(just viewing natally) all of my needs come down to Scorpio-Sagittarius, the expression and motivations are very Scorpionic, but my needs, desires are much more Sagittarian. Partially why most of my partners have had Scorpio-Sagittarius-Aquarius strongly placed in their charts.

with age, things have definitely changed though, and the progression really shows through now. In my younger, wilder, and more experimental years, Pluto entwined Mars, but now pmars is cnj nSaturn-Eros (-pSaturn), - ruler of n5h. I'm clearly not as flexible about the things I want, but the drive and the degree of perfection I strive for is also higher. Coupled with pVenus in Capricorn (cnj nSun), there's an overall sense of knowing what I want, and expecting to get it. (exalt action by cnj?) Definitely lack patience in the romantic and physical needs departments nowadays... - But, this means through progression Taurus, Venus are now my 8h indicators... nMoon is in Taurus (9h) trine nSun/pVenus), in many ways it seems that maturity and experience have each enhanced the quality I strive for from myself and from my mate. I don't think it's too unbearable though, but much more controlled than when I had Mars-Pluto reign the realms of fleshy pleasures in my chart! lol I don't think I've become anymore sensual though, despite the progressions of Venus, Mars and ASC/DSC axis... but, maybe with time that will happen, (doubt it though, Sagittarius will house my pMars soon enough. But, it may be dampened once more by the domicile pMoon coming around the bend. >.<; Neptune as ruler of my nDSC seems to be less and less important in my relationships (let's see... crushes? since I've been off the market for some time now). Which is a welcome change, but now I'm curious how important that Mars will become as the DSC ruler in progression, already I've seen it become a drawing power. pVenus being cnj nSun has also drawn out a weird infatuation with Solars, as though Vertex node importance has flipped into antivertex node importance... (Venus was cnj Uranus the Vertex node ruler, now is cnj Sun ruler of antiVertex node... Aqua has given way to Leo appreciation). lol

Love for fire signs has been a constant, and I continue to find out about more of those blasted Scorpio Moons of my past~ I don't think that will ever change though, being Taurus Moon - seems to make for some magnetic opposition fancy - that, often proves irritating after some time. lol

If I've ever behaved like a Capricorn in the bedroom though, it's now... before it was likely more Scorpion-Sagittarian.. but with both Mars and Venus set to places that emphasize Capricorn qualities (via progressions)~ lol Capricorns are a favourite of mine (having long occupied my 5h), but maybe not everyone's cup of tea, being they can be too inexhaustibly frisky, and have such endurance. Aw well~ ^^; I look forward to having the pDsc Aries (my husband's had Aries occupy his for a long time now~ lol drawn to my Mars-Pluto XD methinks!) haha

Cancer on 5th house cusp, with Moon in Sagittarius conjunct Sun - both on the MC, but also squared by Saturn-Vertex on the DESC.

Scorpio on 8th house cusp, with Pluto in Libra in 7th house, squared by Venus in 11th house (Venus being intercepted 7th house ruler and also ruling 2nd house).

Uranus is in 8th house itself.

It seems quite a contradictory placement to me.

BTW I think the sign on the cusp is just a starting point, it has to be read together with where its ruler falls (Signwise and also conjunctions to other planets). Often it seems that the sign of the ruler comes out even more strongly than the sign on the cusp itself; however that is probably totally dependent on the individual chart.

Hot and cold = totally me. One minute, I'm into it...and the next I'm totally over it. Sometimes I go into periods where sex is the only thing I can think about for days, followed by weeks of thinking that sex is the most pointless, barbaric act known to man (probably doesn't help that I've got Capricorn on the 5th and that Aquarius is intercepted in my chart, hahaha).

I need a mental connection to be able to be turned on. If not, I sort of just spend my time reducing the situation to what it is: a bunch of cells conjoining another bunch of cells for a few brief moments, in the hopes of maybe (if I weren't gay, haha), creating just another ball of cells. Meh. When I'm into it, though, I'm very intensely into it; quieter than most, though (Mars square Pluto in Scorpio?).

I will say, as well, that I have been known to be...sexually precocious, however. Hah. Definitely the first of the guys that I knew to "develop", and I definitely started a bit earlier than most other guys I know, as well.

Also, I'm quite good about divorcing sex from intimacy. Not sure if that's a guy thing or a Mars in Aquarius thing. That said, though, I'm very "safe" about sex. I'm militant about taking precautions for my/his safety.

I do like to experiment with different aspects of sex, and I'm sure that some people would probably be put off by my sexual encounters. I hate even the idea of boring same ol' same ol' bedroom sex. I like spontaneous, take me right here on the kitchen counter, or behind the bar, or in the bush we just walked by sex If the only place a guy wants to do it is in bed, and the only way he wants to is "missionary" I'm DEFINITELY not the girl for him. I'd probably terrify a guy like that. Or get called "sick" or "depraved." I crave the "in the moment" feeling. And unless you're leading me to the bedroom blindfolded to reveal new *ahem* additions to our room (swings, hooks in the walls...that sort of thing ) I'd rather go out in the front yard for everyone to see. Lol..not an exhibitionist, exactly, I'd just rather not "do it" if I'm bored with how "it" is being done and that can usually be fixed with a simple scenery change.

Thanks for the link! And yeah, I think I have read this before and it's so accurate! As for inspirational partners: for me lovers with very different backgrounds and approaches to life just spin me into inspiration & creativity (I can even get intrigued by someone watching TV all day (well kinda), because it's so different!). Then again love generally inspires me...

Anyway, I don't recommend the 'at no level matching' backgrounds... It's kind of a hard crash when you fall from that pink cloud and touch (smack down on) the ground, lol.
All very exciting of course. Not very well for inner balance & joy.

Yes, exactly, in your case it probably doesn`t make that big of a difference since the ruler is also in Leo. Very warm, creative, protective, sensual, fiery in a stable way. And of course dramatic. lol

Also if something is conjunct the ruler it becomes merged with it. The other aspect might also colour it, but not in this strong sense of identification.

For me, Taurus on 5th house cusp, Venus in Capricorn. Very earthy there, and unlike Andstuff, I find Capricorns just delicious, especially if their Sun, Venus or Mars is in Capricorn. Yes, please, I want me some of that. lol

The element that is just doing nothing for me in a sexual context is Air, and ESPECIALLY not Gemini. *shudders*
Aqua is great and Libra as well for friendships, but attraction? Nada.
Though if something sets up my Aquarius-Moon, it changes things.

Leo isn`t for me at all in a sexual way.
However, Sagittarius BIG time, and Aries is moth to flame (esp. the first decade Aries, as this is square my Venus), and I am the one getting burned.

my 8th house cusp is in Cancer, with Moon in Aquarius.
Saturn is in 8th house. So another hint at my weakness for the SAturnian people. Of course not the boring ones, the others.
Actually MY Saturnians usually have a lot of Sag-influence or at least a little Aries.

The Quinkunx between ruler of 8th house Moon and Saturn IN 8th house, might not say so much as that suddenly my Moon gets all Saturnian, but rather depict the need to find a balance between my Aquarian need for detachment and independencement and the need for serious commitment as shown through Saturn.

My sex drive is at full speed, maximum over-drive on a regular basis. I'd ravish my fiance every time he walked through the door if he'd allow it. And I do mean every, single, time. "Oh you just got up? Yes, please" "Oh you just came in from being outside for 30 seconds, here, let me take those dirty clothes off you" I'm awful when it comes to self-control of that sort and if it weren't for him having some semblance of it, we'd never get anything accomplished with our clothes on lol
