I think there's many reasons why a scorpio woman would fall for a pisces man. One thing about Pisces men (and women) is their ability to understand the psyche without prejudice. Most Pisceans I know are pretty unshakable by anything that you tell them.

A Pisces will listen without judgement and truly empathise to the point where the Scorpio would feel, finally, that she's found someone with whom she can truly relax and be herself with without having to keep up the constant power struggles and mind control games. In a word, she can let down her defences...almost.

I think Demi Moore and Bruce Willis are a very good example of this combination, they are no longer together but they have maintained a very mature and close relationship for the sake of their children. When Ashton cheated on her, it was Bruce who leapt to her defence.

I had a relationship with a Pisces once, and it started with his soft and gentle touch on my shoulder. He was a Pisces with Aqua venus and too cold for me and somehow too feminine and bitter, always complaining that he couldnt get enough feminine attention, while he was with me! Aqua venus brrr...

Now Im wooed by a more masculine Pisces with Aries Venus and Mercury and Aqua moon. At first he appeared soft to me, but after getting to know him better I realise that he is very masculine and I LIKE IT. His Pisces sun adds a magical touch.

What attracts me to these men? They are spiritual and compassionate and kind. As a Scorpio dominated woman I have been emotionally traumatized and I feel that I cant trust people in general, but these men get me, they give me the silent, unconditional understanding that is very soothing. All my complexes disappear. On the other hand I can feel that they are attracted to my strengh and passion, as if I provided them a support to lean on. i adore pisces men.

I think that although most Scorpio women prefer excitement over complacency, some like the relaxing and soothing nature of a Scorp/Pisces relationship. It depends on other influences the chart. For example in mine, I have a Pisces moon/Neptune in the 7th so even if I'm Scorpio dominant (Sun-mars-pluto conjunction in Scorpio), I am not really repelled by Pisces men

I don't hate the Pisces Sign. In fact I think Pisces Rising gals are the MOST BEAUTIFUL and easily my ideal Rising Sign in a girl along with Leo Rising!

In fact my favorite fictional character, Scarlett O'Hara, probably has the inverse of me-she's undoubtedly a Scorpio with probably with Pisces Rising!

I also LOVE Pisces Moon girls. So artistic and dreamy personalities.

As for Pisces not being masculine......

Why George Washington was a Pisces and he's anything but a weakling (though he does have the coldest Sign Capricorn Moon and one of the most muscular signs Taurus as his Asc in his chart).

Daniel Craig is a Pisces and he's the latest James Bond(the EPITOME of the stereotypical Scorpio man) .

This is a perfect description. I think the growth cycle can be very difficult with a stereotypical Pisces because they can be too in the clouds and if you already have a lot of spiritual energy in your chart... it might be a little too static.

EDIT: Oh yeahhhh! I just remebered, I WAS romantically attracted to a Piscesean! well, he has a Pisces moon and although he has an Aries sun, his sun Squares neptune which adds to the Piscesean influence. I don't know what his ascendant is but I think he's a Pisces asc (I'm really bad at guessing ascedants because I end up picking out the other influences so I'm not really sure XD)

It baffles me how I forgot this one! I was actually VERY attracted to him-- I immediately felt a connection. I was wary of it at first because he was drunk when I first met him XD anyways after getting to know him better, I started to see the good points and began to like him more. But then, because of.. ehrm. unchangeable circumstances, I decided to halt my feelings for him and decided to stay friends.

Sooo yeah, I conclude that I like Pisces energy
