Saviez-vous que je peux parle Francais?  Well kinda I'm not entirely fluent...I could probably piece together sentences but not hold a decent conversation. But I wanna continue to learn French! My poor lessons were cut in favour of another language and because I dropped one language half way and was expected to pick up another language's other half, I was disrupted!  Any ways, I wanna be multilingual. At least three languages. I wanna be the next Cleopatra and speak like eight! Where is it in a chart to show languages? It's Mercury, obviously, but what else? H3/H6? Aspects? Jupiter to Mercury maybe? I have a Libra/H3 Mercury whose only real aspect is a square to Uranus...how about you? Or do you know anyone who's multilingual? IP: Logged |

Languages were/are my thing! I love words and vocab in general. I feel safe saying that I "know" spanish. I was really on a language kick though when i was in high school, but starting in 8th grade. Those were the only classes i really passed and was good at.
Yeeeeah i love words!
Also to note, I was good at getting the accent down but not at actually holding a verbal conversation. Way better at writing/reading it and communicating that way. But it was also never my main goal to be able to 'communicate' with other people because of a language. I just like the sounds and syntax.IP: Logged |

Baiser oui! Frenchie parti up ici! (Baiser oui was one of the first phrases I learnt living with my other, rowdier Canadien family.)I wish to become fluent in French and Korean to be honest. Being that I have family in Korea and French roots, I wish to add them to my list of skills! I'd learn Mandarin, though only because it's apparently the most spoken language in the world. And lastly, my Native American heritage of Mohawk and Ojibwe would be pretty rad too. My Cancer friend wants to learn German and Latin. The German is like Korean for me in that she likes the culture, and Latin because she's weird and wants to speak a dead language (which is cool enough in its own right I suppose!) IP: Logged |

Oh that's cool! I've only ever seen the appeal of being able to speak with more people. What's your Mercury all up and doing? Also, do you love inventing words or terms? I do every so often because it just seems easier! IP: Logged |

I speak English (native), Spanish (near fluent) and some German (enough to order food).I always thought it was my Sagittarius moon. Maybe not? ------------------

I'm "multilingual", I speak and write several languages, and my work is all about language.Virgo Sun (ruled by Mercury), Libra Moon & Venus conjunction in the 3rd house (house of Gemini), Jupiter in Gemini. Mercury in the 1st house, Pluto semisextile Mercury, Scorpio Mars sextile Sun. Some or several of these, I suppose. IP: Logged |

I speak fluent English and German. French is my 3rd language; Spanish is 4th (but not very good).
As I don't know, what is my mother language, I won't speak about them: there are two (slavic languages). --Alors, je parle bien francais, mais je n'ai pas aucune personne a parler!-- --Tambien hablo espanol, pero mi espanol es muy pobre!---

The only foreign language I speak well is English. I also used to learn German in school (it was obligatory too) and was pretty good at it (the level of the material wasn't very high though) but the truth is I don't really care about this language. I forgot most of what I learnt but don't even use it so I guess it was unavoidable. What else...I know some Spanish and Italian phrases and words, enough to make the locals like me in case I ever go to these countries Anyway, I'm considering taking up Italian within the next few years. It seems easy enough for me and I think it sounds beautiful which is a huge plus. And then I'll start learning another language. And another one, hehe. Well, I wish. It would be great to be able to communicate in a few languages. Besides it's a perfect exercise for a brain. Gotta prevent my grey cells from dying somehow  In the meantime I'm going to work on my English cause it still needs a lot of improvement. Oh, and I'll probably try to learn to fake a British accent better. Until then I have to stick to my American...ish accent. I have one, rather unattainable linguistic dream - Japanese. Eh, I suppose I will have to console myself with a few European languages. My placements - Virgo rising, Sag Mercury, Mars in the 9th.

Moon and Saturn in 3th house, Mercury in Virgo in the 7th., lots of mutable stuff in my chart.

Oh, Francais - le langue de Libras... ^^ J'ai aussi, peux parler un peu du francais... but I haven't practiced in writing since mid school ^^ - didn't spoke much french either, but I can still get the hang of it in terms of verbal conversation....e anche italiano - with Italian I might do better than with french, especially in writing (closer to my natal language). ^^ I understand some German - and can talk a little but i can't write much in this language - it's just to different. I can speak and write fluently in English (a common language this days) and Romanian (my natal language). Other than that - Spanish seems easy to learn (close to my natal language) - though I never tried to learn it, but for some reason - I managed to talk with a client in Spanish once... I was a bartender at that time - and he was feeling lonely (far from home) and needed someone to talk to... and i don't know - i just realized i could do that. ^^ I tried to learn Japanese - but that seemed harder than i expected, after 30 minutes of dabbling with it - on a software intended for learning Japanase - only 3 words stucked with me, though - when it comes to repetition i did good with their accent - I might be able to manage a lot of accents... ^^ IP: Logged |

Moi, je parle français, aussi. En fait, j'ai étudié lettres modernes à une université française.J'avais toujours voulu apprendre l'allemand, également, mais...tant pis.  Je ne veux absolument pas recommencer avec une autre langue à 23 ans. hahaha I did French for my undergrad/lived in France for a while. I miss speaking it, actually...I've become a tad rusty. I never get a chance to speak in DC (even though, I live in a heavily "French" neighborhood, right by said embassy). I also studied Latin and Italian when I was younger...I've mostly forgotten both, though (I was never as good at either as at French, though, so whatever ). I have Mercury in Taurus (my chart ruler) in the 8th house...so I'm not sure if it comes from that (although Taurus is on the cusp of the 9th, for me, as well). I do have Moon in Sagittarius in the 3rd house, though, which I think might have more to do with it. Virgo rising and Pisces Venus (6th), I imagine might help with the whole "being adaptable" to new systems bit though, I imagine (systems in this case, being a language). Edit: I also have Jupiter (Cancer/10th house) conjunct MC in Gemini and square my Ascendant. ------------------

You made a few mistakes
Japanese...hehe, once I managed to memorize a few hiragana characters. I was so proud It's good that at least the pronunciation is easy. Or maybe it's just my good hearing and musical skills 
Btw, Romanian sounds freakin' cool! I would be willing to learn it for this one reason
