Notice how performers are often appropriately casted by their birth charts.
Another way of looking at it, acting is one of the hardest professions on earth to make a living at so the few who become famous and make millions on each movie have to work super hard to get where they are and people who are capable of putting that much time and energy into something usually have tension in their charts. Some say the tense aspects are the challenges someone has in their life or career, if their career is their life.

It can be difficult but look at actors like Halle Berry. Her birth chart is also soft. She's known for her beauty, a delicate beauty queen? Everything has been handed to her.One harsh aspect sun and neptune she is able to channel it to get her that one oscar. but notice all those razzies.. people can't this beauty queen too seriously.... sun square/ opposite neptune is extremely common with actors, from what I noticed. In bollywood it's all connections. either your family is in the industry or you're some beauty queen like aishwariya rai.. Notice how Bollywood movies suck.. very frilly unrealstic. I've check out their birth charts, sextile/trine based stelliums Aishwariya Rai is like the only actor with intense aspects, notice her fame in the west.. Priyanka chopra is another middle class beauty queen that has gotten international attention, a lot of harsh aspects too. Her one role this movie I saw last year where she played a handicapped/disabled young women was quite impressive... I did not expect that. A lot of intense saturnian plutonians roles for that industry.. IP: Logged |

Look at Byran Cranston! The star of breaking bad, he use to be the dad in malcomn in the middle amazing how he could tap into his dark side to play this intense role. he has a cardinal grand cross in his birth chart involving moon, venus, neptune, uranus My s.o also has a cardinal grand cross! No way about Halle Barry. I just saw a movie not too long ago, The Call, and she was not soft at all in that. However, despite her tough roll in that film, she did have a softer, vulnerability to her. She had erred and it got to her. A harder person would have coped better, but that was her character, not her. IP: Logged |

I know what you mean, everyone has at least one tough aspect though. Hardly anyone has a chart that's completely soft, full of trines and sextiles, only. A chart with only one hard aspect and several softs could still be considered soft. I was contemplating Halle's successful career and she does go for the tough yet vulnerable roles, like in Losing Isaiah and Gothika. She is great at portraying her softer side in her roles. Suit yourself, Kero. I think of this as more a discussion than argument, btw. IP: Logged |

I believe Ceri has Mercury conjunct her Sun too and she feels it doesn't combust it, instead it makes Mercury more prominent.
When I first started studying astrology I felt the same way!!! In fact, it wasn't until I was here on LL and heard about (then went and read about vigorously) the condition of Mercury combust that I would have thought anything negative could come from the placement. My Sun is my chart ruler and Mercury conjunct the chart ruler SHOULD give me an expressive/mercurian side. Especially since it's such a close conjunction @ 1'46" orb. IP: Logged |

No, everything has not been handed to her. For example, it's well known that she fought to get her role in "Monster's Ball" for which she won an Oscar. People seem to think they know what celebrities are like as people because they're a fan.

I like my Venus in Scorpio. I like the attention it brings me and I'm not a very jealous or possessive person. Though it sometimes creeps up. If it creeps up it is just a sign that that guy is not right for me and I move on. My Saturn is in Taurus in the 7th so I've alway had solid dependable and loyal serious relationships. Any one who is flighty and has a wandering eye is cut from the list of potentials. Sure then I get all broody for a little while after I have to let them go. But that's all part of the fun of dating and falling in love.
