My friend (the astrologer) says it’s because 6th House is Virgo’s domain. Virgo’s biggest strength is his (hers?) analyzing powers. When combined with Scorpio those analyzing powers are focused on psychology and the inner world. One of 6th House’s (as well as Virgo’s) downfalls is its excessive criticism. Criticism towards others and especially the self. That’s why people with a heavy 6th House are almost never satisfied with anything. They constantly focus on the flaws and try to make everything better. They beat themselves up and can never let loose and have fun. I remember an astrologer on YouTube say something along the lines of “If 5th House is your dreams, your pleasure and fun – 6th House is where those things realize themselves in the real word. 6th House is where 5th House grows up.” He often describes 6th House as the House of obstacles. He says that people with a heavy 6th House will spend their lives solving some kind of conflicts. He’s a Vedic astrologer. I personally think 6th House is one of the most misunderstood Houses. I’ve never been a fan of labeling 6th House as the house of co-workers and mundane work. I still don’t fully understand it but I think it’s more psychological than that.

I have pluto in 10th house. I've always done well in my career, but even that has been in a rut as of late. Maybe I did have power in this area but now... not so much. I can't think of anything reputation related. IP: Logged |

Wierd cuz my mom wasnt strict til i turned 30 and her friends were all gone so she needed someone to nag. When i was younger she was barely ever home. I had lots of freedom. I would be 13 years old coming home at 4am.

Its okay its been so long i got over it. I have a strong bond with him even if hes in another world. I also have sun in the 12th. Another sign of loss of a father whether its a dead beat or by death.

Hi Ami,Found another url that I found interesting in my own research. http://astrologyoflife.com/pluto.html The basis of the interpretation for Pluto is: Pluto as a principle says, “If you do not manage the affairs of your life, I will manage them through others. Pluto thinks in limitation. Limitation, when too tightly applied for self interest, can become repression, with the unintended result of rebellion. When the petitions of the repressed go unheard, the only recourse is to abolish the repressor. Limitation may be perceived as repression, though it be only a call to the discipline of coordination in teamwork. The lessons of Pluto transmute pride into humility. Pride is connected to retaliation and fear of loss. Retaliation is an act in the delusion of self defense. The question is, what is being defended? It goes to break down each house as well so people can read their own. IP: Logged |

quote: Originally posted by meyray: Pluto in the 6th House (in Scorpio)To be honest I am very indifferent to Pluto. I have so much Scorpio and so much 6th House energy that Pluto gets upstaged. I’ve been told by many people (some of them psychologists and astrologists) that I have an amazing ability to analyze myself and other people psychologically. The astrologer said that this is one of 6th House’s biggest strengths – to analyze oneself and develop critical thinking. However all this 6th House energy is also Scorpio energy and Scorpio is emotional. Scorpio can dig and bring to the surface even the biggest secrets of your psyche but he can be easily pulled into darkness by his emotional and irrational nature. You could say that there is always a fight between my emotions and my mind. The mind realizes and understands the situation but the emotions don’t let the mind have any power over the decisions it makes. I’ve suffered from depression and anxiety and although I understand what causes them I can’t seem to overrule them… As I said my 6th House is packed – Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, North Node, Pluto, Juno so I don’t know if this is Pluto or something else.
Same here, have lots of Plutonic/Scorpio energy. However I am very accomplished at analyzing where things went wrong when all of the analysis led to extreme boredom and thus action that is less then well thought out. IP: Logged |

]Hi,Ami I have in 1st House. ... people don't feel my pluto at first because it's in the late house. But they feel my saturn and jupiter more (jup. in 12th and sat. in 1st both conjunct AC) . Although the pluto is in late degree, I feel the power of it always resides in "me" wherever I go. This 's really make me a strong-focus person to accomlplish whatever I 'm interested. My close friends said ...I seem to be very optimistic than other friends in a hard situation (jupiter) but in the sametime I'm so private that at some points noone know me , like a person who always have secret (definitly pluto and saturn working together). Besides those heavy planets , my libra sun is also in 1st , so I can be a lovely dovy sometimes when I'm in a good mood IP: Logged |
