A lot of my close friends have 12th house suns... I think we naturally gravitate to each other because we understand that feeling of wantin to isolate. Thoughts...?I know a person with sun, mercury, saturn, uranus, and neptune in his 12th, far from the ascendant. He's a mess, pretty twisted person. No backbone. Half-truths.
I know from experience, it's just not easy having all those twelfth house planets for some people. I feel bad for the ones who struggle in their lives with twelfth house placements and it shows up looking like weaknesses. I have so many nightmares about being completely powerless. I have experienced those dreams where I cannot move in the middle and I think someone has broken into my home and in the nightmare I am completely paralyzed and totally terrified out of my wits. These are the types of feelings I am talking about. It's not that we want to run we just feel like if we don't the fist of doom will come down with ferocious, destructive, might and that will be it. Sometimes, I do have an impending sense of doom. I am sorry you feel depressed. I have depression, grew up fatherless, too.

Venusian moon, thanks :/ SSS: nodding and 'mm'-ing in agreement. Completely. Like the tides, it changes every day (sometimes every couple hours) so that's good. It's important these 12th housers find antidotes - for me art is a huge help. As well as astrology. I forgot, my south node is there in the 12th also, conjunct my sun 12th house cusp. So to me, sun chiron and south node would be hard placements but I cant distinguish between them how they express individually in the 12th. I feel like in my friends stellium, saturn is his hardest. He's a cappy. ------------------ Cancer sun Leo rising Libra moon 17 July 1991 7:27am EST IP: Logged |

Samo, I have a twelfth house south node conjunct Pluto. I feel kinda fortunate, I have so much going on in my twelfth yet haven't experienced the true horror some have. I have read about people with only one planet in twelve and their lives are completely messed up. Jupiter's in my twelfth too, maybe that's why? IP: Logged |

Wow I feel like pluto on the SN would be hell. I wonder if you're very north node strong in life? I would think that placement would cause serious karmic lessons if you were to honor more south node tendencies. The jupiter is probably helping you out, must be sprinkling some nice optimism over you :P

You're right about that I have had karmic lessons but I like my Piscean sixth house nouth node. It allows me to see the wonder and beauty in everyday life, to escape as well. My sixth and twelfth houses kinda work together with Virgo and Pisces, there's a pattern involving these two signs, their traditional houses, and the nodes. It's very weird and obvious. When I was really young I pretty much lived through my twelfth house south node and Pisces north node. My imagination was so vivid and I spent all my time thinking up stories. Everyone commented on how amazing my imagination was. It was something else. I had a talent for ad libbing my own ideas into vivid stories of my own creation though I suspect they were inspired by books I read, television, or something I heard. When I started going to school, I began to work more with my Virgo south node/sixth house north node. It's really strange the way my nodes work. Since the south node is in Virgo yet in the natural house of Pisces, it can work with the Pisces north node and still be a twelfth house south node so it's sorta like the Pisces node is in the twelfth instead of the sixth and my day to day living sorta just merged with my imagination until my days became more structured and I had to do mundane tasks like practice penmanship, stuff like that. Boring drills to improve my skills. And to make the pattern even more bizarre, I have my sun in the twelfth house with my Virgo south node heh. It's another part of it adding another layer of complication. It allows me to access altered states or reality on a regular basis and enter the fourth dimension at will IP: Logged |

That's so interesting to hear... Because I have had such similar experiences. Imagination as a kid was WHACKED and out there, other worlds, psychic ability... Yea the whole sun conjunct south node or even in te same zodiac sign is like - 'whaa???' This is my core but also my shadow?! Haha and in the 12th- causing psychological upheaval trying to understand the self and where to go. I heard once from someone to honor both- north and south. Go towards the north but with the help of the south as a safety net almost.

