Topic: Why is it the people whose planets fall in my 12th, always end up devastating me??

Guy 1: Sun and venus in my 12th house.
He was kinda like my first love but he hurt me more than i thought anyone could.Guy 2: Mars and Mercury in my 12th.
Never thought anyone could come as close to hurting me like guy 1, but he did. These are the only two people who have ever hurt me to my core. IP: Logged |

House of hidden enemies perhaps. Perhaps that's it? Also self-undoing and I know from experience that some of my own self-undoing definitely affected others. What happened? IP: Logged |

With the first guy there was alot of cheating, lying and leaving me for other people. He was (& still is) in and out of my life alot. Very unstable and i was anxious around him just wondering when he would leave again for someone else. That was probably our uranus synastry though.Guy 2 is very hard to explain bc there was no cheating but yet in alot of ways he has caused intense emotional pain. We have venus (him) sq.pluto (me) in synastry so that could be why also. Right now he has completely (and i mean completely... he has Scorpio moon lol ) cut me out of his life again for a small misunderstanding, even though i tried to talk it out with him. IP: Logged |

had a very close friend whose (scorpio) moon fell into my 12th - he ended up hurting me deeply as well. I think when their planets are in your 12th they know you very well and can ultimately use that knowledge to inflict hurt. a lot of trust is broken because a 12th house overlay to some degree means you trust that planet person with deep feelings/thoughts you might not tell others IP: Logged |

Sorry you have to deal with these people who leave you feeling bad. People should create good feeling among each other imo. That's what life should be about. Yes i did. At first i didnt even want to give him a chance but then i just kinda figured why not and i ended up falling in love with him ... even though i didnt see it coming.
Could you tell me anything specific about mars in 12th overlay? And another thing i just realized ... these two guys are the only people I've ever said i love you to first.

I dont think they knew me that well. I believe they THOUGHT they did when they weren't even close. They both had difficulty trusting me, even though i wasn't doing anything wrong.
I did open up to them more than others though. And yes i thought i could reveal my deepest feelings to them but it turns out they only used that against me.

This. I think 12th house Synastry is the worst overlay...eventually. The house person almost always gets so screwed in some way. Seen it so many times with this overlay. IP: Logged |

I've had that with a few guys as well and thankfully, I didn't let them get too close. Both had Moon in my 12th. Confusion, distrust, like they are trying to take over your soul through a mist under the door, like they know who you are and are invading your most private sanctuary. I'm a very airy person, may be a watery person would do better with such synastry. I run like hell when I feel the 12th. I'm sorry to hear what has happened.IP: Logged |

My natal 12th house stellium (sun, venus, mercury, uranus, neptune) falls into my husband's 12th house. His natal 12th house neptune falls into my 12th house. So far, no deceit or deception that I know of. I don't plan on doing anything that may hurt him or the relationship. One thing with the 12th house is that there can be a lot of buried feelings, secrets or things in the past can resurface and wreck the relationship. What sign is your 12th if I may ask?
I think maybe certain sign/planet combinations can make a big difference. Like maybe some signs handle it a little more smoothly.
Plus aspects.
An ex-gf's Venus is conjunct my Venus in the 12th. Her lilith is also conjunct my Venus in the 12th. Her Nessus is there also, maybe conjunct my Mercury, I'm not sure. (which is bad I know lol) Oh her SN is also conjunct Venus in my 12th.
Despite the romantic relationship not working out we are just awesome friends. We love to talk to each other whether serious or just fun and we have a lot of laughs. Her sun is in my 1st though. But yes, 12th is not all bad. IP: Logged |

You’re right. Different sign/planet combinations manifest differently. My stellium is in Capricorn, with the exception of mercury – it’s in Sagittarius. Plus I have cap Saturn in the 1st. Overall I’m earth dominant so although the 12th house soak me to the bone and blurs the lines, I still know my boundaries. In synastry, Sun and Jupiter in the 1st are awesome - the “You light up my life and bring me good luck” placements. Nessus in synastry has a bad rap but it brings strong attraction, sometimes too strong it turns into obsession lol. I love Lilith in synastry too – fantasies and deepest darkest dreams. Did the Lilith-venus conjunction bring out the best and worst of you? It’s cool that you two remain friends. I always feel a twinge of regret when a relationship breaks down and two people can’t be friends because of bad feelings or foul play. This is one of the main reasons why I keep my acts clean in relationships, I don’t want the other person to have to crawl away bearing severe emotional wounds and bad memories.

I beg to differ with u ash and lily about the house person being devastated when its the other way around, often the planet person is being kept in the dark and out of the loop, being put under unjust suspicion for **** house person can't fess up to, they dont call it the trash house for nothing, its ****** therehonesty is the best policy and keeping things above board IP: Logged |

It kind of brought out the best of both of us in a sense. For example, I was the more educated and bigger money earner but she was far more driven to work for whatever she wanted and being smart about investments, big or small. She made me feel proud and I encouraged her to follow her heart in work. Whatever she was driven to do.
She's still that way.
Other than just plain fun and laughter, work was a big thing in that relationship. There wasn't a ton of romantic gestures. Just laughter, physical closeness, and work.
The problem arose when she tried to make me more driven by force. LOL That doesn't work with me. Even if I'm plainly wrong I'll resist if it's by force.
I'm Leo afterall. Pad my ego and confidence and I'll do just about anything for them.  It's really nice that you and your husband can enjoy a happy marriage with 12th house involved. When it's bad, it's bad but when it's good I think there's a really really special gift there. IP: Logged |

J/k I know what you mean, some leos I know irl are among the people who response well to gentle persuasion, not force. Thank you. It’s has only been nearly 5 years, and there are many things ahead of us. But yeah, I trust that we’ll handle things with style.

I can attest it's not all total doom and gloom; the trick really does seem to be transparency. Worst issues I've had resulted from fear, insecurity, and anxieties taking root from bad communication or lacking honesty because of it. In my current relationship, I'm the Moon-Uranus-Mars; he's the Venus-Karma-Juno. I was realising just today how I begin to silently panic whenever he's distant or we don't seem 'on the same page'. I just start thinking, that's it - I'm done. It's odd I'd be this way at all, since I'm typically logical to the exclusion of my emotions. But he makes me so ... classically 'girly'. So strange for me.

12muddy, I've experienced it the way you have too. When people have their personal planets in my 12th, I love it. There seems to be this sweet unconditional feeling of love coming from them that feels very warm. quote:

It depends on how you look at it. With this house, it's easier if you can step back and take a philosophical or spiritual approach to what is causing you sorrow. A good cliche that goes along with it would be if you love something set it free if it comes back to you it's yours if it doesn't it was never meant to be. 12th house is not about giving up because you feel doomed but continuing on to experience whatever life throws your way. It's just parts of the overall experience and you can choose what parts you will add. You can balance 12th house Libra this way, maybe? By adding better parts than other people have? IP: Logged |
