Aries women like to be the chaser, from my understanding...
Being romantic doesn't necessarily mean being "girly"
Do something that she would appreciate, but for this you need to know her personality..
Try asking her out, but instead of dinner, do something really different, maybe active type of type..
Like ATV rides.. Etc..
Just spend quality time with no pressure or expectations..

For how long do you retreat? I can take up to 3 weeks without any single word and sometimes one month if I am busy.
Playing hard to get is good, I approve, but you really need to know how to balance. Otherwise she'll think you lost interest in her and that's when she looks for it somewhere else.

I'm an Aries Venus and I'm gonna go with this answer for your question: Playing hard to get is only good for a while.