My chart ruler Pluto is retrograde in the 12th house, separating from a conjunction to the Asc, 6 degrees orb. I am not the most social person i know, i enjoy spending time alone. IP: Logged |

I think it's Mercury, mercury is ruled by virgo/gemini and the opposite is pisces, ruling 12th house...it's just really not comfortable in the 12th house...I personally get afraid of people with mercury there, I feel like they aren't telling the truth and that they are hiding important thoughts and feelings... My ex boyfriend had both sun and mercury in 12 and it was impossible to know what he was feeling exactly... even though he had sun conjunct mercury, it was just like he was always hiding something... it's just hard to get really close to people with that placement

Really surprised I'm the first one here to say Venus! It's cr-p, especially since it's my chart ruler. It took me a good 20 years before I even felt remotely attractive and lovable. Only started growing confident with my body then. Given, it's not the only thing in my chart. Having Venus in helpful Virgo and square Jupiter (overdoing for others) wasn't enough, it's in my 12th house too. Basically most of the things I do and say to show I care are seen as "just normal" or not seen at all, let alone appreciated. Lots of heartbreak over artistic work that I made and got completely overlooked. And your helpfulness always gets taken for granted - like, "We don't have to ask or anything, he/she'll do it". Pretty much a constant assuming I'll be okay with it and there's no need to discuss it with me first or anything. Not very happy with my 12th house Mercury either. I hardly ever know what to say, muddled thinking, hard time asserting myself, hard time getting things across the way it's intended. I'm often been gossiped about viciously by people I never thought would do that. (Secret enemies, yeah.) Lots of plans are made behind my back, even when it's about me. Like you don't get acknowledged as someone important enough to discuss things with. But I prefer it over the 12th house Venus. At least my Mercury's well-aspected. I prefer other Mercuries that are in some way weakened, it's a similar energy. IP: Logged |

It could mean an abusive mom too or just mother issues in general. Sometimes a mom who is too over protective or emotional. My daughter has moon square mars and she is only 5. Shes argumentive. I know we will have problems when she is a teen so im trying real hard to change that starting now.
She also has moon conjunct Asc, moon square neptune, moon trine uranus, moon sextile mc, moon sextile jupiter, moon inconjunct uranus.
I love my baby. I pray she doesnt become a rebellious teen like i was ;( We are both gemini sun and mercury, her venus is also in gemini. IP: Logged |

SOUTH NODE IN THE TWELFTH HOUSE (INNER AWARENESS) You are highly developed on a spiritual level which is extremely important to you. You have a conscious awareness of the spiritual side of life. When faced with too much work such as time schedules, deadlines, demands etc. you have a tendency to find an excuse to get out of the situation because you need to take a step back and recuperate. You have a tendency to daydream and fantasise, this enhances your ability to function in the real world. You have an instinctive need to gain peace of mind. You know what it feels like to be a victim. You have been one in many lifetimes, so you will create a new reality. You are in the process of creating something opposite to that of being a victim. You have a tendency to be inactive, to give up at the final hurdle. You must learn not to give up. You have an inner awareness of the spiritual dimensions of life and you are attuned to the higher forces. You are very sensitive and easily hurt. Through sensitivity you are very careful not to hurt others. In fact, you can be more concerned about the suffering you see in others than for your own suffering. You can be attracted to meditation. This can clear your mind. Your imagination can be active, you can imagine all kinds of negative outcomes that can override logic and interfere with efficiency. You should develop a sound philosophy in order to deal with reality on a practical level. You should concentrate on positive outcomes. MY NORTH NODE IS ALSO IN MY 12th house conjunct my sun and this is pretty accurate:
NORTH NODE TWELFTH HOUSE (OUTER AWARENESS) You have a problem with asking for help, or admitting to certain aspects of your inner psyche that do not come up to your ideal, “How you want others to see you” or, “The image you wish to present to others”. You have a private world of your own, and only your most trusted friends will know the inside story. You are the master of pretence. You prefer to hide your feelings in order to retain your self image. You will develop and grow through inner faith and spiritual awareness. Although you want to be loved, you do not want to inflict your suffering onto others. Instead you project an image of your own creation where others see you as strong and in control. You have come into this world to transcend trauma and hardship. You understand suffering and through compassion you can lift the spirits of others. You radiate a natural healing energy. As you help those who need assistance you will come to understand that everyone needs compassion and understanding. http://marianneohagan.com/astrology/moon-s-nodes/moon-s-nodes- houses/?PHPSESSID=085f6868f86c960d722daff0877de7d2 IP: Logged | |
