The leaders are the dragons, tigers are second in command in my mom's family. My uncle is considered the leader among his siblings, he's a dragon. My aunt is the oldest, second in command, she's a tiger.

My mom's the youngest, she's was born under monkey. Since she's the baby of the family, they do not look to her in making important decisions but she was the first to finish her college degree.

Another aunt's birth order is in the middle, she's a horse.

Yeah we have a score of 82 percent.

You're a dragon right?
Probably why we get a long so well.

^ Ah it's supposed to be Dragon-Monkey-Rat
http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum24/HTML/215860.html

Thats the firey group

But there are soulmate signs too which are also called your "secret friend," someone who you truly care about and it's hard to live without

Soulmate signs go:
Dragon-Rooster
Monkey-Snake
Rat-Ox

Rooster-Snake-Ox are the earth group, practical and security oriented

But then there are your palace signs which most people end up marrying because it's the sign next to yours. They feel a lot like soulmates as well, but your soulmate sign is someone you care about the most, theyre supposed to teach you and open your horizons. The trine sign is someone things work very smoothly with abd you have all the same values and priorities.

Palace signs are:

Dragon-Snake
Monkey-Rooster
Rat-Ox

So according to this ( http://www.chinesehoroscopeonline.com/TDB/ZodiacMatch.asp ), I'm compatible with the earth snake, water monkey & rooster and water horse.

@RAS, by secret signs, you mean the hidden animal?

from wiki:

In Chinese astrology the animal signs assigned by year represent what others perceive you as being or how you present yourself. It is a common misconception that the animals assigned by year are the only signs and many western descriptions of Chinese astrology draw solely on this system. In fact, there are also animal signs assigned by month (called inner animals), by day (called true animals) and hours (called secret animals).

So your secret animal is your hour pillar?

Oh, you're right, it could be this. Even though Pluto is in Scorpio, it's still got that 7th House Libra flavor to it. Good thinking!!

Pluto also rules my chart type from that 7th so it probably adds more to the Libra feel.

Hm. . .you guys are so smart!

I hope you like your Libra friend, RAS. I told SomethingExcellent my real name and he already had a bad connection to it from some other girl in his past. It always sucks when that happens!

@Kero:

Oh yeah, above 80%! I am a dragon. That's probably the reason. I feel like the Monkey would always make fun of the Dragon for being too arrogant or serious. Haha

I notice the Tiger will respect the Dragon though, like they feel they are equals, so there's respect between them based on this.

Like with my Aunt who's a tiger, she lords it over her two sisters, the monkey and the horse, but always takes into consideration what my Uncle, the dragon, has to say like he's her peer.

Chinese Monkey and Dragon have an exciting, passionate adventure ahead of them. They may seem to live their own lives, but they do really want to share a part of their lives as well. They both are very social and while they love to go out together, if they must do separate things that is okay too. As long as they end up together at the end of the night they are fine.

In business, these two should be very cautious. They may be tempted to take a few risks too many. They could make some great decisions, but they may also make some phenomenally bad ones too.

When this pairing consists of a Monkey man and a Dragon woman, the relationship could flow quite well. She has a great deal of admiration for him. He is clever and tolerant enough to know how to handle her temper. She feels she has found an ally. He will be amused when she is temperamental. Their social life will bond them together.

So basically.. we're like beevis and butthead together..?
LMFAO yes.

Yeah thats good thou because when I go out to parties I kinda wander off and find new people and my friends get all worried. WHERE IS KEROSENE!!! ahjahdjashdjas
Most of them are roosters and sheep

quote:
The Rat and the Monkey make a fantastic pair! Both fun, energetic signs that thrive on parties and other social gatherings, the two simply have a great time together. Each of these signs has a bit of an ego, which isn’t a bad thing; it may lead to occasional arguments or competitive spirits, but the Rat, for one, enjoys arguing, debates and challenges of all kinds, and the Monkey is a born performer! These two find their clashes almost as fun as their most compatible points.

I will cry 4 u lulz, you will always have a place in my heart you big silly bully. <3

@ lunae, I'm a water monkey!!!

