btw I love all breeds.

When I was a kid I drew up very detailed plans for a future shelter I thought I might have one day. And built a dog bed and kept it in my room for a few years, even though I didnt have one.

I was obssessed with all things dog for a number of years. Read all the books I could get my hands on about breeds and training and thought I could eventually wear my mother down into letting me get one, by begging for one everyday. It didnt happen (she's a Cancer Sun, Cappy moon and rising).

I'm Taurus Sun, Virgo Moon, Cappy Asc. Jupiter in the 6th (pets) in Cancer -- Jupiter is exalted in Cancer, best placed in that sign. It's a caretaker placement, especially when it comes to animals or wanting to heal anything that is sick.

Pisces. Not a dog fan much, I don't understand why so so -so- many people have one for a pet.
That being said.
There is a breed of dog that I love seeing, Pomeranians being walked outside,

I like the lil prance
the out-to-there fluff
almost as if they're dancing as they shimmy down the sidewalk
the tail itself is just sass overload which is endearing

But I can't have one anyway. Allergic to fur.
Still I find them incredibly precious, so if I were not allergic this would be my #1 and only choice.

That's awesome. Yeah, it really is a shame. I think slowly people are becoming more aware of what the breed is truly all about and really like though. (hopefully!)

They are extremely cuddly, which is what i like about them. Big, thick, lovable and cuddly.

I remember one time taking a nap on our bed and the pit came in and literally spooned me, snuggled up close and took her leg and threw it over my legs, and put her big block head right in the back of my neck and fell asleep with me.

Later my ex came home and into the bedroom and the dog looked up like, wth?

he asked if he was interrupting anything....

it was quite intimate and nice. LOL so i guess he was.

Can't quite cuddle like that with my tiny 4 pound chihuahua.

that is so adorable. they are such snuggle butts. the moo cow spot pibbles are my absolute fav! bonnie and clyde look like awesome partners in crime

there's something wrong with the thread. I couldn't edit mine from the very first night... when it finally updated it was morning the next day. I also can't add anymore posts~ (barring this one, I hope... guess we'll see if it takes.)

I'd intended on posting 2 parts (separate post) of my favourite breeds - cause I can't just pick one... >.< the second post would not go through... I waited and tried excessively to make it work the other day... then, I just gave up. I'm not editing or trying again~ >.<; *failure*

I love this thread though! <333

So many lovely animals, and amazing LL pet lovers! <3 I got teary eyed a few times goin through here! happy tears though, mostly!

anyway - several posts were moved/disappeared since the beginning... I honestly think it may have something to do with images/sizing/shear overload..

@___@ but really~ iunno! ; ;

*hopes this post goes thru, just to have something work here* *crossefingers*

Libra here .

My prefered breed types are Spitz types . My dog happens to be a mix between two very distict breed types; Alaskan Huskey and Norwegian Elk Hound.

Meet my good friend "Maximus" .

He is getting a bit old now and it shows through his sombre temperment. However, he can be QUITE energetic when he has to be . Above all, the loyalty I recieve from this guy is just... Pure and strong.

He has a sad past behind him... Infact it relates directly to my disdain for self proclaimed "animal lovers." But I am not going to get into that right now.

He is an amazing Dog .

I like *most* dogs..but my favorite breeds are: Irish Setters, Irish Wolfhounds, Whippets, Salukis, Maltese, Bulldogs...not in any particular order. Most Sagittarians I know, like myself, love dogs, horses or cats.

This is Gracie, my Whippet mix...she's the sweetest, calmest, most fun dog ever

and Zoe, my Chihuahua/Dachshund mix:

Hmmmmmm, for me, a gal with Sun in Aries it would be a Rough Collie. Shetland terriers are cool too.....a mini version of the Rough Collie.

I couldn't possibly list off all of my favorite dog breeds. But I will list off potential breeds that I would want in my future as a pet. Something active, medium-sized. Or active, small-sized. I'm a small person, and I don't think I'd do well with really large dogs. I'm a Sagittarius.

1.) Australian Shepherd/German Shepherd mix:

2.) Doberman/Shepherd mix:

3.) Jack Russell Terrier

Honestly, though, I will probably just adopt whatever I can from an animal shelter. I can't get enough of pets!

Resurrecting this thread since I'm trying to find a new puppers right now. I love all dogs too but have to give a special shout to my 3 year old Buddy a pit mix & best dog I've ever had!

We're not sure what he is but seems like some combination of mastiff, pitbull, boxer, greyhound/lurcher, and maybe even a bit of Lab. Kind of like the extinct English Alaunt they're trying to bring back.

He is amazing! So athletic. He runs and leaps like a greyhound with the sturdiness of a mastiff & spunk and clownish, game nature of the pitbull. He talks a bit like a lab and basically has endless energy. He needs a friend to tire him out!!! lol.

(crap, can't load the images right - oh well!)

I'm a Libra sun, Aries ascendant and Scorpio moon... this is so hard! I like so many!! I think I'm more into cats due to the cuddly not jumping around everywhere nature.
My last dog was a Neapolitan Mastiff X, so generally I prefer big dogs due to their calm temperaments.
Cuteness wise I REALLY love Japanese Spitz!
