that being said contradictions in the bible are nothing new, it's just a matter of cherry picking which verses you'd prefer to listen to when you find them
of course you'll choose the ones that best fit your own views and allow the practices you want to use
i'm not a follower of abrahamic faiths by any means personally, but where they're useful is where they line up with other various spiritual beliefs and ideas
the symbolism is much the same, but the framework is more limiting than it needs to be so following the faiths leads people somewhere but next to nowhere in terms of what a person can really gather branching off outside of that
it's the reason why an occult ritual can be done in a church because a good deal of it is interchangeable but a follower of those faiths would be held back from engaging in those rituals and limited in what they're allowed to express
broken down the bible is like most texts of its nature, when you know what you're looking for it's as useful of a tool/guide as anything else but when it's your only source material and youre taking too much of it to heart it becomes problematic

a good example of religion as a means of control is one of the lines in romans about the government being ordained by god and how it should be obeyed, the roman empire's eventual use of christianity as a tool for control illustrates that well
If you had personal experience using reputable Vedic Astrologers, and had experienced its practical results through prediction coming true year-after-year, down to the exact dates given my the professional, you would understand the correlation with Genesis 1:14 & Psalms 1-14. Anyway, I’m not a Christian and I don’t read The Roman-Greek derived Bible, so it’s whatever.
