I'm actually an esthetician & make up artist. Back in beauty school most girls were either fire or earth dominant.
Yeah, I mainly meant the rising signs Aries and Sag. Leo likes glam. My sister is a Leo Sun, Mercury, Mars and Ascendant, and she was a cosmetologist for 10+ years. IP: Logged |

I'm a Venus in Virgo and if I could go out into the world without make up every day I would. I try to only wear make up at work or when going out with friends/special occasions. I prefer naturalness. I do like make up though. Lol. IP: Logged |

I don't own any makeup or wear any. I have no idea what in my chart points to that... I like being pretty and all .. just stopped doing a lot of socially prescribed girl things when I was 16, on my own. Wore what the heck i wanted, no shaving, no makeup, nothing. I'm still feminine and attuned to my appearance. I have Venus in Libra--I still care how I look and all... but my hair is in long natural knots/"dreads" on one side and loose on the other.. etc. I'm weird i guess. Most of my friends don't wear makeup but some are burlesque clowns and they definitely do lol...The Aqua IC plays a part I am thinking. A willingness to operate outside societal norms has more to do with it than androgyny on my part although i am partial to androgyny I'm also usually perceived as being pretty femme... IP: Logged |

Strangely, I knew (we were related) a Taurus who always wore makeup, even when working outside under the hot Texas sun...even when she had to go reapply it every 10 minutes!I'd have thought Taurus would show more sense than that. She also protected her skin as well as she always wanted to be pale, as those with dark skin "had to work for a living." (I don't know if this was her conscious thought, but that's how it came off to my grandmother and mother.) I only know her sun sign, however. IP: Logged |

I only wear makeup for benefits (like on business where it sends a bad sign to many if a woman doesn't) or for show (costumes and cosplaying and/or creative self-expression, in which case I go all out and even got prescriptions for contacts so I could even change my eye color). As a child, I found what I enjoyed easier if I kept my hair short (easier to care for, got less tangled, helped keep me from getting even hotter), dressed as a boy (because then it was okay if I got my clothes dirty or ripped), and eschewed makeup. I recall reading somewhere that Sag Uranus can be comfortable with unorthodox gender roles and expressions, and Linda Goodman wrote a bit on how the "male and female" are more balanced in Libra than in most other people, so I'd assumed that played a role as well. I don't seem to lack attractiveness. Even today, I was ordering sandwiches sans makeup that a woman was making when a man working there essentially pushed himself in and took over and being extra friendly (which is fine by me as males there typically add in more to my sandwiches than females--though a guy I know says it's the exact opposite for him, and we both confirmed our impressions with kitchen scales!). Culture matters as well. I recall reading somewhere that French women thought too much (even a vulgar amount) of makeup (which they thought American women wore) signified being older or a prostitute. ('Course Americans like to criticize the French as well, including that women there don't shave, which isn't exactly true, just as I think they can overstate the popularity of makeup in American society, though there are those who live up to the stereotypes, of course.) What that means is that Leo who wants to look good and respectable who is raised in some French small town is going to approach makeup differently from some upper class neighborhood in New York City. Cap Sun, Cap Moon. Cap Mercury and Sag ASC friend doesn't wear it all very much, only really occasionally. They are pretty tomboyish.Another friend is a Scorpio- HUGE stellium in Scorpio, Aries moon and Virgo rising, has beautiful skin and only applies eye make up really and can look stunning in like 5 minutes. So can my Cap friend but I think she applies even less. She does her hair in slighty different styles though from day to day (ish) Two others are early Taureans. One is Virgo Moon, Aries Mercury and Gemini Venus. ASC unknown The other is 29* Virgo ASC, Moon and Venus conjunct exactly in Gemini and Mercury in Taurus. They all look wonderful without make-up at all. Me, on the other hand...ahahaha well, I LOVE it, but I also kind of need it because well, its just kinder to society to be honest. My skin is pretty awful, but I find applying eye makeup quite therapeutic. That's where you can get quite artsy with all the blending and the colours and whatnot. I don't usually bother with contouring and blusher and all that, I use foundation and concealer and powder, job done and then the eyes which i could spend forever on just because I can play with colours ^_^ IP: Logged |

Mercury ruled here (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus and Mars). Just mascara for me…sometimes that's too much.I touch my face a lot and rub my eyes without even knowing it, so the few times I've worn a decent amount of makeup, it always ends up on my hands. It makes me more self-conscious because then I worry that I've messed it up and wonder if it's visibly noticeable. It's easier to just go without, for me. IP: Logged |

I don't wear make up because I prefer being able to touch my face whenever the impulse comes. Too much money spent buying product, and it's a chore to do it every day.IP: Logged |

Edit long post. Meh. I find that as styles change, it looks rather outdated to me when people wear a lot of makeup. That's probably about it in a nutshell, for me. A small bit of eye makeup, light foundation, and a touch of tinted lip moisturizer/blush are enough for me. I used to wear a lot of makeup...eyeshadow, liner, mascara, foundation, powder, blush, and a tint on my lips. Now I kind of simplify it a bit, to some degree for the ease of it, and also because that seems to be a flattering trend for women, imo. Leo Asc, Aries Venus, Pisces Sun, Virgo Moon. Aquarius Mercury. IP: Logged |

My sister doesn't wear makeup, she doesn't really even know how to put it on. Sag Sun, Leo Rising, Pisces Moon.Myself...I enjoy wearing makeup and trying new things. I love red lips! Some days though, I go with the "natual" look out of convenience. Cap Sun, Taurus Rising, Sag Moon. From experience, I know a lot of women who prefer not to wear makeup. Taurus is the most prominent sign that I've noticed doesn't wear any. IP: Logged |

I think that could be it - even though i love make up and i as my mother and sister have my sun (ruler of asc for all of us) in geminy, they dont use make up - my sister only masks blemishes with little concealer, mother dosent care even to hide that - i on the other hand can get really insecure if i have bare skin ,sometimes i put eyeglasses on hoping it will distract people and hide face

I wear makeup. I lightly use my brown eyeliner pencil and then smudge it a little to create smokey effect. I usually wear a soft pink coloured lipstick and I put on some bronzer. I use eyelash curler but I usually don't wear mascara. I add highlighter under my eyebrow bone and on top of my cheekbones. Before that I add some concealer if I need to anywhere and then use sheer powder foundation to make skin look better. I don't like to use liquid foundation since it usually looks heavy and greasy. You can't even tell there's makeup when using powder foundation. I just felt like sharing it.IP: Logged |

I'm not sure about the Cap placements and Mercury placements. I'm a cap dom with 4 planets in Cap and a Mercury dom and I almost always were some type of makeup. I actually really enjoy makeup, I think it's fun. However maybe that's my Libra asc and Leo moon coming out, the more compliments I get the more my leo moon feels happy.IP: Logged |

I like wearing makeup. After all, I have Libra moon. Day time: I like to keep my makeup light, and natural looking, even for work. The many youtube makeup videos with women caking it on and on are not my style. Night time: If you're going out, anything goes. Now is the time to cake it on if you want. I still don't cake things on (virgo Sun and Venus), but I might emphasize eyes or lips more strongly. That's my makeup philosophy. IP: Logged |

Yea, like etherealsaturn and mergoat sun, I'm a cap and I like makeup. Though I don't wear much makeup because taking it off is a tedious task. I wear lipstick or tinted balm everyday - Etherealsaturn I love red lips too.Mascara and a bit of eyeliner for special occasions. IP: Logged |