Monkeys and Geminis resemble each other, I always used to say. When you consider the energy level of this New Astrology sign, it’s as though someone took twelve Monkeys, piled them on top of a dozen sets of twins, installed a couple Rolls-Royce jet engines and then let ‘er rip. These people never cease moving. In fact, I wonder if Gemini/Monkeys ever sleep. Gemini/Monkeys love to talk. They need to perform, and even, I am afraid, to show off. For this reason, Gemini/Monkeys enjoy entertaining and watching others have a good time. They plan giant festivals and feasts complete with hand-opened oysters and lobsters flown in from the farthest reaches of the earth. A Gemini/Monkey bash is a guaranteed jolly time for all, your all-time unforgettable pig-out of a lifetime, your best party memory ever–until of course next week, when Gemini/Monkey will be throwing a far more sedate party. This time he’s only inviting seventy very select friends. “We will begin at six with a wine-tasting. We’ve brought in a sommelier from the Tour d’Argent. After that will be the balloon rides. We have to do that before it gets dark. …” The attractions are endless. Gemini/Monkey excess knows no frontiers. If you have a Gemini/Monkey for a friend you’ll never be bored again.
With all of this apparent folderol comes the best aptitude of all–genius. Yes. Gemini/Monkeys are always brilliant. Not only do they have active, vivid minds, that can make quantum leaps in a single bound, but Gemini/Monkeys have wildly creative spirits. They are always on to some new breakthrough idea that will revolutionize the horse-racing industry–and they may not even be vaguely connected to horses. But one day they were watching a horse race and it popped into their heads that if such and such were so and so, then maybe the races wouldn’t have to be thus and such. Gemini/Monkeys are addicted to improvisational living. They hate to do the same thing twice in the same way, and therefore spend much time imagining new solutions.
There’s a bit of the snob in our friend the Gemini/Monkey too. As he enjoys everything bigger and better and grander and smarter, a touch of class, he feels, never hurt anybody. You can count on the Gemini/Monkey to have at least one fast car in his garage, and elegant brand of dog and an equally chic and very proper mate. The accoutrements are part of the show– and with Gemini/Monkeys the show is life itself. Don’t think that Gemini/Monkeys are as light-headed as they are lighthearted. These are self-reliant, responsible independents who are not averse to buckling down to a hard day at the office or a heavy single-handed spring cleaning. They know how to do such a variety of different tasks at once that watching them work is akin to viewing a master juggler in the center ring. The Gemini/Monkey can delegate authority well. And he doesn’t believe in being bossy in order to get people to work for him.
This person is a born iconoclast. Rules, he thinks, are made to be broken, flouted, torn up and written anew. Smashing idols is to the Gemini/Monkey only the first step in true progress. If he can’t prove that a fusty old rule is dull and simple-minded by mere logic and a bit of persuasion, then he will make short work of testing that brittle old law. Don’t ever tell a Gemini/Monkey not to ride his bike in a hospital corridor or you will soon see him cruising down the hall in Ward III.
The rule-breaking this subject gets up to can cause him serious trouble. He is not a crook or a criminal. But he could very well be called a troublemaker by higher-ups. Generally his genius saves him from utter destruction by those too serious to see beyond their own belly-button lint. They know he’s impossible. But he’s so necessary to their cause that they won’t let him go. Exile is one tactic used in trying to discipline the Gemini/Monkey. But no matter which remote boondock they banish him to, the Gemini/Monkey will come up giggling and raring to try his skill at some new implausible scheme.

GUYS post info about your western sun sign and your Chinese sign

also no, we rarely sleep.
I should actually be dead...

Hm. . .I'm actually not sure if I've met a Tiger in person to add to this.

My family consists of a rooster, two oxen, a monkey and a horse. It's Noah's ark up in here!

I've had a partner that is also a Dragon though and... no one yields, it's like bashing my head against a wall!

It sounds good for Tiger and Dragon to be together if they can respect each other like that, whether as just friends or romantic though, I don't know.

@Kero:

Yes, Beevis and Butthead! I'm really not too fussed about mixing and mingling with everyone but I do like knowing who I'm going home with. <---Hah! sounded sexual

Rooster reminds me more of Leo. It's supposed to be earthy but I can't see a connection at all between it and the sign Virgo, who is supposed to be quiet, modest, practical, peaceful.
The rooster is loud, flamboyant, showy, scrappy. All these qualities contradict Virgo characteristics.

