thats interesting indeed, I have Libra Rising. I learn fast but i do also have stubborn tendencies. in my life i only have read a dozen books or so to its full extend. i know exactly which book is relevant and which isnt, that is ofcourse in accord with my own content. usually they are rare ones. I love to read but at the same time im not a person who likes to read hundreds of books. besides, there is no book you can read because the one who reads is the inner self. in other words; i dont think someone who have read hundreds of books is smarter or wiser than someone who have read less. That means that i should only read what really fits my content. IP: Logged |

Plutonic Capricorn And what does fit to you for reading if you decide to read? I'm one of them who reads thousands of books but this is definately cause my Moon is in Virgo. Moon often shows what a person will be collecting. I'm collecting books I do even sometimes buy 5-6 books at a time and start reading them only after a year or two. I like buying books as a process. It has a high meaning for me and I do have a huge bookshelf. Plutonic Capricorn I'm from easteurope. IP: Logged |

Aries Mercury in the 2nd/3rd. But I think it reflects my duad in Cap most. More practical than anything I suppose since most are in my career field. Or my Merc-Pluto opposition. Medicine, surgery, astrology, Tarot, psychology, some literature - classics, I don't think I own one single book written by a contemporary, novels, almost NO poetry. I think I have 1-2 cooking books somewhere. Some self-help books. Travel guides. And some books on opera and also art that I didn't get to read yet. IP: Logged |

@ FreesiaMy 1st house got me into lot of trouble and into fights too, especially in my teenage years. Nearly nobody could tell me something. Mars and Scorpio in 1st house conjunct, this got me kicked out of high school. lol I have also noticed that some people with prominent 1st house are not to be provoked, I mean they could easily turn things into a personal vendetta. Like my teachers back in the day, if they approaced me in a superior way instead of calm, that would mean they tried to challenge me, it meant war. So, during exams I answered my own answers or rather, I would add my own flavour into it. then i got a huge F lol. Just because schoolbooks says this or that doesnt mean I cant add my own feelings or thoughts. I like to expand. Or other days in class when a teacher held a speech and then we could raise hands and ask questions, I'd said things that would irritate him, intimidate him and turn the tables around when a teacher turn into a student and a student into a teacher. lol it was the same when the time came to hold a presentation. well, im never arrogant to learn, I love to learn. i just like to tease and instigate, especially those in positions of authority, such as teachers. I believe we all eventually should become both student and teachers, especially within ourselves. you sound like a nerd, a person with that many houses in the 1st sounds more like a soldier or warrior to me. but then again, i dont know whether your a boy or a girl. I have a 3rd house stellium so at times or often im way too fickle to read books. but I can concentrate immensely if I want to. But it has to be a subject or book which really attracts me, in this case I could read for hours, if not days. My books of interest are metaphysics, esoteric, spiritual, ancient/history, occult and warfare. basically things of spiritual antropology in nature. books that are extraordinary or has a magical touch and mystical allure the most. Mercury in 12H Aries. I love books about spirituality, philosophy, consciousness, and psychology. My taste in books is very Piscean/Neptunian. My favorite is 'Jitterbug Perfume' by Tom Robbins but 'Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test', 'Kabbalah Unveiled', a few Tarot books and a couple books on astrology are also on my shelf. I also like to read sacred texts like the Upanishads and the Vedas, the Tibetan Book of the Dead, etc. Mercury in Aries makes me an avid reader; the 12th house makes me interested in spirituality and transcendence IP: Logged |

