Pisces, Neptune & the 12th house.

I find i have troubles with my self-identiy reguarly, this is annoying as i have a 1st house Sun.

I have North Node in the 12th house, Saturn in Pisces 3rd house & Moon conjunct Neptune 2nd.

I think all of the water signs would relate to this. Their element being transcendent and not stable.

Doing this is pushing yourself away from Saturn & Reality, but if you look at it Spiritually this is a good thing.

If you're having troubles with it i would say stay away from all substances & Alcohol.

I would guess it's my mutable Sag that loves to mix with others, Libra that wants to understand other points of view as well as respect the hosts or place, and secretive Scorpio.

But I've never had a "weak sense of identity." To me mixing with a different group was just like changing clothes. Back in the Bible Belt people would dress and act different for church but then put on different clothes and act differently once outside of it, and that's normal. Most people can relate to doing that with work, too. I just took that principle to the extreme so that one day I could dress up and mix with ravers and the another day do the same with goths, and it was all like a costume I put on. In a lesser way I could mix with vegans one day and hunters the next and they generally were never the wiser. It's not that I became someone else though it affected which parts of me I showed off and which parts I kept muted. I enjoyed passing but I never felt any confusion about who I was.

Oh yes, I wouldn't saying mixing in is having a weak sense of identity since you're doing it knowingly.

I have everything in 11, 12, 1, 2 with Saturn anchoring the whole thing in Taurus in the 7th.

Also, apparently my Mars in Libra H12 "doesn't help" me make up my mind either! Sigh.

At least once we've identified the problem, it helps get over it and move on. Or at least I hope it will help. See can't make up my mind! LOL

Oh, cool. I also have Saturn in the 7th but in Capricorn.

Yes, now it's just figuring out how to start becoming more aware of when it's happening and how to put a stop to it, if needed, even though it's good to look at things from different angles.

Good luck!

I'm definitely in the process now. I need to start figuring out what I'm going to do with my career/work/professional life. That's my big issues now. Staying in the same career doesn't seem like a good idea. I just really have no clue what I want to be when I "grow up".....

Hey, at least you figured it out now! I'm probably 15 yrs older than you if you're in your 20s. (did you say that or was it someone else on a different thread? Bad memory too?? OMG! )

I definitely know what you mean though about feeling ignored or walked over. I think sun conjunct Neptune in 7th house is the culprit, or at least a big part of it.. We understand ourselves through others and Neptune likes to blur the lines... What other planets do you have in your 7th?

Also I think having a Cancer ASC doesn't help either. People mistake being considerate for weakness of character or something and assume we are naive and "sweet" so would be easy to be taken advantage of... But the Cap traits are still there and start to shine through after we've spent enough time with someone lol

Interesting, we have opposing moon signs. My moon opposite mars aspect also has a large orb.

Mercury, Saturn, and Venus (at the tail end of my 7th) all sit in my 7th house. Neptune is actually in my 6th but it conjuncts my Descendant.

Yep, yep, I get the feeling people either think I'm "cute" or a pushover. However, I can only take so much before my claws start snapping. :P

Yeah, I've read many, many times to avoid drugs, alcohol, etc when reading about my aspects. No problems so far.

I do love the spiritual aspect to Neptune though. Frees me from Saturn.

I can relate to that too. I feel like I want to do a variety of things/careers. Doing the same thing for many years would just completely bore me!

I wish you luck on finding something that works and speaks to you!

That was me, you're fine!

I forgot about that one! My sun is nearly unaspected. It has a trine from Saturn, nearly exact in orb and a very weak square from Mars with an orb of over nine degrees. The other aspect is a semi sextile from Jupiter.

Good. I'm not old enough to be losing my memory.
