Saturn opp Venus here and, just like Doux Reve said, very attracted to Uranian types. IP: Logged |

Lol, I need to share this with you. A girl who used to be my friend was born a week before me. She has a freakin' Capricorn Venus conjunct Saturn under 1 (!) degree and she's a player I think I can say that about her. She has a Cancer Moon (possibly opposite Saturn), dunno her angles. She also prefers younger guys and I'm the opposite. This is one weird case, don't you think?------------------ I'm sooo happy! I mean, cappy. IP: Logged |

No I don't think it's weird. I used to manipulate too, before I mature up. I was doing it for self-validation. Also I go for the extremes in love affairs; either older men or younger men. No in between. IP: Logged |

I have the venus sextile saturn and I'm ok with my looks. At home I feel good looking, but once I've been out there in the bright light for some hours and my skin has been damaged by the wind and the weather then I don't feel as beautiful any longer:P Other times I'm like feeling seriously good looking and then I'm out in town and NO one is approaching me I can get all mad like "Why can't you people see how beautiful I am today?" and then I get depressed again….sometimes I really think I'm maniodepressive IP: Logged |

I have Venus in Leo in the 4th squaring Saturn in the 7th. The orb is loose (six degrees) but since Venus also squares my ASC (very tight orb) it's the elbow of a t-square. And since I have a Taurus ASC Venus is my chart ruler to boot. This configuration isn't my least favorite thing about my chart but it's close. However, I haven't found that it's affected my romantic life negatively. That may be because I also have Uranus in the 7th (which IIRC correctly is supposed to attract people) and Venus trine my 8th House Neptune. Between that and having my Venus and Moon in Leo I am hugely romantic. Also, I learned how to deal with it from my mom, who has Venus in the 4th square Saturn in the 7th and in much tighter orb too. She handles it really well, at least when it comes to her romantic life. She and my dad have been happily married for more than 35 years. She didn't get married until after her Saturn Return though. In terms of my own love life, I'm single right now but I was in a relationship for more than 6 years. I'm 27 so that's most of my adult life. We broke up because of compatibility issues but until the last few months it was a good relationship. I will say that I've always known that I wouldn't get married until after I turned 30 - not that I would want to anyway. But I think the way to deal with Venus square Saturn is just to take your love life very seriously and eventually that will pay off. Well, that's my 2 cents anyway.I think the effect of Venus square Saturn on the rest of my social life has actually been worse. I usually feel awkward when I first meet people and so I avoid social situations. The weird thing is that when I'm not freaking out I'm actually fine... I mean, I'm not the life of the party or anything but I'm also not a social outcast. I think I just psych myself out. quote: Originally posted by StarlightSmileSupreme: Everyone with this does seem really serious and a bit sensitive, too, expecting a lot and feeling somewhat undervalued. That definitely describes me. Sometimes I wish I were less sensitive and less serious but I've come to see that our weaknesses can be our strengths. I also expect a lot but I prefer to see it as having high standards. Well, what do you expect - I have my Venus in Leo even if it is square Saturn. quote: Originally posted by FireMoon: And I would think after years of being so hard on yourselves eventually you'd just stop giving a f*** what other people think lol
Ha ha, that's definitely what happened with me. It took a while but eventually I just got tired of caring. Really, there are better things to worry about. I still get attacks of self-consciousness but then I remember that most people are focused on themselves and not at all interested in me LOL.

That's interesting because she's only been married once, briefly in her early 20s. She's engaged now but she's in her early 40s. So in her case Venus-Saturn definitely delayed marriage. Hopefully her second will be happier than her first! Just remembered Gisele Bundchen has the square and she's married to Tom Brady... although she didn't marry until after her Saturn Return. So I do think Saturn-Venus delays marriage, or a successful marriage anyway, but it doesn't necessarily deny it in the long run. Also, given how gorgeous both of them are I think it's fair to say that Venus-Saturn doesn't make people with the aspect ugly! IP: Logged |

Agreed! It's a shame when NtN feels less pretty. In that though I think most women have their moments. I have Venus (Scorpio, H1) opposite Saturn and I think I'm really quite cute. I'm not the best looking girl in the room, but that's OK. I don't expect to be. I'm happy with how I look. (actually right now I am cuz I'm alone. heehee) These aspects are only a problem UNTIL you learn to love and accept yourself. Once you do that everything else will fall into place. Honestly, all these aspects have two sides and/or a lesson to learn. I always look for the good side and embrace that or look for the lesson and work on that. THIS is the benefit of astrology I think. Just to add, there's been a lot of talk of Venus/Sat being lonely and depressed or not being able to have relationships. So not true! You are not fated to this. I've had great relationships. I'm not in a relationship now but I'm not looking for one. I'm enjoying the flirting too much. Can't do that when I'm in a relationship. So might as well enjoy it while I can. But I agree with those who say enjoy the other aspects of your lives and when you are happy with yourself and your life, you'll be amazed at what good things can happen. Also, you youngin's out there! It's good if loves comes after your Saturn return. So build the foundations of the life you want in all the other things, work, study, friends, etc so you have a strong base when your Saturn return comes. Listen to grandma. (Ok, I'm not exactly a grandma..... ) IP: Logged |
