On the off chance you'd actually be interested, I heard somewhere that some guys find such jeans convenient to help hide their frequent arousal (and if this is the case then he also likely wears long shirts).

That said, enough authority figures hate them and try to outlaw them that they just become that much more appealing to boys under a certain age.

I think my heavy Sag (philosopher aspect) & Libra (likes to weigh ideas that are understandable) make it so that I like clear communication. Heavy use of logical errors, frequent or grievous appeals to emotion that sabotages clear thought, or any loud, obnoxious behavior (such as name calling) annoy me be it in real life or online. A little profanity doesn't bother me but when it becomes constant then I think of the person as mentally deficient (I'm baffled that some are impressed by it). Naturally, blatant liars really get under my skin, and people who make a conscious choice to believe a chronic liar.

I believe my strong Sag also makes it so that I don't appreciate constant clinginess (which includes constant texting, especially if a person texts while driving or expects someone else to). However, this doesn't bother me in others, if that's what they want with each other then more power to them, but I don't deal well with it. And I know many people who are constantly texting each other and it doesn't bother me (usually), though I did get furious when one guy demanded my BFF text him even though he knew she was driving, and it was for an incredibly moronic question (I suspect he just wanted attention and/or it was seeking a sense of power he got from controlling her).

And I believe it's my Libra that makes me hate bullies that try to dehumanize & destroy others through a variety of methods, from violent to diabolically subtle. This is also the likely reason why I sometimes become so annoyed with head games that people play on each other (which are inherently dishonest & unfair), especially if the head game player gets angry at their victim for not getting the response they hoped to engineer.

Offhand I can't think of anything else that normally gets under my skin.

Guys who flirt with every girl

Guys who talk about dieting (I don't care about the actual dieting, I just don't want to hear about it)
I generally like a guy with a hearty appetite.

  • Lack of curiosity.
  • Lack of a sense of humor.
  • Lack of intelligence - there's my form of shallowness.
  • Pre-Copernican view of himself in relation to others
  • Too prissy.
  • Too crude.
  • Lack of passion - it doesn't have to be sensual, but he has to be passionate about something.

5th House Pisces Moon, 3rd House Aqua Moon, Scorpio Asc, 7th House Venus in Taurus, 10th house Mars in Leo.

-Guys who take what I say literally "You wanna shoot the sh-?" And they'd stand there looking like an A.D.D. slowpoke wondering what I meant because it makes no sense, literally.

-Guys who aren't on some level spiritual. I don't really care for religious guys, but atheists or practical guys (ones who aren't even open to exploring various beliefs or learning about it) blech. Boring, and I see them as fearful.

-Guys that waste my time with stupid conversation. I hate fluff in conversation. Let's talk about the news, the dream you had last night, your mom's surgery...I guess the other half of this is guys who are not genuine or open. I would like to think I have the kind of honest energy that if someone asked about me or my life, they knew what I said was true.

-Dirty hands. That's gross...clean your nails up.

-Insecurity. It destroys almost every moment within a relationship because (in my experience) the person was always trying to overcompensate for their lack of confidence in their worth, but since I thought they were fine to begin with it just comes off condescending, pretentious, superior, etc.

Peachbeigeblue brought up a good point! I like a guy with a hearty appetite too. (Taurus moon too)

Oh, and I don't like it when guys need to have an alcoholic drink at every meal. I didn't grow up with parents who "unwound" that way, and maybe they didn't either, but it's not my first pick when I'm trying to de-stress.

^ This.

Also when I was single, if a guy was very late to pick me up for a date and didn't apologize, we were finished. I broke up with two boyfriends (both of whom I was really attracted to) for that reason. I just figured they weren't that into me, so why waste our time?

(ETA: I'm a Cap sun, forgot to say that.)

Otherwise, I'm very tolerant for the most part (Pisces moon, Venus conjunct Neptune), and even if someone does something that turns me off, I'm not totally off. I recently had a class with a guy who snorted (inhaled mucus) loudly instead of blowing his nose. That's disgusting. But otherwise he had his act together, and nobody is perfect; my good opinion of him remains intact.

One thing that's very important to me is, a person can't be too conformist without making me feel claustrophobic. I have plenty of radical ideas, I have Aquarius Mercury square Uranus, with Pluto in the 3H (which explains a lot.) If someone is squeamish about exploring all kinds of perspectives...if they cling to the status quo like it's their security blanket...then that becomes a headache for me.

I agree with sagging pants OMG....

But anyways

(Very) Low intelligence or lack of interests.. you don't have to be Einstein or a renaissance man but please tell me you care or think about more than just Call of Duty and college football

Unfunny and has the nerve to say "lighten up" when someone calls them on it

Bullies

All kinds of immaturity!!!! Emotional, mental, all of it!

Randomly tells women to "smile" instead of actually doing something worth causing the gesture

Bad attitude and/or chip on the shoulder

Too much anger and (extreme) volatility of moods... I understand we all have baggage in our lives but a guy who has some and takes it out on everyone... noo thank you

Misogynistic and generally insensitive towards women, and people in general

Having to prove himself all the time... I am drawn to silent confidence

Buffoonery and attention-whoring

Was this for romance or in general?
I am not really turned off by most physical things, but I am a little turned off by overly thin bodies and lack of facial/body hair. The more bear-like a man is, the better.

Placements relevant uhm well... I am fire dominant. Leo Sun/Mercury/Venus, Aries Moon and Sagittarius rising

hmmm I guess quite a few things here and there... but my biggest put off would have to be:- overly arrogant/cocky behaviour.
I only like confident people who know who they are.

Yeah - discrimination of any kind is beyond being a *put off*. I just pretend they don't exist at all, like they're a blank wall.

#1 Excessive attention to appearance
#2 Never read a book, or cannot even say what the last book they have read.
#3 Low self esteem (not in general b/c some women have that just foisted on them by society) but the over compensation for it can be a bit much.
#4 Way over the top attention seeking
#5 Lack of creativity.
