Okay, I’ll take a shot at it.Moon is self-esteem; the Sun is the positive self image. The Sun in Aries is positive self image with regards to competition, openness and assertion. In other words, you see nothing wrong with being competitive, assertive, open and transparent: These are the qualities you consider to be truly progressive and to be admired. A Saturn ruled energy sitting on your Moon could mean that you are very hard on yourself. There could be an innate belief that you have to “prove” or “work” yourself to being worthy enough to get the tenderness and affection of others. And with the Mars, also in Cap, it may be that you assert and project yourself to others as someone who is rational, self-sufficient, capable and responsible. These placements, however, are themselves deceiving and hide the sensitive, absorbing and impressionable Cancer Ascendant. You absorb everything (Cancer) and yet find it difficult to internalize that which you feel (Moon in Capricorn); In other words, you may not dwell on the moment that much of the “absorption” is happening. You may compartmentalize those feelings into a nice compartment to be dealt with “later”. You may even project this "compartmentalization" of sensitive feelings by choosing friends and circumstances that encourage reason and logic above feelings and emotions (7th house Cap). But this is often a front that doesn’t last for very long because in your “reclusive” states, you can be accepting of how readily you break into tears. This may be the only time that you allow yourself to truly “feel” and replay, in your head, just how much pain you’ve had to endear. Now the Moon also connects to the Sun(your sense of positive self –image). An innate belief of being “unworthy” could re-enforce you to be more pioneering, more bold, more forthcoming etc; “If I express these positive traits (Sun)of assertiveness, directness and decisiveness(Aries) than I may achieve a lot(Capricorn) and others will love/admire me(Moon). Venus is also in Aries; an individual who wears their heart on their sleeve and may even openly compete with others for the affection of others. The focus of Aries here is NOT the object to be “won over”, but the “beating out” of the competition. Aries wants to know that they are the “best” and others to know that too. So yes, since Aries rules the face and physical appearance, the individual may “compete” with what can be “seen” and “measured” by others (face, body, appearance) as the “best” etc. So here, your moon in Cap may also influence Venus by suggesting that love/care goes together with the look (Venus) that one has which is “better” than others (Aries) OR no-one loves someone who doesn’t make an effort to look good or stand out etc. Aries is, in and of itself, compulsive energy but the inclusion of the “out of sign” opposition in Scorpio means that you could be torn between two extremes with regards to this idea of “looking” the best. On the one hand, Venus in Aries loves spending time and effort on the self and “dolling” oneself up for other’s admiration and appreciation. Whilst on the other hand, Scorpio Pluto works more with inner traits(ability to be a good partner, kindness, empathy, ability to keep secrets and accept other’s flaws without changing them etc) and you may not want to be taken only at face value. And because this energy is back/forth in extremes, you could feel torn between being “real” (Scorpio) you and being the one who turns heads (Aries). And the two energies, to you , may feel very mutually exclusive. I wouldn’t say that you are “obsessed” as Venus is the planet that Aries is in, but I would say that there could be self-esteem issues that may make “looks” the focus of your social interaction as well as public image(10th house in Venus /Aries).

Out of the two, Venus/Pluto aspects. Generally speaking, I would say Leo Ascendant and Virgo Ascendant. IP: Logged |

Breast augmentation at 19, nose job, lip fillers.. I go to the gym, designer clothes, make up, all that stuff...I am very critical of myself, therefore I always have the urge to improve or fix something. That might be Sun/Venus and Mars/Venus and Sun/Neptune in 10H Capricorn square ASC in Aries Or Chiron in Virgo 6H could indicate my preoccupation with fitness and strict diet IP: Logged |

Hi Desiring Shadows, if you want it, then go for it and silicone implants are really safe, they cannot 'pop' like the saline ones. Lip fillers are more difficult, they can easily look very fake and "duckish" but if your lips are already on the fuller side then it can look great. I am very happy with mine Love IP: Logged |

