Honestly babies scare me sometimes 'cause like they're just these little things that live off of us and command all this love and attention? Like what if they were actually intelligent and just used natural instinct to their advantage or something lmao! Scifi.

O.O Maybe? Babies are going to take over the world with their cuteness! And natural abilities to DEMAND and GET things they want. Like little brats?

I thought I had it all planned out~ lmfao

Since the beginning, I'd always said I never wanted biological children. Always thought I'd end up adopting three girls or at least three siblings from another country once I'd turned 30 and had settled into my career (whatever it would have been). ^^;

I also figured if I had a worthy partner/donor that I'd be open to having biological children only after turning 32... and not after 35. (Yep, I'm so harsh I gave myself and partner a 3 year window.) lmao

NOW - lol I had my son in April of my 23rd year and was married June of the same year... lol Nothing worked out how I'd planned it, but c'est la vie!~

I have a incredibly rambunctious, entirely too handsome, smartypants, smart-mouthed, Aries Sun/Libra Moon/Leo Rising (Mars in Aquarius/Venus in Taurus) bundle of fun to gloat over and coddle way too much!~

I only want the one I have now... I would only consider local adoption after foster parenting, and would only adopt an older child/children... only if I felt absolutely secure enough to do so. (although patience is not my strong point, and adoption is very iffy-chancy waiting game...)

(But definitely non-biological from here on out --- This is for health reasons mostly. I do not care to pass on my newly discovered genetic error, and would not have, if I had known before conceiving my firstborn.)

Placements:
I'm a 5th House Sun, Ruler in 3rd House Scorpio conjunct Ishtar-Eros, Pluto in Scorpio conjunct Mars, Leo 11th/12th.

I have 9th House Moon conjunct Chiron trine my Sun exact, opposite Saturn in Scorpio 3rd House, 9th House ruler in 4th House cnj South Node, and Uranus, Sagittarius with Jupiter IC ruler in its domain, and Cancer in the 11th House. ^^; which is probably why my views on children have always been restricted or reserved, despite my 5th house Sun trine Moon, and 4th house stellium/placements that favour having a large family.

Instead I tend to take on/care for the elderly and to animals more often than children... which also is seen in the aspects of my chart. I would still love to adopt though, and my friends have named me godparent to their children, so I'm not entirely without multiple children in my life... just not really my own biological lot! XD I attract children all the time, although I can't see why... my size, or my Sun... though I'm a really a tough love type of mother... they seem to not mind. @__@ it's weird... I guess I give good hugs... and it is my nature to care for hurt, lost, and incapable beings... Venus-Uranus - Aquarius 5-6th House... Ceres is conjunct BM Lilith, conjunct my Dsc Node. lol idk if that's a very good thing though~ hahaha *steals other people's children* mwahahaha

...that covers it. lol

:O Oh no! Plans gone wrong! D: ;D But you love the little bugger

And Omg! I have a 4th house stellium and I DEFINITELY want a huge family! Always have. I only have 4 siblings. It's definitely not enough for me! Adopting eh? How many? Why only older kids? And animals? and... OLD people? D:

(the long - short of it) -really- it is!
I have Venus on the South Node (holding onto the past/love of the past), conjunct to Uranus who rules Aquarius in my 5th-6th Houses (5th brings us enjoyment, 6th is career and health related), all in the 4th house (family/respite), which is ruled by Sagittarius whose ruler is in stellium with my chart ruler Mercury, and Neptune who rules my descendant... (adding to the desire to bring good things to others/extending the family), but Venus also rules my 9th and 2nd houses, the things we cherish are 2nd house matters, financial too... and 9th is for higher education and spiritual fulfillment... (where my moon is situated)... but, I have Cancer in 11th (groups/friendships/adopted children)...

I earned my living before becoming a homemaker, as being a nursing assistant, and was studying/in school to become a registered nurse... then I moved to another country, and has a child.... and married... and have spent the last 5 years in immigration limbo. ^^; But, my greatest joy is in caring for the elderly, hospice, rest homes... (it all goes back to my 4th,5th,6th houses.. which are the highlights of chart)

Animals are tied into the Moon in Taurus trine Sun, and the 4th house as well...

4th house stellium wishes to expand their family... I have North Node Gemini though, and afflictions to my Moon.

All together that indicates that I've needed to separate myself from my old ways, the failings I had in my own relationship to my parents, and to learn to be my own parent, and accept others into my family... usually by way of my 11th house... friendships are /the/ most important to me... the patients I worked for, were my friends and then my family, my coworkers were my friends and then my family, and starting my own family... while not easy... has been another lesson in separating from what I had in that wild and crowded 4th house environment as a child... and starting with anew... on my own terms, not tied to the ones that were ingrained in me in my youth. ^^;

Anyway that's how /I/ have come to break down the pattern, partly from my own observation of the aspects and in large part to study...

older kids.... that's simple!!!

