I love makeup. I even took classes. I love face contouring, there is so much you can do with just a little make up on your face, it doesn't have to be something loud and obnoxious. If you are into making your face up you got to be good at it.

Certainly doesn't mean I can't be seen without make up or without lipstick on.

Mostly I love eye make up.Black kohl, black eyeliner, balck eye shadow. I can blend all sort of dark stuff. What can I say I love it!

I typically don't wear any makeup.

I have sensitive skin and part of me worries that makeup would aggravate it. The other reason I don't wear any is because I hate the process of taking it off. Not to mention, sometimes I'm in a rush and I would not be willing to make extra time to sit and apply makeup. Maybe I'm just too lazy.

That being said, if I were to wear makeup, I'd be into eye makeup.

I don't wear make up most of the time but on special occasions I do, and I love looking pretty during parties I feel more comfortable with an all-natural look on normal days. I touch my face too much and will tend to smear the make-up if I wear it everday. XD

Not sure what placements are relevant, but I have a Gem asc, chart ruler mercury in Sag, 6th house. Capricorn and Uranus are not dominant in my chart.

The ascendant/chart ruler and its aspects would probably have a big role to play since it is our outer mask of some sort? Or possibly the MC for the way we carry ourselves in public?

Everyone keeps posting threads that i had in mind! lol
the style one now this one and then the talents one sheesh so popular those topics are i guess!

I hate makeup on me because i feel like i'm going to ruin myself like get wrinkles or something or that spf is going cause harm etc... i really love makeup in general though! the idea of it and all the colors like it makes me crazy! i have makeup that i don't even wear! I just like having it because its all so pretty *_* Sometimes i wear it but i also kinda just don't like it on me. It doesn't go on smoothly and i feel tacky wearing it. Like i hate blue eyeshadow thats just the ugliest makeup ever. Although SOME people can get away with it and if its on right. If i wear any its usually just to play up my lips. I had some red lipstick on today. :*
Other than that im mostly worried about self-preservation.
Ive got cap stellium ;; yu know the usual And i have libra asc. with an out of sign venus trine asc. And yes to uranus/mercury/neptune contacts.
Oh! and i love watching makeup vids! I think its also part of my sag mars being interested in learning things for the heck of it.

Blue eyeshadow is cool! I like to blend it with other lighter colors just on the top of my eye lids.I don;t like going all the way up my eyebrows. The thing with makeup is to be able to apply it in such a way that you don't feel it on your face.If you are feeling like you have a smudged cake on your face then you are doing it wrong.

About the only time I'll do a full makeup job is for stage or an audition and then I can make myself look anywhere from 30 years younger to 30 years older depending on the role, so that can be fun. Nothing like playing a VERY old woman -- removing makeup at the end of the performance feels like a face lift in a jar of Pond's cold cream.

Yeah, a bright red colored lipstick and your cool shades on. That's all a girl needs

I particularly like the latest from Bourgeois. It feels great on my lips lol

Some of us don't need it. Doesn't make me a feminist at all.

However, when I was shaving my head, I appeared so androgynous that I wore eyeliner and lipgloss just to make my feminine features pop a bit.

@ Odette

I can see where you're coming from, however

I have never worn make up in my life and I'm neither sporty nor homely

I like my skin exposed to air, for one thing. I have a naturally contrasty appearance. Long black eyelashes, fair skin, quite bright full lips that look like lipstick. I naturally look as if I was wearing make up and well I'd rather spend my money in other things, I only have concealer and compact powder, nothing beyond

I have Venus trine Asc, which might explain it

Mercury in Sagi, I will say whatever I feel like and no accusations will be accepted

Me too. I've been called "porcelain doll" or "Snow White" a few times in my life.

Like Lunae said I touch my face WAY to much to wear makeup. Also I'm too lazy. I don't want to get up extra early just to put it on. My classmates have seen me with a natural face for 4+ years and they're fine. >

Planets:
Sun Pisces
Uranus conj. Neptune
Taurus in venus in 5th/6th house
Moon in 1st house

Idk what other placements would not like wearing makeup... Well, I do. I'm,like I said above, too lazy.

Also with the makeup feminist thing... D: I want to be a stay-at home mom.:L Is that bad?

I think it takes a lot of effort and literally no effort not to wear any.

I creepilishy watch makeup guru's and I like seeing the transformations. I've learned way too much about makeup for my own good, ironically have no interest in it other than watching random people applying makeup.

Make up has been a creative outlet for me since I was 20. I have binders full of make up ideas. And am subscribed to Kandee Johnson. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s2DRyhDLFwo

I remember Kandee's tips when I am going to a special occasion and want to look my best.

Love experimenting with different looks.

Sometimes my make up is barely there. And yeah sometimes I cake it on and it's very obvious that I'm wearing make up.

I do give my face a break sometimes, and sometimes I choose sleeping in over putting make up on. When I get out of the shower I like to put organic coconut oil on my face to naturally moisturize it. But sometimes I don't even have time to do that. I like to take my time, but I wont let my self be late for work.

And I TRY to go for the more natural cosmetics.

But yes I have fun with make up!

I'm a Pluto, Uranus, Mars dominant.
But Mercury is my ruling planet.
Aries Sun
Pisces Venus
Moon sextile Neptune

In my opinion Moon and/or Venus in Gemini (also Moon-Mercury and/or Venus-Mercury aspects) and air placements in general.

Interesting. I'm a Sagittarius Sun, Leo Moon, Leo Ascendant, Aries Midheaven, Sagittarius Venus, Leo Jupiter, Grand Fire Trine between Sagittarius Sun/Venus & Leo Jupiter & Aries Midheaven and I LOVE to wear and do makeup and I'm into all kinds of beauty stuff. I'm actually an esthetician & make up artist. Back in beauty school most girls were either fire or earth dominant.

I don't know. I think I have a pretty strong Mercurial influence (Moon in gemini, moon aspecting many of my planets, Ascendant and Venus in Virgo, Venus making a lot of aspects, Saturn in 3rd house. My Mercury also has quite a few aspects), and I love being girly and dressing up. I'm very feminine looking. I used to not dress up at university, but then again a lot of people were the same, and at uni you're still maturing. We were more worried about studies than how we looked. But even then, I was never androgynous looking.

Not me. Moon conjunct Venus in Gemini. I don't wear it every day, and don't use much of it, but I used to love to play with it. A lack of that now, is probably to do with my self-esteem issues + the fact that I used to worry that my features were too bold to use much makeup. That isn't the case anymore (everything has softened a bit with age, and a bit of weight, it seems), but I don't go anywhere.

When I'm upset, I usually buy something that's considered "girly" - I mentioned that in another thread. Nail polish, shampoo and conditioner (or at least go and smell them, in the aisle at the store), face masks, etc.

I'm terrible at application of it, though.
