confident and vain... That might **** of people.
Lol I love compliments, I sort of expect it too. They make me happy.
Thats why I spend so much time finding nice clothes to wear all the time.

YOu have a point I think I do the finding nice clothes for the same reason as you. SOmetimes I just dont care though and other times I want to wow the crowd. IP: Logged |

I have Venus conjunct my Pisces ascendant from the 12th house side (2 degree orb), so it gets interpreted in the 1st. I've been complimented on my appearance before. I've been at restaurants and after glancing around, have noticed women on dates gazing at me. I've experienced all sorts of flattering things, as I'm sure others with Venus in the 1st have, too. i have aquarius venus in the 1st conjunct ascendant and i tend to attract friends pretty easily. but personally i think venus in 1st is kind of overrated, i dont get complimented on my looks very much nor would i consider myself very handsome. i wouldnt exactly describe myself as charming either.IP: Logged |

well thank you. i'm not denying that a few people find me attractive, but i'm far from being the heart throb that all the interpretations for venus in the 1st suggest. since he has already been mentioned i will use clooney as an example: most women (not all) find him very handsome. venus in 1st is supposed to bestow

H1 Venus refines and enhances your genes given looks,but without Asc ruler,it can't do much other than that. Now,if Venus rules H1 and conj the Asc,that's another story.
The one which is comfortable in H1 (10°+ in H1) doesn't even do that. It gives appeasing,likeable appearance. "you're pretty but you don't really geopardize me so I am very relaxed around you"

I have Venus in Scorpio H1. My answer to your question is no. I guess it really depends on what kind of environment you had when you were growing up...my parents used to choose who I should be friends with and who I should hang out with, I've never even went to a 'sleepover' before not once in my life and my parents will be like "you have your own room here (in our house), own bed, and everything, why sleep with someone else's house?!" and I guess it limits the my chances of making new friends and hence getting invited in parties etc..IP: Logged |

I looked at a chart of my friends daughter last night because I went over to visit and she has Venus in the 1st house as a singleton. She is the cutest little thing and such a charmer. She is gonna break a lot of hearts that's for sureIP: Logged |
