If we’re talking about the moon not thriving in a sign it should be one of the air signs especially GEMINI & AQUARIUS , Gemini is too masculine for the moon to feel good there , you’re judging based on the Virgos you’ve met who probably have fire / air placements in them , I keep saying this about this femininity stuff in astrology, some of y’all take it waaaaaayyyyyy too personal to the extent you start to resent some signs and spreading wrong information just to make them appear a certain way to others , it doesn’t change the fact that Virgo is and will always be a feminine sign , I have a Virgo rising and I lovvvvvveeeeee every single Virgo woman in my life , they’re really the epitome of womanhood, out of all earth signs I find Virgo to be the most feminine cos they’re not as emotionless as Capricorn and as unyielding as the bull , After Cancer & Pisces moons , Virgo moon is a wonderful placement cos they’re very maternal , Air moons are just a big disaster , Both Venus and Virgo the divine feminine energy and Venus in Virgo is the wise woman and healer , Virgo is the archetype of feminine energy and the virgin ,the healer and the unconditional giver of service to others and Mother Earth

I think Gemini is torn between Logic (adam) and seduction/impulse/curiosity (eve).
Gemini tends to be the more curious and naughty incarnation of Mercury while virgo tends me be more like logical.

Also I don't see any similarities between virgo and Ishtar besides being maidens. Ishtar is known for the bull of heaven. Ishtar is often said to represent taurus because of this. Both Ishtar and Aphrodite are cruel war hunger love goddesses, both representing how cruel love and "venus" can be. In Vedic astrology Venus is said to be the teacher of demons and represents death.
