^^ But, that's a part of me that I keep well hidden though.

I find it secretly funny when a guy gets drunk and I'm like you just had a few whisky glasses

We're just "humans" what do you expect? ^^ At first... those that meet me for the first time - start to wonder about my introspective nature/approach (i tend to analyze their behavior, their way of speaking and their subjects of interest) - which might be a Gemini thing (getting tuned in) - i was asked more than once if I'm a psychologist... but after few drinks... well - they're even more confused about it (all of a sudden - i turn extrovert) but - obviously, they know - it's the alcohol... though - my friends want/like me like that (i can be entertaining - i guess...) ^^

I prefer Brandy or Wine. ^^

Do you have any crippling addictions? Lack of direction in life; an unclear sense of self? Too idealistic? and so on. These are all possible manifestations of Neptune.

I can definitely relate to this. Neptune conjuncts my sun. Although it is not exact (3° orb) and it is not the only planet aspecting it, I can feel the effects of it.
I used to daydream a lot. I still do. It's a constant struggle for me to keep my feet on the ground and actually be preoccupied with reality. Kind of hard to explain but I used to make up stories in my head and I was sort of living there. Not that I have any mental problem or anything. This was a way to escape reality and not having to face it. And when I was forced to do so I hated it because it wasn't like anything I wanted to at all. Saturn hangs near my neptune so for a while I was very depressed by the fact that reality was very different from how I had expected it to be. I felt stuck.
I don't drink or smoke, and my conservative big three (cap sun and moon, cancer asc) certainly play a huge part in this and it's better that way because I can become addicted to anything quite easily. There again it is mostly a way to not deal with real life issues, hurts etc..
The victim part is also dead on point. There is something about neptune that makes you feel so powerless. Taking actions in bettering oneself and changing one's life becomes so very tiring and difficult because of this.

So yes, neptune is an elusive evil in that sense. Where staurn makes you face the hard truth and makes you work to actually do things better, where pluto transforms you and when used wisely makes you more aware of your own repressed needs, neptune just makes you close your eyes and lets yo uescape to a world of your own. The coming back to reality can be very painful.

I think all planets have a destructive side.
Nature its self is very destructive and cruel.
Venus can make people very tyrannical.
Hitler was a great example of a Venusian gone wrong.

I just like a good wine - that's the only condition "has to be good"... preferably, a good red wine but you won't see me complaining about a good wine either. ^^

Even cheap wine can be good (10$ bottle or less) but... though, 2003 was a good year and Dom Romanee Conti (2003 production) - is among the best of it's kind... so yeh - i wouldn't mind having a glass of such exquisite wine either. ^^

That he did - in his relationships with women - which is true, that didn't go well - for the ones that felt in love with him. But beyond his private life, the tyrant that the world knew... well - he managed that with his Neptune conj. Pluto in Gemini (House 8) influences. This "man" dazzled many of his people, if not most - "as if he was a God" - probably, same as Caesar did in his time... he convinced them in to doing horrible atrocities - that are disturbing even to this day...

Stop beating up on those poor guys who have no idea...

Eh, I have Neptune in my 9th house, and Sextiling Pluto and in the past had very self destructive tendencies.

BUT, it has moderated over time, and yes, when the mood strikes I can put away a prodigious amount of booze.

noticed Hitler has the biquintile aspects of neptune with his moon and Jupiter and quintile with saturn. The biquintiles and quintiles are gift aspects right? He has quite a few of those in his chart!