I kept very close inventory of everything we went through with our son as an infant.... I didn't sleep for the first 4 months of his life, I swear to the heavens, I DO NOT remember closing my eyes ever, voluntarily... I passed out, sure... and that was dangerous for all of us. lol

My son was an alien when he was born btw... lmfao OH but, soon as I saw his ramlike 'V' in his forehead, I couldn't help but laugh/cry.... XD he was huge and not very wrinkly though... he was extremely healthy despite the complications. ^^; And, imho - they only need about a month to look like cute lil humanoids, with their adorable tiny toes, and hobbit hands.... with babies... my love for buying shoes goes to a whole other level... I adore baby feet... just sayin... hahaha But, older kids... they can use the facilities on their own mostly, or nearly so, more often than not... and they are passed the teething stage, and less likely to vomit all over you at the most inopportune moments... XD or so I would hope!
Plus it's easy to feel a bit tied down when you have a tiny infant... whereas you can do more things/activities with the older ones... lol

*distracted a bit* lol hopefully that was somewhat cohesive~

do any of the planets in your stellium rule over your descendant? ^^; that could be part of the reason you want a very large family for yourself~

When I was into the idea of adoption, I was with my exbf who had a vasectomy nearly 10 years before we were together, with little hope for a reversal... (but he has many biological children and adopted children before having the procedure done, truth be told, this is why he had it done...) So, I began to consider it more appealing around that time... I was always crunching numbers though... how much money we'd need to adopt, how much money we'd need to spend between this year and that, and on this or that item... how many times that would be possible... how to make it possible... lmfao
I think if we'd faired better, we would have adopted one for sure... but, he already had twins, and about 3-4 or more out there that he didn't know about... and we had our own private petting zoo... really didn't /need/ to add anymore to the mix. lol When I'd first met my husband, my son's father..... I thought we'd end up with twins because his mother is a twin, and his uncles... lots of twins on both sides of both of our families... haha it's another reason why, though I know I am capable of having more, that I wouldn't dare to try... 2 children~ at once... !the financial responsibility... oh dear... =x (such a Cappy usn-Tauro Moon when it comes to managing logistics!)

^^

You're so... OPEN about your life. It seems.

And nope. Mercury is in the Pisces stellium but not the 4th house stellium.

Thanks for explaining!

The girl who read my palm told me two boys and two girls. She also told me that I have a million other little lines, and she did say that they may be "soul" children I take into my life. I do plan on working with children!

I want three boys, one girl.

@ ElizabethO

the other little lines she was probably/possibly referring to are either on your mound of venus - which represent the people we cross paths with in the course of this life, in general, and we in some small way effect their lives... (ripple effect - hence these ripple lines) --- or the lines beneath your litter finger, that's generally where children and marriage is read from... (although I can't say it's the only location to look, it is the only place I was taught or have learned of in my near 20 years of study) If she read from those lines, having many... could also be children of our partner(s), and animals who we care for as though children...

I have one two marriage lines (I was technically married to my ex by state law), he had many children... two of which became like children of mine, and we had 2 dogs, and 2 snakes, and an impressive iguana, and then some others... lol My line which would clearly indicate that relationship... shows 4 children, two are more vibrant (the dogs)... lol

So it really depends where your reader was looking exactly... I've never heard soul children used in palmistry... but, maybe she was a new age/psychic kind or something...

just thought I'd share~ <3

either way she meant you will act as a mother to many, or effect the lives of many... both very good things, I believe!~ ^^

I have nothingggggg in my fifth house except a few asteroids LOL.

Gemini is on the cusp.

I want kids, yeah - at least two, three, tops. I'm just really adamant about not putting a kid in the position of being an only child if I can help it.

I have three children But I have also had two miscarriages, one nearly took my own life too (ectopic).

I knew from a young age I wanted them, but I only saw myself with two!

To answer your question, my fifth house is in Sagittarius and the only planet in that house is Neptune.

My Moon is exhalted in Taurus, sitting at the top of my chart in the 10th house. It is well aspected, trining Venus and Jupiter, opposite Uranus.

My Venus is less well aspected, opposite Jupiter and squaring Pluto.

Cant really think what else in the chart would point towards wanting/having children. I think my moon says alot.

adding to that I see people are mentioning the 4th house.

My 4th house/IC is in Scorpio. I have Pluto and Uranus sitting there.

To me the 4th house is more about your own family background. My Scorpion father personifies my 4th house Pluto, if you could imagine a 4th house Uranus and Pluto childhood - that would be mine.

I dont see it as being relevant to my own family now but I can say that I want to do everything differently. No way in hell will my children experience what I did.

*I had mentioned IC because that's where my Venus is and My Moon is in 9h Taurus~
Therefore the houses of the Taurus's ruler are also important to me in the mothering I do and have received... I tend to look for the bigger picture and patterns, not just one or two or what is most obvious.

Also the 4th house's natural ruler is Cancer... cancer rules my 11h... 11h is related to both marriage (after the first) and adoptions - ... Jupiter rules over expansion, Sagittarius lords over my 4th and entire chart (along with Merc)... so, expanding my family, including my extended family has always and will always be important to me...

It's also because it is where /my/ South Node is and it is part of my SN/NN path/purpose.... and it relates to how my 5th-6th house Aquarius influence plays into things... (my career/love of old people, because I was asked to explain... causes and groups that include them and their care/rights....)

http://raginguniverse.blogspot.ca/2007/03/south-node-in-cancer-or-fourth-house.html

You can't look at the moon without looking at the house it rules naturally, I believe... again... I look for patterns and big pictures... ~sorry for any confusions! ^^

anyway - IC is related not just to our own childhoods...
