I was walking up a set of stairs when I saw him. EVERYTHING else around me went dark & all I could see was him. (If you've ever fainted, it was a similar feeling without the actual fainting).

I stared at him throughout the night and my inner voice said, "that's your future husband".

That was last April.

We've been engaged and living together since last July.

This is BY FAR the best relationship of my life. And like someone else said, it's 100% reciprocated.

As for love at first sight it's hard to explain, I don't think I loved that person the second I set eyes on him, but I could only think of our first conversation for the next several days, was as if the universe expanded. One could call it love, if love is what does it. At any rate I know that getting to know someone will never produce the same effect. If its not there the first second, it's useless trying to han around and see how it evolves

lol i experienced the exact same thing. you feel like you are about to pass out. that is what happened the time my first (and only) real boyfriend and i saw each other; time stopped and everything surrounding him turned blurry. a reciprocal intense, inmmediate infatuation.

we both had natal sun sextile pluto (same age birthdays four days apart, so we share that aspect with each other and anyone the same age as us.)
my natal venus sextile my/our pluto...
my draco venus opposes my/our pluto

i had venus sqaure uranus with another dude. energy was kind of the same thing there. never dated him mind you but we fancied each other. the attraction was rather "high volatge". yes he was super hot and there were butterflies a-go-go but it wasn't magnetising like my ex-boyfriend.

I know about that voice. I`ve heard it, but I was so not ready and so scared that I pushed it way down deep deep.
Impossible. Not Now. Not him.

But well, I do cross paths with him now and then still (have been doing so for many years), and everytime he is in my physical proximity, it is the same.

It might not be technically love at first sight, but I get the feeling that there is something "electric" going on. It`s hard to describe.

Interestingly over the course of these very short superficial "pathcrossings" I made a very personal journey, which led me to being much more open and very much less scared and wanting to run away.

Now I am mostly intrigued and curious, as to why exactly I am getting these electric surges around him, accompanied by very strong spiritual experiences (and he doesn´t seem even seem to be such a spiritual person himself), and why it is happening STILL.
Shouldn`t it had completely faded away?
I mean the first time I layed eyes on him (wel in real life, I dreamed of him before though) was like 7 years ago.

So, why it may not be love at first sight, there is something that is pretty intriguing to me, about him, about that unexpected "connection".

I think I agree with that.
But does real love even exist?
I don't mean to sound super skeptical but once you get to really know someone and alllll their flaws, it's quite difficult to feel the "love" and not get bored / irritated / frustrated after some time.

Or is it just me? Maybe it really is about "finding the right person"..

There is a HUGE difference between what happened in those instances and "lust at first sight."

With my tf it was like somebody set me on fire and sent 10,000 volts of electricity through me when we first met, and every time we interact for that matter. It's disgusting. My brother makes fun of me for it because it's REALLY obvious how this person affects me. We didn't even speak the first time we met, just stared at each other until my bff's brother almost literally dragged me away from him. I felt like I'd found a piece of me that I'd lost.
His Leo ASC, Venus, Merc, and Sun are conjunct my Leo ASC and trine my Venus.
His ASC is trine my Sun/Merc.
His Mars opposite my Mars/Uranus.
His Moon conjunct my Saturn.
10 individual combinations of 3 planets that form grand trines in our synastry, all right on top of each other.
His Juno opp my Juno/Vertex. The Juno-Juno opposition is almost exact, only a 6 minute difference.
His Vertex/Neptune is conjunct my Juno/Vertex on one side and my Uranus/Mars on the other.
Ah, and a Saturn-Neptune DW..
Our composite is a sight to behold, too, with Uranus opposing Jupiter/Chiron/Merc/Sun/and Venus, trine ASC and square Moon..

I walked in the door at a mutual friend's house and he was there in all his amazingness playing d.j. for the little get together we were having. I knew him, I loved him, he was mine and I was his in a barely measureable amount of time. It was never discussed whether or not we were together/dating...we just were.

It wasn't love at first sight but definitely a strong interest - with my former best friend. I remember the first few times I saw her, it was very intense, and we were just kids at the time.
There was so much fascination from my part, it's like I was in awe.
We have ASC exactly conjunct DSC, and her ASC falls on my NN.
My Sun/Mars/Pluto in her 12th, her Venus in my 8th.
Her Moon (widely) conjunct my ASC, and her Mercury conjunct my DSC.
It was a strong friendship that lasted several years. Now we've drifted apart but she's definitely a special person to me.