Physical appearance and beauty are two different things although people usually connect them intimately. Beauty is a concept that is very variable according to culture, era and even personal taste. Certainly the ideal of feminine beauty during the Renaissance is far distant from what is considered beautiful for women nowadays. On the other hand, physical appearance is more related to the structure of one's body and how it's presented to the world. We often tend to link beauty to physical appearance but a person doesn't need to be necessarily beautiful to have a good appearance. Proper outfits to your "body resources" can play a major role in the way your physical appearance is perceived by yourself and others. The right clothes and make up, for example, can valorize the "hot spots" of your body and mask the bad ones. The opposite is also applicable. So if you're talking about obsession with beauty, I'd say strong links between Venus-Pluto are the main ones to be looked for, since beauty is a Venusian thing. Now, if you're talking about obsession related to physical appearance, that is, to the way you are perceived by others and yourself, the 1st house is the element to be really looked at since that house not only represents your physical body but the way it's projected into the world. Pluto strongly linked to that house (specially to the Ascendant) or to the 1st ruler could create that kind of obsession, particularly if the aspect linking them is a hard one. I don't see Neptune very connected to obsession but to dissatisfaction and unrealistic expectations one has regarding to beauty (if strongly linked to Venus) or the physical appearance (if strongly linked to the 1st house/AC or its ruler). Neptune can create serious problems regarding seeing yourself as beautiful/attractive (Venus) and also bring distortions related to self-image (1st house). If both Neptune and Pluto are in strong aspect to Venus, the dissatisfaction regarding beauty can make a person obsessed about achieving an unrealistic ideal. If both connections happen to AC/1st ruler, one could imagine that his natural appearance is never good enough and become obsessed about "always looking good". If the sign of Virgo is involved in those connections, being beautiful/looking good is not enough: being perfect/looking impecable are the ultimate goals. If the sign of Leo is involved the whole thing is about getting attention from other people to boost the self-confidence. Besides that, if Neptune and Pluto also aspect each other, the obsession can make one cross the boundaries in order to achieve his beauty/physical appearance ideals. And if Jupiter gets into the mixture those kind of worries may get even more expanded. Michael Jackson is a very good example of what a dissatisfaction/obsession complex related to the physical appearance can do to a person: he basically disfigured his face (in special his nose) along the years trying to reach an ideal that I think he didn't even know what it was anymore in the end. I just looked at his chart in Astro-Databank: http://www.astro.com/astro-databank/Jackson,_Michael_%281958%29 He was a Pisces Ascendant, so Neptune rules his house of physical appearance, self-image and personal identity. The Pisces Moon conjunct AC and the Virgo Sun exact opposite the AC: it's worldly known he had a supportive mother and an abusive father (which used to criticize him, make fun of his appearance and also beat him up). Neptune (AC ruler) is in the Scorpio 8H, then controled by Pluto, Pluto sextile Neptune and both planets aspect the AC: nobody knows exactly how many plastic surgeries Michael went through but we all saw he lost his grip on reality and crossed the boundaries regarding to what he was doing to his body (the head, face, the logic brain are all 1st house matters). His Jupiter in Libra conjunct Neptune in Scorpio expanded his lack of boundaries to the top. Saturn is in the 9H but conjunct the cusp of the 10H in Sagittarius (sign of Jupiter): both Saturn and the 10H rule the skin (Michael had vitiligo)and the disease appeared suddenly (8H, house in which the 10th ruler Jupiter is placed). The conjunction of the 1st and the 10th rulers in the 8H also suggests his self image issues and the skin disease were deeply linked. Sun conjunct Pluto in Virgo opposite the AC also shows the abusive father shaped his personality in positive/negative ways: perfectionism but also self-criticism and a strong dislike towards his appearance. Curiously, he also had a Mars in Taurus ruled by a Venus that conjunct Uranus in Leo/trine MC: he was very showy and extravagant, worried about looks and extremely original, unconventional in his presentations. His day by day life was very troublesome at times and marked by controversial facts. His 6H stellium in Leo with Uranus trine the Moon in the 1H also shows how much the energy of father (the Sun) was expressive in his life and played a major role in his obsessive perfectionism/disruptive emotional state that led to his health problems (6H). Just crazy how a natal chart can tell the stories of our lives, good and bad ones... IP: Logged |

That sounds great! I'll keep that in mind. Saline is like a liquid, so it makes sense.. Also, yeah, my lips aren't naturally full (um, lipstick? 😩 and I don't want them to look duck ish... So I guess I'm just screwed. Lol Oh well 😆 Edit: they are full they just aren't big like I'd want them to be

I have a 6th house stellium in Scorpio with Pluto along & I'm obsessive about everything, let alone my apperances . I'm literally obsessed with perfectionism and since no one can ever really be perfect, I spent my whole entire childhood feeling worthless. Pluto and those extremes!IP: Logged | |
