She'll probably find out more by posting her chart and seeing what aspects in synastry are creating her puzzlement about air signs.

True. I have seen her chart, she is air void so air seems to have her puzzled.

There was no need to post a chart for this particular discussion.

And I did not *read* about them. This is from my personal experiences with them.

Thank you.

Exactly. This thread was not created to offend. It was created to see if light could be shed into a side of them that I may not be aware of.

Also,

I am not puzzled by them LOL. I just prefer for people to have some complexity to their personality, is all. Not always trying to rationalize or over-think everything. Layers...that's what I enjoy.

I meant that I read some generalizations about air signs on this thread, not that you did.

Both aquaguy and I have our Aqua suns in the 12th house.

12th house = complexity central.

I understand totally, LovelyAries, it's your dramatic language. 12thHouser is sensitive to it but he sounds like a wonderful person and he means no harm

I know what you mean about trying to grasp an element that's either void or nearly void in your natal chart. I am the same with the water element. Water signs fascinate me endlessly.

You're killing me with this 'dramatic language'. I cannot help it, I'm an Aries.

So Starlight...can you do a hypothetical soul-mate?? What's your dream WATER placements in a man?

I like all the water placements. My biggest crush ever was on a guy with Venus conjunct Mars in Cancer.

What is your mars again Starlight? Venus in good aspect to Mars is always a plus, I imagine.

I forget which placement it was, but I was reading about one of the guys that was trying to pursue me and it stated that he was "unfaithful" and "unstable".

Eh...that couldn't be good LMAO.

Venus and Mars aren't in water or earth in my chart. It didn't matter because my moon conjunct his sun so that was enough, apparently because my moon is exalted and in a Venusian sign. I have Cancer MC and his Venus and Mars were up there near or conjunct it one and your moon conjuncts my MC exactly.

You know, aquas and geminis do have complexity in their personalitys-they just doesnt show it to anyone they're not interested in, simple as that.
Do you understand how generalising all these statements are? I mean this way of approaching actually this topic is lacking depth.

Different strokes for different folks. If they're not your style then do them a favor as well as yourself and leave them for those of us who DO like them that way.

And I disagree that air signs lack complexity or are fake, if anything that shows an equal lack of understanding that strong air signs sometimes do for strong water signs (believing water signs aren't "deep" they're delusional).

Air signs are very interested in me. I simply haven't shared their same interest on many occasions LOL. That's my point - I wondered if I may be acting a bit unfairly towards them. I said that near the start of this thread.

Unless their aspects prove otherwise, an Aquarius simply isn't going to have the same depth to their persona as a Scorpio or a Cancer would. We will simply have to agree to disagree.

I do enjoy Aquarians though, they are fun friends.

I have a Gemini Stellium and the last thing I am is fake

You just cant generalise people on their Sun Sign. Its exactly what astrology ISNT about. Thats why there are charts. Im sick and tired of topics like this generalising Sun Signs.

I believe that deciding if someone has depth is something you cant even tell if you havent known them for years. Because after all, we see what other people choose to show to us.

I dont agree at all with generalising like that , all Cancers have more depth than all Aquarius. <---this is a statement that has no depth. Because, whether or not someone has depth has to do with other factors too.

Anyway, I'm not here to start a catfight, you probably are biased due to your personal experiences and thats fine.

I'm glad that you don't intend to catfight because that was not my intention at all.

I understand that everything isn't determined by the Sun Sign. You're right! Hell, I'm much more complex than your typical Aries LOL. I just wanted to discuss that (1) aspect for a moment though to discuss my experience. If you noticed, I did list a couple of "chart ideas" for the Aquarian Man that would attract me romantically. I realize that I should consider being more flexible...

Hmm you know what I dont exactly blame you..who doesnt jump to conclusions? Most people do.. We all stereotype people, many of us stick to our first impression. We are just human beings and thats why we act like this.

I love Aries people because they're fierce and free. They tell you what they have in their mind-sometimes they're too blunt maybe, but to me they seem like a carefree child who expresses freely what they have in mind.

The reason that I disagreed with you so strongly is because I believe that stereotyping is bad for ourselves firstly and secondly for the others. When we stereotype people we just miss their really good parts. We may believe someone is superficial bc their Sun Sign is that, but right there at the very moment that we decide this and put the person into the stereotyped category we think he belongs- we just fall into our trap and we miss the true colous of that very person we ditched just to fulfil our stereotype.

Really, people are so different, and that is what makes everything so interesting. If I get to compare all my friends of the same sign trying to find common ground, it is certain that I will end up to the conclusion that everyone has a small different side that totally distinguishes him from the other.

I wish we were all able to accept other as they are, being free from all kind of stereotypes.
Why does it matter if someone is tall or short, fat or skinny, black or white, gay or straight, Cancer or Libra?
Its everyones soul and heart that matters

-Sorry this got totally off topic and I was talking about everyone, myself included, its just that I felt the need to take all this off mu chest

Lovely Aries

I have not read the whole thread or scoped out the interactions between people but if anyone tries to bait you, just ignore.

Human nature is what it is, even in the best of places, so just ignore anyone if you get the FEELING you are being baited.

The person will go away if ignored enough.

Take it from a pro who learned by doing everything wrong

Oh that's fine! Get it OFF your chest! I'm a fan of doing that LOL. All of us do "generalize" at times and we all need to get away from that. Which is why I wanted to create this thread - to call myself out Haha. I truly love interating w/ people from ALL walks of life - it's food for my Aries Soul!

Air/Fire interaction can go just about anywhere! Thank you for this discussion.
