In my experience, the Asc sign is very evident in idnividuals and tehn followed very closely by the Moon.

I identify with my Leo ASC the most out of all three. Most of my chart is fire if not by sign then by house placement and I think this might be part of the reason. Plus my Sun trines my ASC so there's all sorts of mutual understanding and energy flow there.
My Pisces Sun is next in line, the only problem is with my mutable sun being trine my fixed ASC, my ASC takes over more often than not. I do have the tender feelings of a Pisces, they're just triggered by Leo's peeves.
And finally, my Taurus Moon. Earth signs are the hardest for me to understand and it's probably a big reason why I don't "get it" with my Moon very well. I do display some Taurean attributes, no doubt about it, but it doesn't feel like me when I think of a Taurus anything. My Moon is also conjunct Algol, though, and quincunx my Uranus/Mars conjunction. I think the afflictions to it are why I have such a hard time identifying with it.
