Yes…the ONLY well aspected planet in my horoscope (Venus) Is in scorpio…. I was so happy when I first found out, later on I really regret that…
It's nice to have many good venus aspect, but the scorpio just seems to creep up on me, making me jealous and possessive… I know how to keep it in though!

Others don't either, still very popular etc.

It depends on what aspects might mitigate the "negative" energies of those planets in fall/detriment. Also, if others don't notice the "negative" energy, they might have aspects--in synastry--that receive those planets well, so they might not notice it, either.

Would that make his Venus hidden from view or only coming out through aspects in more public houses?

We're going to have to open up a thread just for your S.O. Kero! Haha

tall, conventionally good looking, into sports etc, not an as$hole.
People like this are usually popular.

The twist is he's not into his popularity, Moon and mars are in the 8th house. Secretive and private etc.

As for planets in signs is just a style fromwhich they express themselves..
Some people love them others hate them

For example I'm not into domicile venus, I prefer more aggressive lovers, I'm not into frilly gestures.

@sss Venus square moon, venus square mars, venus opposite jupiter, venus sextile saturn, venus square uranus/neptune

Well yes, Kero, good looking people who aren't jerks are typically well liked and an angular Venus can be an indication of this. It's not always a matter of changing. Often there are personality disorders involved and those are notoriously difficult to alter, it's not always just a matter of switching to another mode of being. Humans are complicated!

You S.O. does have some afflictions but Venus in the fourth house might be a cozy place for Venus to be

I like Venus in Aries, personally.

haha noooooooo.. I think there are a few of those floating around

I dunno I'm also over all these cute things like fall, detriment, affliction.
It's all personal taste.
I like moon scorpio
I like mercury in pisces
I like venus aries
I like moon capricorn

I find people with a lot of afflictions are rough around the edges, sexy, and interesting compared to people with soft ass charts because they make for soft people..
I'm not into soft and delicate...

lol ime yes.

Too many soft aspects make life easier.
Or a lot of times lack the edge a square gives.
Even if they are attractive looking their personalities are sooo uninteresting.

They're uninteresting to you. That doesn't mean they're uninteresting to others. Again, it's about receptivity in synastry.

speaking of synastry-too many soft aspects in synastry are also uninteresting.

I've checked out celebrities too. Synastry activates when two people have contact.

Amber Rose has one of the most amazing soft charts I've ever seen.
All sextiles..
Yet I find her personality so uninteresting even though she has a unique appearance.

Beyonce is also another uninteresting personality with plenty of soft aspects.

Everyone loves Beyonce. She is kinda boring. I get what you mean about edginess. People with softer aspects might have a pathological fear of scandal while those with the squares and opposition aren't so nervous about drama.

In synastry, softer aspects can be what's more desired since there's a greater flow of the energy with both people involved. Harder apsects in a composite help bind the relationship and make it last. Hard aspects in synastry spell drama (not unlike some of the threads I've read on here where people are seeking help and both the OP and their S.O. have hard aspects in synastry). Some people say they like the drama, until the sh*t hits the fan. Then they end up whining on here. lol

People only know celebrities from interviews they give, and celebrities will reveal only what they want to about themselves in an interview. Reality TV shows don't reveal a celebrity's personality. The show gets edited, plus, the celebrity reveals only what they're willing to. And of course, we know these people so well as to conclude whether they're uninteresting or not. lol

Some celebrities are edgier than others. They work to cultivate an edgier image and want the reaction. Such celebrities could have more conjunctions, squares and opps in their natal charts and they thrive on the difficulties tension promises.

Plenty of celebrities within 5 minutes can show the world a glimpse of their personality.
Jennifer Lawrence and Aubrey Plaza, Russell Brand are a good examples of celebs who can captivate and intrigue an entire audience with their presence . Check out their charts.

Regardless if it's an act but they have that quality.

Exactly. A glimpse. Have to wonder what parts of their chart a person's catching in that glimpse.

Yes and they tell their publicity agents what they want to focus on, what causes. They work on their public image. Ever wonder why some of them are so much sexier than others? It's on purpose! Some of them will tackle subjects society does not approve of and they know they will get flack over.

Some of them will use their image to push boundaries. It's no accident. They are well aware of what they are doing.

I notice many actors and actresses with many squares and oppositions. A lot of them seem to have at least one light or planet in domicile, too

True, but again, it depends on the celebrity. The A-listers tend to have a mind of their own and although they may have publicist, don't necessarily listen to their advice. They go with their instincts.

Keep in mind, any antics on a celebrity's part are simply to boost sales of their products. So, there's promotion, then there's drama. If you can't sell your products based on quality and have to resort to drama to get the job done, that says something.

At some point, the A Listers feel their legions of fans will follow them no matter what, that's when they will push the boundaries as far as they will go. Demi Moore is a good example. It's not always about sales. What they wish to do is alter the world in which they live by using their power of celebrity. It's a power trip for them, basically.

Even if they are being told to act a certain way, not everyone has that ability, being quirky, charming, and exciting all at the same time on command is a talent called acting.
An actor with dramatic aspects can convey a certain type of behavior naturally.
Nobody is exciting 24/7 but when the time arises, who is comfortable with dark gritty, someone who is soft by nature and has no experience with their dark side? I don't think so.
Notice how performers are often appropriately type casted by their birth charts.