Hmm I went to school with roosters, they were all studious and focused.
To me they seem more libran/virgo.
They were extremely preppy and crisp.
I would say the monkey students were a lot more out there with their fashion sense.
I was with a rooster for a long time, really big on appearances and looking attractive 24/7
charming yet subtle, letting people come towards them.

They seem more like a peacock to me.

Both older siblings are the two stronger signs while the younger ones are considered meeker.
MsPrism, are you by chance among the oldest of your siblings, too?
Just from knowing how my aunt is, the tiger is actually far more inclined to lord it over everyone than the dragon. Even though my tiger aunt is the oldest, since my dragon uncle lives closer to extended family, they all call him whenever they have news and he calls my tiger aunt who will tell the horse who will then tell the monkey. This is the chain of command with them
My uncle dragon doesn't lord it over people like the tiger though. He is respected, but he's not as demanding.

I agree with Kerosene. Roosters are only loud bc they nag lololol and virgos can be very hyper and talkative as well, being so mercurial.

They're very picky too. Totes virgo.
They even have the "googly" virgo eyes

Btw Kerosene, monkey is said to be leo but i dont even know what sign to give them....maybe gemini mixed with leo and pisces. Why pisces? Bc they seem so sweet and vulnerable even though theyre crayyzee haha (in a good way) and leo bc theyre warm playful and showoffy and gemini..well that one should be obvious : P I mean do they ever sit still ....or stop questioning the mysteries of life

Just as I thought, Cancer is the Western counterpart of the sheep lol In the western, both my luminaries are in the Cancer decan.

quote:
Sheep people are elegant, charming, artistic, gifted and fond of nature. People born under this sign are also the most creative. They are also very delicate, their good manners and charms always bring many admirers and friends.
Sheeps are insecure. They need to feel loved and protected. They are easily drawn into complex predicaments. This being, so, they usually shy from confrontation, pull back when faced with heavy decision-making and blatantly refuse to take an unpopular stand in a conflict.

Sheep people are dreamers, sometimes, they are pessimistic, hesitant and over-anxious worriers! They can be lazy sometimes. If Sheeps have any choices, they would definitely choose to marry a wealthy person and sit back for the rest of the lives. Also, they are obsessed with their appearance. That, play an enormous part in their sense of personal stability. If they don't look their best, they may be afraid to go out the door to pick up the Sunday papers.

Due to their indecisive nature, Sheeps like to study the esoteric to know more about the unknown. They enjoy reading books about horoscope and fortune-telling. Therefore, it will not be unusual to find Sheeps working as astrologers or fortune-tellers.

Disorganized as they are , business is definitely not the strength in a Sheep. Instead, the Sheep will make a good craftsman or artist or writer and can confidently take up any career demanding artistic talents and creativities.

Sheep people are very romantic sensitive, sweet and darling. In relationship, they could be sometimes a little bit bossy and lazy, but with their gentle and caring nature, it will be hard to resist Sheep people.

http://pages.infinit.net/garrick/chinese/sheep.html

Sounds very Cancerian, mixed with a little Pisces.

I agree SSS, dragon is actually pretty easygoing and doesnt seek to impose its will on anyone. They are stubborn for sure and hold fast to their opinions but they will not try to impose it on others.

A lot of tigers on the other hand have bad tempers and strong wills. They are very passionate and emotional. Even when not angry, when they feel enthusiastic theyre overflowing with enthusiasm lol. Theyre kinda larger than life.

But imo dragons draw all the attention to themselves without trying hard

What about flamboyancy used to describe Roosters, and the way they are supposed to dress to draw attention to themselves? I have read these sorts of descriptions for Rooster and it doesn't sound like Virgo.

Virgos can get chatty but it's not like a Rooster who makes a lot of noise to get attention. Virgos are more interested in spreading information while the rooster will just be loud, like an entertainer. Sounds more like Leo.

Monkeys have a huuuuggge ego.
Two monkeys together are like.. a barrel of monkeys until ego sets in.
Most of my fights with monkeys were clearly over who was better and more amazing at something.
I remember I was bragging to my one monkey friend and I think I made him feel small..
Literally a war ensued because of his jealously.

Sounds very leo to me.

Yeah all the firey group signs rat-dragon-monkey have big egos

Hmm but i've always felt the monkey to be the sweetest and most compromising of the three. Dontcha think?
Arent they all about equality and fairness and such. Certainly the most intellectual and "detached" of the three signs
