Very late reply, but here it is:Haha, so my Pluto's in one of the "receive" houses as well and yes, I don't mind the analysis either! As long as it's not on the first day of meeting, I quite like people wanting to really get to know me. Maybe it's the square it makes to my Sun, my emotions are quite intense (as shown on this thread - sorry for that!) and do keep a lot of things to myself under all of that bubbly Leo fluff. I am looking for a partner who knows that relationships are going to have tough times and someone who doesn't give up at the first argument. You're going to see bad sides of someone, but know there's also a lot of good. I like the loyalty.
... And that's also the aspects you talked about. The rulers of my 11th and 2nd are connected and yes, getting a sense of belonging makes me feel confident, and gaining confidence usually makes it easy for me to approach people and be social. All of my "attraction" houses are connected to what I'm attracted to, so that'd be good, right?
Ah, it's a small nuance between the 2nd and 11th, but I see what you mean. And for a deeper meaning of Pluto here, well, quite some of my close friends would turn out to be victims of abuse or some sort. Something I would've never guessed from them - they were very private about it, which I completely understood of course.
You know, wow. My jaw dropped here... you just articulated what I've been feeling in social situations for as long as I can remember. The number of harsh aspects describe how often I had trouble fitting in. I often felt like I had to do all the work to get a group effort done and was constantly pushed into taking the lead, while I'm quite shy and a natural follower. Trines to my Sun definitely help me smooth things out.
Would minor aspects count for what you attract as well? And the sign that rules the house your chart ruler is in? (Like having mine in the 12th - Pisces, etc.)
About the "style of wanting to be courted" yes, it's spot-on! Just wow again. I do like a man to make it obvious how he feels about me. I wouldn't want to be carried on a pedestal, but my ego does need a stroke or two now and then. Ultra-cheesy stuff I would find quite cute, actually. And I tend to like any present I get, appreciating the gesture.
Yes, I see the link with derived houses. So people who are inclined to show their affection in a way that matches your 11th would see our responses as a cue to act?
And last question, does a planet that happens to be in the same house also count for who you attract? Like in my case, my 11th cusp is Leo, but my Mars in Virgo is here as well. Would it add to things by default? It fits with what I was panicking over a few days ago - attracting aggressive types.
