I have a funny Eris story. I swore one girl had it prominently. When we became friends, I asked her to look and it was conjunct her Moon.She wanted to get back at me and told me that I had the asteroid Do-Do conjunct my ASC. ------------------

Well, with asteroids or any placements in AStrology, you have to feel them out in real life. You can read the myths and study but you have to do charts and pick people's brains like crazy as to how the asteroids(planets)feel to them. That is how I do Astrology. It has to become practical and usable or else, it is just in your head. That is how I look at it anyway. ------------------

I have Eris conjunct DC from house seven, for a change, seems most conjunct from six, so it's nice and strong. Plus, it's in the uber Martian sign of Aries so yeah, I attract people who take great pleasure in annoying the bejeebus out of me on a regular basis. This much is truth.IP: Logged |

Here's something interesting that might be related to Panda Bear conjunct Saturn. Sometimes, Saturn is in house seven, depending on house system, sometimes eight. I have one friend who likes to email several links a day about animals. Whenever there's a story about Pandas, especially the babies, he sends the link. He also sends links about any wild animal that's cute, fuzzy or vulnerable. He's completely obsessed with them! I wonder if this is a manifestation of Saturn conjunct Panda Bear? As a matter of fact, I just emailed him, telling him this must be Saturn conjunct Panda Bear and he asked me if there are any asteroids named Llama (he's particularly fixated on those.) Retrograde Lust is in pisces, trine DSC ruler Moon, Uranus exact,biquintile pluto exact, and ( that's interesting) sextile chiron.I don't know how to link this to what Ami said wrt house rulers  Eris trine my merc-venus-neptune. Fantasis trine merc-venus, saturn (chart ruler)and neptune and opp pluto exact. Interesting find is Talent! Talent is in H7 leo! conjunct saturn exact,sun,sq uranus and chiron. Researching asteroids is new knowledge for me.  136818 Selqet conj sun 3 deg (too wide, I know ) In Egyptian mythology, Serket (also spelt Selchis, Selket, Selkis, Selkhit, Selkit, Selqet, Serkhet, Serket-hetyt, Serqet and Serquet) is the goddess of healing stings and bites who originally was the deification of the scorpion. Coincidentally, I'm a Scorpio! Asteroid Sumeria conjunct my mars by 1 degree. Sumerian past life perhaps? Venus conjunct Lucifer by 1 degree, and Kleopatra exact. wtf? 0.0  Freia conjunct mercury by 1 degree. Norse Goddess of Love and war, eh? I like ittt! So, it takes Eris 5 years to go through a sign? It would be changing degree though. So, it would touch different charts differently. Right? With asteroids, the orb is super small-- 3 degrees tops in a conjunction imo ------------------

Name asteroid conjuncts my Scorp planets (Pluto exact, mars by 1 deg, sun by 2 deg).Odd, because my name means "light" in Italian, and my Venus conjuncts Lucifer the "light-bringer". What's more, venus rules my 5th house, where my Scorpio planets are. In my family, I'm the so-called "black sheep". Coincidence? IP: Logged |

Get this and I am going to write an article on it when my eyes feel better. Travis Alexander has the NAME asteroid Jody in an exact conjunction with his Pluto.Pluto is the planet of primal passions. When you think of which planet would be the planet of Jody and him, it would be Pluto. That kind of tells the story. If anyone wants to help me research the other name asteroids in this chart, let me know. We can do a new thread in the Asteroid Forum or just do it here, whichever you want. if so, we could research Travis, Alexander, Arias and you could put in Jody again to see if anything else conjuncts it in Travis chart like another asteroid etc. however, the conjunction with Pluto is exact! ------------------