Mercury falls in Taurus/House 11. I used to be a tech geek - and at one point i had a huge collection of IT magazines but latter - they weren't worth buying anymore. Was more convenient (faster and far better detailed) to get the info from the main source (the digital library of all libraries). Around 10 years ago - I've started reading this big book with billions of pages called "The Internet (and that would be "the digital library of all libraries")" - but something tells me - "I'll never reach the end of it (keeps growing.. yesterday was estimated at around 14.71 billion pages)". It's a book about everything - and i do mean "EVERYTHING" - It's just that - i have to be selective in what i read (or watch), cause there's also a lot of garbage in "this book"... eclectic learner - but also an eclectic reader. With Mercury in 11'th house - one might also be interested in reading people ...or books about people. Mark Twain was one of my favorites authors back in childhood, i enjoyed reading even autobiographies like "Memories of my boyhood by Ion Creanga (this one was required for school, nonetheless - i had a lot of fun reading it)" and "The original sin - a self portrait by Anthony Quinn" - but, that's saying to little - most books are about people and if it's a good story (either real or fictional) - i might be interested. I did enjoy reading even Harry Potter - I'm not ashamed to admit it... though, i didn't read Twilight - but i did watch the movie. ------------------ [☼ ► ♊ ... ☾ ► ♈ ... Ⓐsc. ► ♋]

Sagittarius Mercury in 11th House:I have books everywhere. I just received dozens of books from my uncle who is moving into a smaller location. They are filling my car. They are in boxes. I don't like my books or someone else's books being thrown away. What are they about? One of the main subjects is philosophy/psychology/spirituality/self help kind of a mesh. Also I have lots of "classics". I also have quite a few library books that I never returned. I am going to get to that I promise! Kurt Vonnegut Jr, I have a lot of his books. IP: Logged |

Yep, this is Pluto that does not allow to do anything against your will, you will do what and how you want if you think this is right. Noone can push me to do anything what I do not want. Though I have Pluto in 12th but Scorpio is enough powerful in my chart lol, and I have Uranus there aswell, this is called revolution. Oh, I like Jeanne d'Arc type of woman (I'm a girl ), sometimes I think if there will be a war I would act somewhat like her. Speaking about teachers - I never acted like you described, I liked and respected most of my teachers but my parents had a hard times w me at home espetially when I had Pluto periods, this energy was incredible. Good that I did sports otherwise I was able to ruin a house. But you have this Pluto energy more to outwards. I think you can achieve a lot when driven to a particular direction (Saturn conj) can you? I'm leading this energy inside myself and my mind, subconcious, transforming and expanding it. That is probably why I spent all my childhood reading books. My dream job even was to work in a library LOL IP: Logged |

FreesiaJust because I'm somehow aggressive doesn't mean I can't show respect. On the contrary, I'm respectful towards my elders and especially those who are powerful. I look up to them. Its just sometimes I like to question and challenge, that's all. Nothing wrong with that if you'd ask me. In my mind there's always something to learn from situations, always something to benefit, even though sometimes I may come on too strong which some people may mistake this for arrogance or being rude. Capricorn loves to wonder. I can be pretty single minded on a goal I've set. Very intense and ambitious. Jeanne d'Arc, now that sounds better! With that many placements in the 1st house you are bound to manifest your energies outwards even if you're a girl. Women are soldiers too. I hope if you talk about sports that would include some martial arts, perhaps muay thai? Its kinda lame to read books only without much action, that would be weak! I don't have pluto conj saturn, do you? 1st house to me is all about action!

I'm afraid I'm not a massive reader...in between family and work I dont really get the time. I love gossip magazines (yes I know, I know - but at least I'm honest! )BUT the books I do own are mainly concerning past lives and reincarnation. My favourite author is Dr Brian L Weiss (Journey of Souls etc). I have always had a facination with reincarnation and life after death (even as a child - my mother will tell you I had a morbid curiosity about death!. His books reinforce many of my existing beliefs. I also have a number of biographies - I have four alone on Madonna, one of them I have had since I was about 12!! My Mercury in Pisces makes many aspects; Trine both Jupiter and Uranus, Square Neptune and sextile Venus 8th house IP: Logged |

Then I'm weak! LOL In fact level of my physical energy is no high. I'm acting mentally. A lot. Our world is not defined by physical energy. This is just an outcome/result. I thought you had pluto conj Saturn but probably I mistaken, both where in 1st house. Sorry. My Pluto is all alone in my 12th
